    We watched the hobbit for the 3rd time last night and rise of the guardians.

    Some men of gondor and a trebuchet wouldn't go a miss and a mordor siege tower being pushed by a cave troll in armour. Still need some lothlorien elves for helms deep and more men of rohan.

    the lego employees are very helpful, they always go out of there way to make sure you are happy. if your after certain minifigures they help you feel the packs to get the one you want. think we are going to pop into our local shop tomorrow when we are out and about. cant wait haha :)

    I was lucky I ended up getting 5 Orc forges at £30 each and the urukhai battle had gone Down to £16.99 in tesco at the time so I bought quite a few of them to build up my rohirrim. It's still expensive trying to build an army, my mate worked at whsmiths and he managed to get get me 50 urukhai poly bags for nothing.

    i live about £25 minutes away from lego store, im on first name basis with a few of the employees. i think i need to go to lego rehab.

    well i called into smyths toy store and they have minifigures buy one get half price, so two minifigs for £3 which isnt bad. also picked up last helms deep for £75, sw desert skiff for £16 and a urukhai battle set for £23.99

    thanks for posting this, its a great help. i picked up 3 helms deep sets and quite a few of the urukhai battle sets. ive managed to start building the outer wall which is quite big now, i will try and post a pic tomorrow after work. cheers

    we need another zombie minifig, i missed series one and i dont want to pay £20 for one. i would do a walking dead scene, just use heads and hands with different torsoes and hair.

    toys r us seem to have loads, 5 0r6 boxes each store but they are limiting them to 9 figs per customer. i managed to get a box before this all came about.

    i thought the divers helmet would be similar colour to series 5 gladiator. but its not and looks cheep.

    the diver, conquistador, actor/poet and the alien do it for me. conquistador will look good fighting my aztec warrior.

    i was at lego shop today and was told the diver in series 8 was going to be old fashioned type with brass helmet. like in men of honour.

    lego shop is only selling 6 figs per customer and all the other shops have only recieved one box each sop far. they are disappearing fast!

    It seems like each shop has only been given one box each. i went to smyths toys in liverpool and they had sold out, so i went to one in st.helens and they had 40 minifigs left so i bought all of them for £1.99 each. i ended up with 4 full sets and i went to w.h smiths today and got a couple to make up the 5th. smiths had them as £2.49 each but they give you a 50p off your next minifig sale coupon. also as of monday if you spend £15 or more you get a free £5 coupon for minifigs.
