Nice job

Here is a a movie I made for Rebrick's "Show us an AFOL" contest. It is more of a "biopic" than I care to admit. Hope you enjoy it, and any comments, suggestions are appreciated. PS, sorry for lacking "Flick" in the title. I'm a bit rusty.

Great water effects. I'll have to try them out. Nice job.

I hit a few San Jose, California targets and wal-marts and it was pretty bare. Mostly SW advent calendars and series 1 planets at target, I found one ambulance for 14 ($6 off), and saw a dump truck for 34. The wal Mart in gilroy had the Kai Blade cycle for $7!!!!! Haven't seen those in a while, much less half off. The lego store in Santa Clara only had magnets, books and a little friends set on sale. Wal-mart online has a bundle sale, one including bags end. For $77 you get bags end and the 4 books.

REVIEW: 10937 Batman: Arkham Asylum Breakout
seaotter71 replied to Clone OPatra's topic in LEGO Licensed
thanks for the review. Solidified my lust for this set. I particularly loved the statues (don't blink) and was surprised with the gargoyle. I would have loved it if it had included a new Nightwing, instead of yet another robin. The thing that has changed for me since first hearing of this set is that Scott Snyder's run on the comic books is really dark and twisted, and is causing me to look be a little at unease at the cuteness of the minifigs and a LEGO depiction of such a dark place. Still, I understand how something like Batman is beyond specific interpretations and can go all over the map. I might be in for some interesting nightmares. Anyway, thanks for the wonderful review. -

Very fun. nice job! -
Nice job, I like the pacing. Also like the fighting coreography on your samurai videos.

Christmas comes to Hoth, in a little LEGO stop motion movie I made. I had the idea in case LEGO ran another Santa Yoda contest, but when they went with the Holiplay idea I decided to make it anyway. Enjoy and any feedback is appreciated. Unless you are from the Dean Martin Estate :)

Awesome. I was trolling bricklink for pieces to make the invisible jet, but so cool to see what you made with "normal" bricks. Well done.

Belated hello, as I jumped right into the superhero movie contest. But I'm happy to have found an active community of LEGO fans. I loved LEGOs as a kid, dragging them out even after I had "outgrown" them. Then last November I bought my son his first big boy Lego set, a Star Wars Droid Tri Fighter. And now I think I'm more into it than he is. Currently obsessed with the superhero line, about to succumb to the hobbit sets and all around SW geek. The real kicker is that I've gotten into brick films. I haven't this much fun in years!

Lol. Certainly not strike fear in the hearts of men.

Thanks for holding the contest. I really enjoyed the "daily life" twist.

Moviemaker Contest: Superhero Bowling
seaotter71 replied to thefourmonkeys's topic in Brick Flicks & Comics
nice job. You can put voices in the lego app? How do you do that? -
Thanks! Glad you liked it. The sound is one of the music tracks provided by the app, so you didn't miss any dialogue or sound effects. Glad you liked it. Good eye on noticing the date. I just found out about the contest on Sunday so this is the fastest I've ever done a brickmovie. The reason he flies to Germany, is that he can see how fast the Batmobile goes in the autobahn without worrying about breaking local speed limits. Superman can't bring himself to break a law :)

What happens when Batman and Superman go on a road trip? Find out on my entry for the Movie Maker Contest. Thanks for holding this contest. I'm glad to have joined the community
