I have all of those save for the TIE fighter. I agree, those are all very well designed sets. I also have the Headhunter, Saesee Tiin fighter and new Jedi interceptor. I really wanted the ARC 170 but decided the Headhunter is close in design. What are your opinions on the PT ships like new Vulture or the retired Grevious fighter?

I think the Phantom is disproportionate in size to the overall size of the Ghost. Originally, I thought both sets together would be great but I dislike the way the Phantom nose extends so far on the rear of the Ghost. Also I think the empty rear of the Ghost could be used for storage bay since there are small doors to a compartment. I agree though, I would love to see early reviews on these sets as we near the August release.

True. I just want lego to make a really good shuttle, theta or lamda or otherwise in system scale. Everything shuttle related is either UCS (very expensive and oversized) and/or retired.

A Jedi Temple would be difficult to design, lego struggles with capturing large buildings as can be seen in LOTR/Hobbit themes. I would love to see the Jedi Sentinels and some exclusive Masters, maybe Cin Drallig or Jucasta Nu. I wouldn't mind some updated Jedi like Fisto or Aayla Secura or Shaak Ti either.

New Republic Attack Shuttle please! Does this 'rumor' have any sources or is it just wild speculation? In other words do we even know that there will be some store exclusives for summer?

I went a little crazy and picked up these sets at these prices on ebay: 7964 Republic Frigate $88.77 (complete used w/ figs in sealed bags) 7965 Millennium Falcon $85 (complete used w/ figs) 8096 Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle $28 (complete used w/ figs and several color substitutions) 9500 Sith Fury Class Interceptor $66 (new sealed box) 75019 AT-TE $42 (new sealed box) Now I will wait for Jedi Defender Class Cruiser 75025 for May the Fourth to get Revan. I cannot wait to open 3 out of 5 sets with sealed bags and almost 5000 pieces at around 0.06 cents per piece.

I need two questions answered. Republic Frigate or Jedi Defender Class Cruiser? Emperor Palpatine Shuttle or Republic Attack Shuttle? Are figs worth getting or should I just buy the set without them and bricklink the figs I may want later. Thanks! I really want to expand my starfighter collection with some larger ships.

If a UCS Falcon is released will it drop the price of the System Scale Falcon currently at $130? I'm thinking about buying the Falcon without the Minifigs since Luke and Ben will be in the Cantina and Chewie is outdated and I have 2 Hans.

Agreed. The Death Star is iconic but personally I would only spend $400 on a Cloud City set as it contains some of my favorite scenes in the entire saga. The rooms in Cloud City are memorable and they feature areas of immense character growth and change. I t is a place of false sanctuary which represent the characters at a point of transformation before their fall from a position of stagnancy. Han renounces his smuggler days and admits his defeat allowing for a rebirth. Lando realizes that his prestige and success are meaningless if he does not protect his ideals. Leia finally acknowledges her feelings for Han and by experiencing sorrow she understands what it means to be powerless. Luke endures profound emotional turmoil and at last realizes the enormous burden of becoming a Jedi, he sees that good does not always triumph and he sees that evil is not irredeemable. He feels the conflict in Vader because through the Force he opens himself to the suffering of his father, knowing that ultimately Anakin wants the chance to be the savior he was meant to become.

Well my bookcases have been invaded by Lego sets and dioramas since collecting LOTR and Hobbit, just on the very top and atop books. I also used all my desk space for my obsolete desktop lol. Now I'm getting more serious with my Star Wars collecting and want to properly display all my starfighters so I bought a leaning bookcase. I also thought about floating shelves. The shelves on the bookcase are 15'' deep so should fit all of them well enough.

I am neck deep in Lego Star Wars! Just picked up Z-95 Headhunter at Walmart $35.99 and had price match at toysrus, Gold Leader Y-wing $39.99 and Saesee Tiin's Jedi fighter $29.99. I love all 3 starfighters and cannot wait for Snowspeeder and B-wing later this year in the 2014 wave. Had to buy a ladder bookcase for all my sets lol. Now I have 4 PT ships and 3 OT ships. Still want TIE fighter!

If the US never gets any then yes I'll take one. Have to double check shipping prices to Florida.

I wonder why DGB is as cheap as TLC? I would want the TLC to be cheaper, around $35 before paying for it.

I have more sad news and observations. My local target for this first time I have seen has no LOTR or Hobbit sets at all, no signs and no shelf placement. It seems as soon as the hype for DoS died down, retailers just abandoned related merchandise. I know that some big waves have come out recently like Lego movie and Star Wars 2014 so there is limited set space but that is really sad.

I got Millennium Falcon, TIE fighter and X-wing Microfighters along with a discounted Desert Skiff set. I found a treasure trove of old 2013 sets like Rancor Pit, Jabbas Palace, Republic Gunship, Millennium Falcon, and Battle of Hoth in a Toysrus Xpress in the mall but none of the sets were clearance. It's pretty upsetting! It's as if this specific Toysrus missed out on all clearances and just let's these all sets rot because they had almost ten deep of these sets lined up. My local target has no clearance sets only X-wing, Geonosis Duel, and millennium falcon at full price. Everything else was new 2014 wave.

Now having picked up most of the new wave I have to go back and look for sets like Desert Skiff, the Gold Leader Y-wing, TIE fighter and a few others. Going to go bargain hunting around the area, look ok amazon and maybe use brick link. I can't believe I passed up on Droid Escape and Desert Skiff when I came back into Lego!

I'll be ready to play this beauty on my PS4. :D

Much better than the other V-wing attempts by Lego including the 75039. Great job, I will definitely have to make some mods to the 2014 version after seeing your amazing MOC. There are lots of problems with 75039 but the worst are the lack of front plating to streamline the starfighter and the totally absent weight to the bottom of the nose. The wings come very close to being a number one issue but are easily fixed.

Where did you find the sale?

I got X-Wing Starfighter (amazing build), Anakin's Jedi Interceptor (nice build), V-wing (okay but some poor design choices), general Grevious wheel bike set, and Death Star Troopers, Kashyyyk Troopers, and Utaupau Clone Troopers battle packs. I'm not too interested in Grevious wheel bike so I may pick up Tri-droid ship Has anyone build both the Tri-droid and Vulture fighter? Is one set a better build than the other?
