While it could be useful for statues and stuff, I doubt that I'll spend several hours sifting through several boxes for a one in a million chance to find a golden minifigure. Of course, if I do stumble across one I'd buy it in a heartbeat...

MOC: Tyr Viking, a LEGO Anchor Handling Tug
LukeClarenceVan replied to Konajra's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Phenomenal work, both in size and complexity. -
Brilliant use of slopes and battle droids, and the use of Bariss Offee's (?) head works very well.

Thanks! Thanks, it's always a gamble when someone else takes over a series. Exactly... ;) -

Future of SW Contest: Where's Solo?
LukeClarenceVan replied to LukeClarenceVan's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Thanks! Thanks! I'm not sure if I'd like to see him return or not - while he's quite cool they'd probably botch him up somehow... -
Haha, at least it's not as bad as Greedo shooting first... Who knows, I can't say I'd build it soon, but perhaps in the next few months I could give it a shot. Thanks Zane! Thanks! I actually considered that, but felt like a bit of variation. Thanks! Thank you, I find them useful for all sorts of stuff.

Here's my entry for Si-MOCs' awesome Micro Sci-Fi Contest. I decided to build the scene from the Mos Eisley Spaceport where Han Solo encounters Jabba the Hutt. A couple of overview shots. And the Falcon up close. If I get a couple more thermal detonator tiles I may have to build the whole ship... Thanks to the sponsors and organizers of this contest, and thanks for viewing! And maybe voting... ;)

Future of SW Contest: Where's Solo?
LukeClarenceVan replied to LukeClarenceVan's topic in Watto's Junkyard
Thanks, I think I've got it now. I probably should have read that tutorial before posting... ;) -
This is my entry for the Future of Star Wars Contest in the small category. After spending a year recovering from his stay in the Sarlacc, Boba Fett is back and better than ever. Having heard that Han Solo has traveled to Mandalore to broker a deal for some Beskar to aid the Rebellion's war effort, Fett returns to his cultural homeland to resume the chase; only this time it's personal. At this point, Boba Fett has found the contact that Han is supposed to be meeting... "Fett? I thought you were dead!" "Rumours of my death were greatly exaggerated. Now where's Solo?" Meanwhile... "Hey Chewie, I wonder where our contact is?" "Hurghnnn..." "Yeah, I've got a bad feeling about this too." About the build: This is meant as a back alleyway behind the Oyu'baat pub in Keldabe, with the Kelita river going by. It's based on Karen Traviss's depiction of Mandalore rather than that of the Clone Wars TV series, I believe a grittier less metropolitan Mandalore better suits the people. I figure that if the TV series can throw EU continuity under the bus, the new movies can take precedence over the Clone Wars and restore the EU version of Mandalore. ;) Also, with the prize being offered in the vignette category, a Mandalorian MOC should have some advantage... Thanks to the Erdbeereis and the sponsors for holding such a great contest. Thanks for stopping by!

Review 70000 Razcal's Glider.

Great review, thanks for posting. Are Razcal's wings detachable from the neck mounting? -
Ah, thanks. Good to know, I'm not familiar with most abbreviations like that.
-
Not sure if it's just my missing something or a weird computer glitch, but what's the prize pool? In any case, great contest, and I hope to enter no matter what prizes are provided.

Fantastic contest, time to start brainstorming...

Fantastic contest, it'll be interesting to see a balance of techniques used to create a LEGO product like creation. Thanks for hosting this, hopefully I can scrounge up the time to enter, and I look forward to seeing everyone's MOCs!
