  1. Man this takes me back. Back to when I used to be able to make these mini guys in between work.
  2. Great to see all these creative tree building techniques. Thought I'd also go for an interesting approach (the decorations didn't work as well as I'd thought). Anyway love the community spirit and great to get my building mind into gear after such a busy year. EDIT: Fixed image size to requirements.
  3. Thanks heaps CopMike! The Phoenix guy is all sad now that the Tiger has found his wings!
  4. Wow that's amazing CopMike. Happy New Year to all.
  5. Man I was at the NZ Armageddon Expo a while back now and I saw these Decool figures. There was a stall there that had the figures unboxed on a stand and was selling them for $5 each as Lego mini-figures. I actually thought they were Lego until I got up close to them. It just 'irks' me that these people were selling these to parents and kids as Lego figures when they were not. I hope they were able to tell the difference like me. I did appreciate the likeness they were able to achieve and the variety of characters however.
  6. A-AoNZ!!! Haha this reminded me of the Key and Peele - Substitute Teacher video where he calls out the role and says: "A-Aron" instead of "Aaron". So cool Prize B! I haven't any Chima figures but I've been watching the show heaps recently so great to finally get some! Huge thanks to CopMike and I will check back daily to see the winners entries for entertainment! Good Luck All!
  7. Long time no see fellow Eurobrickers Great to see the Christmas spirit once again around here! With work bogging me down year long it's great to finally break out the Lego again for a little bit of fun. What do I want for Christmas? "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" Enjoy!
  8. Wow it's been a while and so many new sets out. Just was wondering if anyone knows of any good stores around New Market Auckland that sell Lego? I am looking for the Lego Simpsons Minifigures in particular. I checked out the Warehouse there but couldn't seem to find any (less I overlooked them). Thanks
  9. ToyWorld having a Waitangi sale. 20%-50% everything in store. Lego will probably be at the 20% end. Ends tomorrow
  10. Thanks for the clarification CopMike and for organising this once again. That is indeed a lot of prizes now! Good to know there's still a chance and will eagerly check tomorrow. Merry Christmas to all!
  11. Congratulations to all the winners so far! Just noticed on the calendar now that all these names have appeared next to bonus. Could these be the remainder of entries that have not yet won? If so I feel a bit disheartened to have not been entered, checking the calendar eagerly everyday to hopefully see my name was fun but now knowing I would have never won is a bit of a dagger. It has nothing to do with the certain missing pages thing either cause people right beside my post have been lucky enough to win. Anyway I can share people's frustrations here (the excitement of thinking your able to win all the way up to now torn away) so would just be good to know in future who actually is entered and who is not. Despite all this I love hanging around Eurobricks to keep up to date with everything and enjoy scrolling through all the entries to all the various contests and raffles held here so thank you. Have a good Christmas
  12. Great to see the Christmas spirit of Eurobricks arise once again! Lord Pig Vader getting into the Christmas spirit! Grumpy Sparrows Star Wars are a great compliment to the Lego
  13. Though people can print anything they want there is still a demand for a sufficient skill level to actually model the pieces. I think people will end up selling designs of various Lego pieces, which in their point of view is ideal printing whenever there is demand.
  14. Congrats to all the winners! Really great ideas and really well presented.
  15. Congratulations to all the winners! It was very exciting checking back day after day and much suspense was built for me when the server was down those couple of days. Next year may just be my year but a huge thanks to CopMike for providing such entertainment
  16. Thanks so much for the review! I'm just excited about the fact that all the figures have leg printing and back printing. This makes the figures the definite stand out of the set for me.
  17. Wow! Can always count on you WhiteFang for the reviews. I didn't expect Series 9 to come so quick and it's great to see the one's I aim at getting are all in lots of 4+ in a box. Great odds but I do feel for those who are after the ones in lots of two. Will be interesting to see if the distribution is close to this.
  18. Impressive MOC to display the IG-88 droids My personal preference of the droids is the third from the left. Simplistic looking and the head works really well with the body.
  19. Congratulations! It was really awesome to see the Space Marines in the main banner on the CUUSOO site. Awesome work and can't wait to see what's in store next.

    Dragon Ball Z

Welcome everyone. It has been a while since I have gotten into my Lego but I'm back again. Today I present to you my Lego Dragon Ball Z concept of the 'Cell Games' arena as a Lego set. Bear in mind I don't have the pieces or skill at the moment to create the mini-figures and models but I however am learning to use photoshop and other media. I have conceptualised mini-figures: Cell Goku I have also created on LDD the design of the Cell Games arena itself: For those of you who are unfamiliar with DBZ and the references I am making here is a picture: Though the arena isn't supposed to have stairs I like the effect they create so added them. Also the golden orbs around the outside are meant to represent Dragon Balls. I have also posted this idea to Lego CUUSOO: http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/31414 Hope you enjoy what I have created. Thanks very much for the support. (Wasn't too sure where to post this but I believe Sci-Fi would cover but suggest elsewhere if necessary)
  21. 165 entries, "Most impressive!" Thank you very much CopMike for organising this yet again
  22. Thought I'd make use of my 'Creationary' pieces to see what I could come up with. Merry Christmas everyone!
  23. Just made my first order with you guys. It's quite impressive how you've grown so quickly bringing out surprises along the way. Also interesting idea with the two-head ogre. I like what I see and can't wait to see more. Great stuff
  24. Hey all, It's been a while. Just went into the Tauranga Warehouse in hopes of scouting out some clearance deals as mentioned earlier by Fatteh to no avail. The selection of Lego has decreased immensely since I last went there and it was rather disappointing with no battle packs at all (which is what I was after) and basically no Star Wars at all. They did however have the Series 8 mini-figures available, two boxes worth in fact but they had no specials on or anything.
  25. Hey everyone, Just popped down to the local Warehouse to make use of their 3 for $10 deal which isn't too bad and ends tomorrow I think so take advantage They had three basically full boxes of Series 6 for me to rummage through. On another note harmacy did Toy World have a liquidation sale? I also live in the area and drove by but their logo and signs were all down. Did anything happen that I miss? Thanks
