t I think it had potential to be one of the strong ones had maybe they involved more uniqueness to the set. The picture from prateek shows that there are some unique ones and it would have been nice to have one of them though maybe they are saving him for another set like they did with the jedi meant to be in the T-6 (forgot who that was already)
-
Right. Well then that gives me a chance to get my hands on a new helmet for less money. The Mandalorian's are all identical right? I would have preferred some individuality through ARC packs, jet packs or death watch cape things that I've seen. Also in the Clone Wars TV series are these Death Watch Mandalorians identical?
-
Regarding the Mando Battle Pack, I think that maybe they could have added an accessories pack for the helmets like the Clone Trooper one with the walker. These are the same helmet mold as Boba's right? Because this way these helmets are applicable with those accessories and it would be a nice addition. I guess a jet pack is good substitute though.
-
Good point. There were also though the Hoth battle pack rebels with no back printing and backpacks and the Mando's will also be in a battle pack with jet packs that would cover the printing so there wouldn't be much use in them printing it. Though that is dependent on how many have jet packs I guess because if only one does then there would be a high possibility of back printing as they are all identical.

Regarding the back printing one would think they would leave it blank because it would just be covered by a jet pack anyway. Then again the Clone Jet Troopers had back printing and jet packs.

[Review] Arealight's New Custom Clone Trooper Helmets
AoNZ replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think they would try to print at least one of each helmet but it would be quite difficult as it probably won't be as easy as his torso printing which is a flat surface. Though he did print the Twi Leks very well and even detailed the (Leku?) tentacle things as well. How many variations are there of these Commando's because I was imagining only one print design but I didn't know there are more than one? Bacara and Neyo would be one print design and the Clone Commander Helmet could have many different ones like Bly and Thire. -
[Review] Arealight's New Custom Clone Trooper Helmets
AoNZ replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Great review KielDaMan Like others have said I can't wait to see the printed versions but the unprinted ones are very impressive by themselves if used in the right combinations. Nice transformation of the Cold Assault Trooper helmet, it looks great and hopefully a printed version will arrive in the future. The ARF and Airborne have to be my favorites. I must say Arealight has done a great job on these and can't wait to see if he can pull off printed versions. Also no Mando helmets or Jet Packs? -

BrickForge Stricken With Gold Rush
AoNZ replied to Omicron's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Thanks Omicron for the news. Just a question about what the Maverick Hair looks like? There are no pictures supplied in the shop so I was wondering what they looked like? -
Damn I ran down and they were sold out. Apparently there was a big sweep in the morning so no chance for me. I didn't even find out about this until now so oh well. Does anyone have any idea why so low? Has this set been around for a while or wasn't popular or something? Anyway I'd be keen to hear if anyone managed to get one.

Nice Endor shot Fenris The scale looks great especially with the AT-AT seeming sort of dwarfed in a giant forest. Great work and I look forward to seeing more

Wow those PoP deals sound great but too bad I spent my Lego budget this month. Also on another note I found it interesting that on Trademe in the 'cool auctions' box on the home page that there was an auction for 20 Lego people highlighted in that section? No special Lego men or nothing for charity so I am a little confused??? Anyway can someone tell me if the new sets of Lego come out before or after Christmas because I will need to know when to save and what not? I can't remember when about they appear but it is close to that time right? Thanks.

Checked my local Warehouse to make use of the 30% off Lego Star Wars sale but no new sets on the shelf. Did have the Swamp Speeder Super Pack and Snowtrooper Battle Packs though. I think it's around $16 now for the battle pack.

Love the improvements. You've got the cube dude angle now so that's good. The one on the left in the first pic I was going to comment looked a little narrow and so was gladly surprised to scroll down and find you bulked it up. Nice job can't wait to see the real thing.

Love the combinations people managed to find in this category but my votes go to: 12) Diver & Surfer Entry (Build by squiz) (Love the wave, never expected Lego to shape that way) 8) Robot & Jungle Explorer Entry (Build by lisqr) (The thumbnail does this build justice and is an eye-catching build) 2) Robot & Weightlifter Entry (Build by Dan Church) (Love the gym equipment with people casually working out with a Robot pumping weights behind ) Great job overall to everyone!

This was so hard to choose. I had to browse all the entries for a while 11) Jungle Explorer Entry (Build by Diidy) (It's just screaming out "Need Explorer!") 4) Lifeguard Entry (Build by Dan Church) (Love the realism and it is a great build) 34) Witch Entry (Build by Athos) (Nicely executed, understood straight away ) Great work guys!

Hi all, K-Mart's catalog says that the Hoth Wampa Cave is $80 so a good opportunity for those who want it I guess (Legoman ) Not a fan for it myself but just for those interested. Also are the Series 2 only available at Warehouse and TorWorld?
-
Hi guys, Glad to hear most of you Christchurch guys are alright. Checked my local Warehouse with no signs of Series 1 or 2 so are they even expected to be selling the minifigs? Went to Toy World then and they had one box of Series 2 and only 5 Series 1 on hooks. So Series 1 seems to be fading out fast or is this just my area?

Eurobricks Collectable LEGO Minifigures Series 2 Building Contest
AoNZ replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Thank you WhiteFang for this fantastic opportunity. Now I'm just going to have to get my creative juices flowing. -
This is likely true sadly. Like a while back with the Storm Trooper Battle Pack and Shadow Troopers. To get an army of them you had to buy many. I agree that they won't make all the Mandos have jet packs. If they did they would be too widely available and spending on the Snail Tank Droid would have been pointless (unless you wanted the Snail Tank)

Does the guy with the sombrero in the banner count? He's not normally there I don't think? -
Hi all, I've made a lot of average MOC's in the past and haven't been satisfied with any of them and then I saw the FBTB Contest opportunity and thought I need to build one awesome ship to make my mark. So I present to you my most worked (and expensive) MOC yet: Ruth: No great person wants to seem Ruth-less so that's why they hire him The Spinosoar Known to strike fear into anyone who beholds it. Heavily armed and armored. Once you find out your on Ruth's list you've already been hunted. The holding cell I apologize for the bad quality photo, it was very difficult to photograph and that was the best I could do, but will try again later Well I looked at ships in the Star Wars universe and tried to find a common theme within them. Noting that many vehicles were inspired through animals eg. Slave I - Elephant, Snail tank - Snail, Seperatist Shuttle - Beetle. So I thought to myself how about a Stegosaurus (the dinosaur) and started creating the fin things on top. The two wings of my Spinosoar were originally going to be the largest fins of the Stegosaurus idea until I found I would not have the ability to build such a thing. Finding the right combination I managed to incorporate some of the fins I made and make it resemble a dinosaur. I also wanted to make my Hunter and Ship relate and resemble each other which I think I achieved quite well. All in all Im happy with the build but will update photos later as my Bricklink order would not arrive in time. The most challenging part for me was designing the different sized fins. I will update photos later once my Bricklink order arrives as it would not arrive in time. Did I redeem myself? Does the ship go with the hunter and resemble my inspiration? I would appreciate your feedback. Enjoy!

Found the first and third with ease Second is still troubling after an hour of looking. Well I was trying to pre-empt where you would place the images and wasted an hour doing so
