Awesome Thrash Loving the one shoulder piece armour. Great to use for a gladiator or something.
-
Again a congrats to the winners. Just wanted to ask those who won the mystery figures if they could post pictures in this topic later as I am so curious as to what they are
-
Well I was hoping to save my 400th post for if I won but never mind. However I must say congrats to the last day winners and all of you in fact. Thanks CopMike for hosting this great raffle. Everyday has been suspenseful and it's been great fun.

Wow pictures already. How have they already determined a 2012 Advent Calendar when the 2011 one is still in effect. Is that a Santa Darth Maul???

Star Wars Dart Aarhus and Dart Veritras
AoNZ replied to Lazarev N.'s topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
These aren't bad. I too like the Darth Aarhus but I am not quite familiar with him??? The armour pieceon him looks great though and I would be interested to know what you used as a base for it? I'm guessing the Buzz Lightyear piece or did you just completely make it? -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
AoNZ replied to Rufus's topic in Special LEGO Themes
That robot is gorgeous I wonder if he could have benefitted from different minifig hands or even just grey hands to match his body? Regardless he is one of my favourites. -
I have to echo the words of others where I have to say I love the baby as well Nice and simple and I love the chicken on the roof as well it just adds that little bit of character.
-
Great funnies everyone I'm impressed Oky that you've managed to keep this up and still have high standards with each funny
-
Nice work (Dutch) I like the small detail of the minifig hand-print rather than the human hand as it just adds that Lego-ish detail to it. I've seen others with the human hand print but the quirkiness of the minifig hand is better in my opinion.

Stand a chance to win a random Series 5 minifigures
AoNZ replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Congrats to the the lucky voters I'm curious as to what figures each of you got exactly -
My prize also arrived today Thanks once again to Luxor V and BrickArms. I was very much pleased myself with the weapons where each can easily be incorporated into sci-fi figures. I look forward to Darth Yogi's review as well as I'm not up to date with what each weapon is but nevertheless I look forward to equipping my figs

As others have said very clever use of the jackhammers as the feet. What is this 2 minute Lego movie? I would like to compare your version as it seems quite well done. I've only really seen these in Lego form in the LSW III videogame
-
Great work Davor I like the indentation technique for the windscreen as it makes it easily identifiable. Also the SNOT techniques work well with this.
-
Darn that's a shame. I too was hoping to use them on my Stormies and Clones. Also like Praiter Yed pointed out it's not just on the feet which would have been alright but on the knees too. Still I agree that the legs of the ARC will be handy for both the ARF and Commander Fox with the colour schemes. It's funny how the ARF Troopers in the battle packs so far have the most interesting helmets but not so much the body where we have to pull the other Clones body and legs to create a sweet figure

Yeah I have to say that I am quite enjoying the anticipation. Checking the advent calendar has become a daily task of mine. Congrats to the winners so far with many more to come. I also want to find out what the mystery figure(s) will be
-
Wow I am amazed at the new figures. The ARC Trooper has to be a favorite with the torso and legs going to come in handy for making more Clones. With the Sand Troopers I can't quite tell if the legs have sand marks on them. I sort of hope they don't so I can add the legs to other Stormies and Clones without the sand look.

Wow CopMike that sure is generous and the trios are well thought out I see. So 4 x 24 = 96 and 119 entries so the odds are quite good. Just one more winner a day bringing it up to five would mean 5 x 24 = 120 and 119 entries with one for yourself Now that would just be a giveaway wouldn't it

Congrats to the winners. Well done everyone

Hey guys thanks for sharing your thoughts I really appreciate it. Praiter Yed: Yeah sorry I noticed that I wasn't very informative but I will amend that later. With the weapon it's just the Spartan's spear with the axe pieces from the Evil Dwarf because I wanted to make it interesting without any modifications. The helmet is made of a SPIII villains helmet (Not sure who he's called) with blu-tack carefully attaching BrickForge Arched Pauldrons to the sides so nothing is cut down or anything just the pauldrons are attached cleverly to create an appealing bulky helmet. As you can see in the back view they don't quite run smoothly against the helmet as they're not normally used to attach to the helmet. I used blu-tack because I was afraid of messing up if I tried to glue and I didn't really want to ruin the helmet as it is one of my favourites. The armour is made by BrickForge and is the Shock Trooper Armour but I just wish it was in Dark Bluish Gray so that it matched the colour scheme with the helmet. All in all I wanted to avoid modifications etc. and still come up with a pleasing figure which was quite a challenge but I feel he looks pretty menacing for an alien with a great name to suit . Thanks Praiter Yed for the question and Legostein and Legocrazy81 for the feedback. If you guys have anymore questions or even feedback just fire away because I'm also keen to hear more from the community Thanks. AoNZ

Who loves the name? Alright I am not usually one to try a contest like this against the likes of some very good customizers out there but I thought I would give it a go. Sculpey isn't something that I like because I like my customs to be clean and neat so I've avoided the use of paint and sculpey instead using Blue-tack but I think I've done alright without it. So this is my entry for Category 2 and I do hope you guys like it. Approximate Cost: $8.00 (Namely for the parts, BF and Blue-tack) Inspiration: Star Wars, as such I'm a big fan of it when I thought alien I though Star Wars. When I thought Star Wars alien I thought Jar Jar Binks . Then I thought well the Gungans were pretty useless at defending themselves so I thought they needed to be more like the Gammorean Guards so the result sort of looks like Boss Nass in my opinion. Well looks like I'm the first in this category. I decided to go early so I could get some feedback so would love to hear from you guys. AoNZ

The Flamboyant Baron Maude La Flaga
AoNZ replied to Tomcat RIO's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Excellent work I must say. Love how he is so posable -
Nice work guys. Oky I'm loving the Count Poopu I didn't really know a figure could even sit on his hat Penguin I like the Ki-Adi jokes, you make a great mockery of him
