Very good review and impressive collection of modern LEGO sets. The problem with this types of set is that they take up a lot of room... I believe that the plane is about the same size as the passenger plane in 3182 Airport? I have been bear one and it's huge... No room for one in my house... I also prefer the small acessory vehicles than the plane itself... But have to admit very swooshable, and for a kid it's a delight! The forklift rocks!!! PS: Ever thought in applying to the Reviews Academy

In some of the pictures i saw the landing gear looks a bit oversized. What's your opinion?

Congratulations for your review. A plain background would be better for the photos, and the box photos could be taken in a better perspective, avoinding the trapezoid shape and cut box margins. And maybe a shot of the DSS (dreaded sticker sheet...) One question: Is the tail printed our stickered? A good set but in my opinion the canopy is too big (buble). Didn´t realized that the ground crew was standing and not seated in the vehicle, if you change the plates and put one 2 x 2 can the guy be seated our does it look odd (with the seering wheel on is face?)

WOW That absolutely beautiful!!! Awesome work. I'm drooling...

Maybe the pyroclastic rocks are to big (out of scale compared to the size of the vulcano). You could brickbuild some smaler rocks, the antenas could be replaced by some brickbuild plumes of smoke (something like the tail of a comet). Awesome MOC

It has my vote! Awesome build. Going to do a post in my LUG forum, try to give it a boost do 1000!

I agree with Shadowheart and Skppo, although it went to the 10K goal, due to a big fan school base, i don´t believe that everyone that voted will buy the set... About huge fan groups, that were able to put their sets in production, you have the example of Minecraft that was heavily suported by the Minecraft game fans but in that case probably TLG though that the fans would buy the set!

Hello K/T/AFOLs I'm Portuguese and I was born in 81. In childhood LEGO was my favorite toy, especially the city theme. A few months ago I saw a report on TV about the AFOL community in Portugal, and although since childhood i didin´t play with LEGO, it held a special fascination ... With this report I realized I was not alone, and with this episode i ended my Dark Ages e returned to the light! Since then I bought some sets, followed some forums on the net, domestic and international, and became a member of Portuguese LUG, where i have an active participation on the reviews section, here you can find some of my reviews: 4206 - Recicling Truck: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7361.0 4432 - Garbage Truck: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7368.0 4433 - Dirt Bike Transporter: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7387.0 4434 - Dump Truck: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7452.0 (unfortunately they are written in Portuguese, but i hope you like the pics!) Being a fan of the modular buildings one of my biggest regret is that i didn´t end the Dark Ages sooner, and missed some of the modulars... Cafe Corner and Market Street...

The Eurobricks Reviewers Academy
BCanilho replied to Bonaparte's topic in Forum Information and Help
Hello Everybody I would also like to be part of the Reviewers Academy. I only recently register in Eurobricks, but since i was back from my Dark Age ( about 3 months ago) i usually check the Eurobricks Forum. I have also made some reviews to my LUG, the Portuguese Lego User Group (PLUG) I would be glad if you check at the PLUG Forum and look at my reviews, unfortunatelly these are written in Portuguese but still you can take a peek ;) Here are the links: 4206 - Recycling Truck: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7361.0 4432 - Garbage Truck: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7368.0 4433 - Dirt Bike Transporter: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7387.0 4434 - Dump Truck: http://www.plug.pt/f...hp?topic=7452.0 You will probably notice that the general picture is more our less the same as the reviews from Eurobricks, i take a lot of ideas on the build of the review from you... Hope you liked them
