It took a team of 12 model shop employees 3,000 hours to build this life size model of the LEGO Bag End set. In addition to containing over 2 million 1×1 bricks this model has working lights in the fireplace and over the bookstand as well as a chimney that really smokes!

^ 3 of them (wowsers) what are you going to do with 3, build 1, keep 1 in box and use the parts for a MOC for the 3rd one or is 2 of them for a present :-)

It's not yet been shown off at an event but presumably at another lego event that will be early on next year, I think the pictures of that were taken at the workshop where they built most of the big version of the bag end model.

Presumably yes because the most expensive sets tend to be available through s@h but if it was a lot cheaper it would be available probably at a toys r us but it could still be exclusive only to toys r us and s@h

Great review, definitely getting this set and all other 2013 superhero sets, it's funny about the rip in your instructions because in the 2012 doc ock set my comic had a massive rip in the middle (stupid packaging)

Yeah I was also on another thread and I thought it was weird how somebody had made a comment with no name and picture but I also have to say earlier on tonight I had a problem getting onto eurobricks so it could be something to do with the servers

Welcome to eurobricks, I haven't heard anything yet about there being a superheroes UCS set but if there is ill definitely buy it, fingers crossed

Yes it is a little overpriced but still it is a winner for me, the UK pay slightly less than you lot, we pay €160 for arkham but the lucky USA only have to pay €121.57 boo the prices for us lot
