  1. 6103, forestmen, and peasants with pitchforks! Although, the Wolfpack designs are really cool.
  2. Ordered the Witch-King Battle, Lake-Town Chase, and Battle of the Five Armies sets today (with double VIP points). Very excited to receive them! I'll definitely be getting the Lonely Mountain at a later date, either on special or online with the November promotional Christmas set.
  3. Love it - really looks as thick and dense as Mirkwood should - good job!
  4. I would definitely like Bard's (Qui-Gon's) hairpiece in more colours. I agree that Fili's hair would also work for Thor! Hopefully we get some nice variations on the Avengers that we've already seen in minifig form. As for Ultron, I think he'll probably be made as a big-fig. He'd be underwhelming as a normal minifig I think, even if it's closer to his size in the film.
  5. Most recent was the 75054 AT-AT. I'm a big fan of Hoth, and have most of the Hoth sets that have been released, except for the AT-ATs, which I've always wanted. Now I have one, completing my Hoth collection! It's a good set; sturdy, good minifigures. Took me 2 hours and 45 minutes to build. That should be it for Star Wars LEGO this year for me (except the advent calendar). Can't wait for Slave I! Hopefully the release it early for VIPs in December
  6. Awesome to hear that Boba's cloth is printed! The 2013 version is my favourite Star Wars minifigure, I didn't think they'd be able to improve him!
  7. I have both the Pet Shop and the Palace Cinema: I think Pet Shop is a bit better than Palace Cinema - the latter is a bit bland on the inside. However, the Cinema is an interesting-looking building, and since you already have Parisian Restaurant, it's definitely more different to the Restaurant than the Pet Shop is. Also, it's a corner, which makes it different again. Pet Shop is flexible, though, in that it can be split and rearranged. Any modular is a good choice though!
  8. That's surely a fake list. Having a hobo minifig would be a bit insensitive, there are real hobos out there. As others have said, too many city/town characters as well.
  9. Thanks for the great overview. My first set was a Johnny Thunder set (Bi-Wing Baron), and I remember the theme fondly! Also, it's awesome that he's Australian! We are quite under-represented down under, so it's always a novelty when we get some attention
  10. Really nice, I love the white garden wall, the fountain, and all the foliage
  11. Have they done sets based on the 2003 series before?
  12. Now I don't feel so bad for stupidly missing out on the Clone Lieutenant promotion online last year (I missed it by a day because I assumed it was the whole month not just the first half...). I'm really sick of Super Battle Droids though, I wish they were Geonosian Battle Droids instead. So... is the Azure Angel a Clone Wars set? Why has it got normal figures, when it's based on Clone Wars material?
  13. Some people on this forum are being extremely entitled, as if LEGO owes them something. LEGO does not owe you any particular sets, just because they are a major part of the movie. LEGO made sets based on what they thought would sell. Maybe they made some mistakes. That doesn't mean they should be attacked. Getting angry about the issue is just silly. Sure, there is nothing wrong with complaining because you are disappointed that you didn't get certain characters/scenes/locations that you wanted, but attacking LEGO because they didn't meet your demands is arrogant. I am extremely happy with the selection of sets we've received, particularly from The Hobbit (it's a shame LOTR couldn't have another wave, but we'll see), which has pretty much covered all bases. There are a couple of minifigs that would have been nice, but complaining because LEGO didn't provide you the "right" characters is just ridiculous. LEGO is not under any obligation to provide you with every single version of a character seen in the film, simply because it appears in the film and you deem it important. We also have to remember that LEGO has been put in a very unique situation with the Hobbit films. There were originally only meant to be two films, and LEGO would have designed the sets around those. Then they announced a third film, and have been constantly revising release dates, costumes, characters (as seen with the Azog changes above), etc, making it very difficult for LEGO to come up with an accurate representation of the final films. We don't know how much of the films they get to see beforehand, especially in such a turbulent production process as with The Hobbit. Criticising LEGO for not including what they did not know is very unreasonable. "BO5A is not great" - well, clearly it is, otherwise there wouldn't be people praising it.
  14. Really good, could definitely be a real set! Great play features, I love the fiery highlights too.
  15. Looks very nice! Simple, but effective, it definitely looks like it should!
  16. Captures the look and feel perfectly! I always love the use of minifigure legs as inanimate objects/architecture, etc.
  17. Oh wow, didn't realise what the water was made of just from the first picture - well done, looks great!
  18. This is probably the most comprehensive collection of GoT/ASoIaF minifigures which I've found - well done. These are all very good!
  19. Very nice representation of the scene - I like the colours you've used. What face did you use for Theon - it's quite a funny one (but appropriate, I think). I also just checked out all your other GoT stuff - very cool as well! There really should be more GoT/ASoIaF MOCs on the forums - keep it up!
  20. So cool! I love the different colours in the lower, wooden part of the build. Very nice!
  21. Looks really good! Will love to see the final product!
  22. I also have an excel spreadsheet, and at the moment I have approximately 121,000 bricks. That's spread across 358 sets and including 1,344 minifigures.
  23. I think some people here are confused as to the purpose of this thread: This is not a list of actors with single minifig representations, it's a list of actors who have minifig representations based on multiple characters. E.g Christopher Lee who appears as a minifig as Count Dooku (SW) and also Saruman the White (LotR). If it were a list of actors who have appeared as minifigs, then the list would be gigantic! Not impossible, as you could go about it methodically, but considering the number of licensed characters that have been depicted by LEGO over the years, it would be very big.
  24. Well, my Big W here in Sydney, NSW, has the same prices. All the second-wave LOTR sets for almost $50 off, and they've been like that for a while, so it must be the everyday price. I bought a second Black Gate at that price! TLM and new Superhero sets seem to be hitting stores in Sydney/Western Suburbs too, it seems (Big W is what I've checked).
  25. I was very tempted to buy four to create the ring-fort by connecting them all, but then I saw the movie, and realised it wasn't supposed to be a ring-fort, but rather a water-gate, so I was thankfully able to settle with the two I already had... I'll mod it later so it actually has a gate in it.
