  1. Oh, I admit there's holes in the possibility that he's a liar, but I still don't trust it. I did think of both those options, actually, but look at this. Fitzdef tells us Mehmet is cultists, Mehmet tells about the cloak, and now SUDDENLY the investigator got the same "thought" results as the other people, which was NOT brought up before than. Just smells fishy fish fish like to me.
  2. The heroes go to sleep. Day Six And the next morning, wake up. Those with bedrolls feel refreshed, those without them do not. Where would the heroes like to go today? (Factory, Rebels) The Party Skrall (played by WaterBrickDown) Level 12 1/2 Ranger (Party Leader) Power: 21 (+4 Against Beasts) Health: 1/17 Gold: 70 Inventory: Hunter's Crossbow (WP:9, +4 vs. Beasts), Potion (3), Remedy (1), Tonic (1), Smelling Salts (1), Smoke Bomb (1), Water Bomb (1), Ice Bomb (1), Holy Bomb (1), Skeleton Decoy (1), Phoenix Essence (1), Military Grade Lightning Bomb Tesni Hightribe (played by Peppermint_M) Level 17 1/2 Berserker (Back-Up Party Leader) Power: 23 Health: 33/33 Gold: 137 Inventory: Cysgodion the Great Sword of Darkness (WP: 11, Darkness), Cryfder (WP:6), Mockthril Shield (SP:5) 2 Phoenix Essence, 4 Potions, 3 Mead, 3 Venom, 2 Nostrum, Haldor Skovgaard (played by Scorpiox) Level 14 Cleric Power: 26 (24+1) Health: 22/22 Ether: 20/20 (17+3) Gold: 25 Inventory: Heavy Metal Rod (WP:11), Lesser Ethereal Cloak (SP:1, +3 Ether), Paper Doll (Hexed immunity), Frying Pan (WP:1+1 health, unequipped), Spike Coller (+1 power), Shovel, Pickaxe, Potion, Remedy, Venom and a fur-lined bedroll, Tonic, Phoenix Essence, Military Grade Fire Bomb Dyric Rone (played by Legonator) Level 8 Rogue Power: 13 Health: 1/14 Gold: 261 Inventory: Double Chain Whip (WP: 5), Throwing Knife (WP: 3), Longsword (WP: 3), Venom, Smelling Salts, Pre-Rolled Loaded Die, Potion, Grating Stone, Military Grade Lightning Bomb
  3. No you CAN'T have been framed. The framer would have framed themselves. I think Fitzdef's investigator is a liar or an invention.
  4. Boomingham's body moves jerkily. "Remedy me, and I can attack this round still!" He motions, fighting the force inside his body, of Shash to attack the Magic Bolt, and Heinike to attack the Elemental Beast. Boomingham prepares to attack the Elemental Beast once he is healed. Battle Order Benji Boomingham Marvelo Heinike Shash
  5. Just to clear something up for me, the Mirror Cloak made the person target themselves, right? So the investigator "thought" they targeted Mehmet and got scum, but they targeted them self and they got scum? That actually makes no sense. The investigator sounds fishy.
  6. Does the mirror make sense, though? Didn't we say that it reflects back the actions of those targeting the person with it on? And didn't we get back a cultist result for Mehmet? That punches a few holes in the argument, unless I don't understand the mirror. The investigator investigated themselves... and got cultist?! Which means there's a cultist investigator? Or, you could say Mehmet was framed, but, with the mirror on, wouldn't the person framing him just frame themselves?! The mirror still just raises so many questions for me.
  7. I need to do well this game.
  8. Exactly what I've been saying. Virgin is actually the WEAKEST claim for scums. That's why I want to keep Jennifer alive for someone to test. Even if they choose to not use their nocturnal actions, our tracker works as a block. For the purpose of upsetting the vote on her: Unvote: Mellifluous Murgatroyd (Scubacarrot), Vote: Melaena Stools (CallMePieOrDie)
  9. OoC: You really do have to replay that round for Marvelo... just him, but you can't dictate him using an item he doesn't have, that throws the game out of whack. Boomingham holds his shield high. "Everyone, let's hit the Elemental Beast while he can't hit back! Marvelo, I suggest you join Shash in I in a full front charge!"
  10. Everyone listen. I have a reason to keep Jennifer around. The role of Virgin is a BAD ONE FOR CULTISTS TO CLAIM. Roger can check that out in the night. But losing a virgin is awful, we've already lost two. Why not keep her around for a night and whack off another one of the high suspects, have Roger check her out, and if she's not a Virgin she HAS to be a cultists, since no innocent would claim virgin if they weren't one, as it would lead directly to the cultists killing them. I think a virgin is too much to lose, even potentially, so why not test her out in the way that we know WORKS.
  11. I voted for you because you take issue with Mehmet organizing the town and Roger's ability. You've voted for both of them, and currently they are the two (along, perhaps, with Patrick) who seem to be doing most for the camp. Therefore, you are the most likely cultist. I don't really have a clear idea who is a cultist, to be honest, but I need Jennifer alive long enough to test her claim. If Roger finds she has an action, any action, she is confirmed Cultist for me, but if we lose another virgin... well, I don't want to think about that.
  12. "Do you still suspect me of treachery, Tesni? Why would I betray you? It's all very nice to suspect me, but without motive it's a little fruitless." "I'm here Skrall!!! Hello! Welcome back! I have some bad news for you, sadly. Your friends are in the castle. I met a lizard that met a frog that ate a fly that saw them there. I don't think you can get them until the rebels attack the castle. I'm so very sorry." <I am waiting for you to start the next day before I do anything. You must choose to sleep.>
  13. OoC: The Healing staff should be gone (-20 from Benji and -24 from Shash). Boomingham laughs wildly. "This is a true fight! I wish I had some smelling salts right about now! I could work at double the speed! Shash, take out that magic spear!" Boomingham dashes once more at the Elemental Beast from the front row.
  14. What a ridiculous day. I'm finding it very hard to follow with one person holding all the cards. Frankly, Mehmet has a lot of power, and if he's town that's good and if he's not, that's terrible, but for now there's no point to taking him out, and we'll just have to pray to god that he's town. Roger seems to be good, for the time being. I think that his claim is honest, and his need to not alert anyone as to who he found to be virgin is a true one. However, and I'm sure he knows this, if he finds two virgins, he MUST put the two of them into contact. That will start to clear things up at least a little, and we'll have the basis for a proven to be good innocents power-house. I would, however, like to Unvote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) and vote: Mellifluous Murgatroyd (Scubacarrot). A supposed virgin is too much to lose right now. Roger, why don't you investigate her tonight, and see what she turns up? That would be a good way to use your ability. If she's lying, we'll lynch her, if she's not, the cultists haven't REALLY gained all that much information, as she's already claimed in thread.
  15. Vote: Jennifer Taylor (Sandy) I'm not sold on any of this. This mirror cloak does NOT sound like a good or normal action to me, and I don't trust whoever has it.
  16. Has someone come forward and said that they made you into a mirror? Where did you get that idea from? It sounds like an ability that would belong to cultists, maybe we should drag them into the rink. If not, how did this theory come to mind, it seems rather far-fetched. Furthermore, was Fitzdef cleared or not last night, I can't tell what the consensus on that is.
  17. Boomingham attacks the Elemental Beast from the front row with the King of the Desert. "This is certainly going to be a fight. Shash, take out that healing staff from the front row."
  18. Sylvia Berent, ready to go!
  19. Boomingham chuckles at Marvelo. "What can I say, I'm a money grubber. Tell you what. Elixir and Tonic to Marvelo, as he can best use it, and a potion to Benji. I'll hold on to the Gold Ore, but once we get back to the hall I'll sell it and divide up the gold, 20 for me, 30 for Benji and 30 for Marvelo. Sound fair?" Boomingham then walked over to Heinike and helps him to his feet. "I'm sorry that we had to knock you down, but up and at 'em. We've got to go follow gold dust through a door. You know how the life of us heroes is! Onwards and upwards I always say!" Boomingham follows the dust.
  20. Hans spits up blood and calmly walks back to the fire. "My god, Hans, did you run into a tree or get into a fight with a bear? What the hell happened." "The whelp happened. I was going to instruct you to stop leaving him out cold during battles, but I can see why once he's out, you'd want to keep him out. What a temperamental- if I see one more offense from him, I'll fight him myself."
  21. Boomingham stares at his new sword, not particularly pleased with in. "When we get back to Eubric, I'm letting Anwyl play with you as much as he wants," Boomingham says to the sword before turning to his companions. "Stiff upper lip, boys." Boomingham attacks from the front row.
  22. Boomingham coughs and sputters. "I'm freezing. Why can't I go fight in a nice temperate place against normal old opponents in a normal old war." Boomingham sighs. "Same order, everyone attack."
  23. "Vonnetate would not send a letter asking for me if he met the same fate as Fredrick. Besides, I am sure he can fend for himself. While you visit the remaining rebels, I will visit him. As for what you must do, tomorrow, you have to visit a factory or a rebel, and the day after that do the opposite. The rebels are itching for war, we have very little time left. And which betrayer, Tesni? You mean McColt? He is only doing his job, he didn't betray anyone. He must die, but you're painting him in the wrong light. He's evil, but he's not secretive about it." "Shut it, Felton, you'll bore them to death. Where'd the whelp go?" Hans goes to find Dyric, and once he does, he pats Dyric on the back. "That is what combat feels like. You're growing. You're going to be okay."
  24. <Sorry, yes, I didn't level up anyone. My mistake.>
  25. Round Three Chaos Beast of Elements Battle Haldor - Critical Hit Skrall - Special Damage (4 - Explosive) Tesni - Special Damage (5 - Holy Bomb) Felton - Miss The battle continues. Haldor smashes his weapon into the beast's face. The beast bellows and bones can be heard snappy and cracking as it's head spins backwards (-50). Skrall and Tesni both lunge forward, but once more a fiery cloud erupts and the heroes are engulfed (-3). After the cloud clears, a Holy Bomb can be seen glistening next to the beast, but no one has time to go pick it up as the Beast quickly dashes by them. Felton swings at it, but is unable to hit. The battle is victorious! The Party Skrall (played by WaterBrickDown) Level 12 1/2 Ranger (Party Leader) Power: 21 (+4 Against Beasts) Health: 1/17 Gold: 70 Inventory: Hunter's Crossbow (WP:9, +4 vs. Beasts), Potion (3), Remedy (1), Tonic (1), Smelling Salts (1), Smoke Bomb (1), Water Bomb (1), Ice Bomb (1), Holy Bomb (1), Skeleton Decoy (1), Phoenix Essence (1), Military Grade Lightning Bomb Tesni Hightribe (played by Peppermint_M) Level 17 1/2 Berserker (Back-Up Party Leader) Power: 23 Health: 33/33 Gold: 137 Inventory: Cysgodion the Great Sword of Darkness (WP: 11, Darkness), Cryfder (WP:6), Mockthril Shield (SP:5) 2 Phoenix Essence, 4 Potions, 3 Mead, 3 Venom, 2 Nostrum, Haldor Skovgaard (played by Scorpiox) Level 14 Cleric Power: 26 (24+1) Health: 13/22 Ether: 10/20 (17+3) Gold: 25 Inventory: Heavy Metal Rod (WP:11), Lesser Ethereal Cloak (SP:1, +3 Ether), Paper Doll (Hexed immunity), Frying Pan (WP:1+1 health, unequipped), Spike Coller (+1 power), Shovel, Pickaxe, Potion, Remedy, Venom and a fur-lined bedroll, Tonic, Phoenix Essence, Military Grade Fire Bomb Dyric Rone (played by Legonator) Level 8 Rogue Power: 13 Health: 1/14 Gold: 261 Inventory: Double Chain Whip (WP: 5), Throwing Knife (WP: 3), Longsword (WP: 3), Venom, Smelling Salts, Pre-Rolled Loaded Die, Potion, Grating Stone, Military Grade Lightning Bomb Felton (NPC)Level 11 1/2 Wren Fighter Power: 8 Health: 32/51 Gold: 0 Inventory: Rapier (WP: 3), Potion x2, Phoenix Essence NOTE: Shield – Rest, recovers 5 Health A piece of paper flutters in the air, and Felton snatches it. The heroes rush after the beast, but they cannot catch up as it burst forward through the main gate of the factory, leaving it on fire. Felton turns to look down the mountain, and lets out an exclaimation. Guard of the town of Haddon are climbing up the mountain. "McColt must have caught on to us. We need to go." The party rushes back to the camp, with Felton leading them, using twists and turns, attempting to lose the soldiers. Hans greets them loudly, but is shushed. The party lays quiet for an hour, but no soldiers appear. Hans starts back up the fire, and addresses the party. "While you were out today I received two letters." And finally, Felton spreads out the story that he received from the Chaos Beast.
