  1. ...and as they left Guffington's altered state, they realized all the gold they had found there was of course not real...
  2. Boomingham rubs his head sadly. It had been too long since he had commanded men. "Alright, new plan. Rufindel, patch up the Ogre for me. No one target the cutlass Monkey or the Monkey with a Flail. They'll be free to nick Ruffindel, sorry chap, and then I can go toe to toe with the other one. That will also let us double up one attack." Battle Order Rufindel Boomingham Atramor Skrall Nyx Ellaria
  3. There were more in the water. There ARE more in the water. Still. I'm just not telling you how many.
  4. "Keep your attack, Atramor. We're double teaming him. That way we'll leave the monkey with a flail untargetted, and I get to whack him too. It's like using those Smelling Salts. I get to act twice, and with only a slight cost to my health."

However, before they get there, a man whistles at them to get their attention. He looks grubby and goofy. "Howdy heroes. Name is Johnny Everyman. I'm supposed to brief you on your mission, Byblos hired me to do so, turns out he's all tied up writing down whatever happened in Dastan, whatever that is. Funnily enough, I already knew, because Felton hired me as his contact in Eubric. I've never met the guy, but he seems smart enough. Seems that once he left some Arena, he thought he might need to contact you folks, so he looked around to see who a good contact in Eubric would be, and he turned me up. After he fought in Haddon, he had me add McColt and Hans to the list of people who I should accept letters from. So, long story short, McColt mailed me a quest for you folks, and then Byblos hired me to explain it. I'm sort of the Heroica of Odd Jobs!" Johnny belches. "So, any questions before I tell you the 'Story of Ennon's Last General', and after that, the 'Story of the Lost Party'?" OoC: Are all stats okay?
  10. And this loot distribution is VERY bold. That's the only reason I took it into account. I'll go bold stuff.
  11. Damn, sometimes we post at the same time and I never catch it. Go update your quest now.
  12. Oh, about an hour only, actually. I'm pretty much ready to go. First half of the pictures are taken, now I'm just editing some, and we'll be on our way.
  13. In an attempt to be railroaded, Guts starts to wave his hands and yell for any monster in the area to come say hello. The heroes lay panting on the beach for a few seconds before the young Guffington approaches them. There is fear in his eyes. "Hello? Who are you? Hello? Who are you? Too much. Too many. Too many. Hello? How are you? Hello, have we met before? Hello, oh you're just the same as that other guy. Oh, you like the opera too. Oh, I was just at the warehouses the other day. So was Mr.- oh hello, good to see you again. Hello. How are you? Have we met? Oh, Lady, how wonderful. Oh yes, everyone here has money. Haha. So funny Sir. Yes. Hello? How are you? Hello. Oh you're just like all the rest. All the rest. Just like. All the rest." he says. "Hello, do you see that?" Guffington points to the water. There are murky small blobs floating around in it. They look a little bit like free floating fat. "What do you suppose those are?" The heroes cannot respond before five of the blobs lunge forward and Guffington shouts and dissolves into the mist. The blobs surround the heroes. The Enemies People A Level 2 Water Humanoid Health: 85/85 Special: Birth – The “People” dies, but a new “People” takes its place. 14. "Where are we going? That is a good question. Could be Cathargo, I've been there twice, or Salamanda, I've been there three times. Dastan five. I even went to the Mistlands once." Guffington sighs. "No doubt, I can be your guide wherever we are headed." "Oh, look, it's me!" The heroes look out and see a much younger Guffington on the shore of an island. "Here you go, ol' Guffy! Say good bye." The young Guffington looks over his shoulder. "Good bye! I'll miss you! I'll visit... maybe! I'm off to Eubric!" No one in the mist responds. "They say all great men must go seek their fortune, and I can't really seek it here... so I guess this has to happen." The heroes are shocked to find themselves suddenly in shallow water. The boat has disappeared from under them. They make their way to the shore.
  15. Boomingham cocked his head. He eyes the Ogre, and then the little girl. "The Ogre stays with me. You can go with just Atramor and Rufindel around the back. If no one comes your way shortly, come back around and meet up with us, would ya?" Boomingham gave the others a minute or two to get to the back of the warehouse before turning to Skrall. "Take that door off it's hinges. This contact was supposed to be alone, giving him a little scare wouldn't be the end of the world. Maybe they'll peacefully after that, and if not, then at least they'll know what they're dealing with."
  16. The weapons already added back into the inventory? Or am I forgetting something else?
  17. Hopefully the selling of unique weapons will encourage QMs to reuse previous unique weapons. It will be a huge hassle if everyone keeps making up new items. I would much prefer that two people ran around with the same unique weapon, as opposed to having to remember double the unique weapons.
  18. OoC: No, JimBee, I'm afraid I'm just using an inferior knowledge of the internet. The heroes looks around and are shocked to find the walls of a laboratory have faded away. The mist closes in and the heroes feel grains underneath. They or on a cold gray beach. Fog drifts off the water. Suddenly, a small boat floats by and a voice hollars out. "Need a lift?" "Slow down, captain!" "Aye aye sir. The heroes hop onto the boat. Guffington holds out Guts' weapons for him. "I took good care of them, never fear. How are you three holding up?" But make no mistake, boy, you're to stick with us. Even if things get hairy. Sounds like you could benefit from seeing a little danger and learning how to deal with it."

  21. You all look like tree stumps to me. Is that not normal?
  22. Please post it if you figure it out, I don't know how to put the two swords one over the other, but I'd love that look! Same goes for me. But that's not the way you worded it. Hybros, you friggin' kill everything as it is. A hastened assassin is a deadly assassin.
  23. I'm just adding the stuff I pick up! Not my fault someone gave me that piece of clothing. and Boomingham's a bit of a... Dark Paladin?
  24. The new and improved Boomingham! He has also bleached his counterstrike gloves, as you can see.
  25. As the storm approached and the skies darkened, Boomingham threw up the Hood he had taken off Blathazar's hands. He had gotten it dyed to fit his wardrobe a little bit better, but it's power still was sewn in with the fabric. Boomingham grinned.
