I need more part. Fungoids... I'm sure Guffington would love one of those. When is that embassy going up, WBD?

Doctor's Treat - Consumable. Permanently grants the "God" effect. The user is unable to be KO'd. Or, to go along with your title: Rock Candy - Consumable. Permanently grants both the "God" effect (the user is unable to be KO'd) and the Petrified effect.

Yeah, and killing Bluehood was extremely important to him (probably the most important thing he's done), so I'd need to advance to a class with ether AND swords, because he's got so many nice swords right now. That's basically necromancer... even then I'd be giving up half my swords, and I doubt I can get on that many Zeigfried quests in time... Paragon is likely, but that's probably years away still. I think I'm probably the lowest level of those who started playing when the game began and have continued to play since then...

CMP! I have been meaning to get back to you on your quest, because everyone deserves feedback, so here it goes! Characters were lovely and fleshed out and a lot of fun. I wish I had the pieces for some of them, because they'd be a lot of fun to have around. The sets were nice and clean and simple, but still communicated the scene. They remind me a bit of Rumble Strike's original sets, though his have gotten more complex (loving your sets this quest, RS). Flipz raved about, and I agree, the immunity to specific scrolls and effects as opposed to overall immunity to scrolls and effects works very well and adds more strategy than before. I have morphed a number of enemies accordingly. Finally, your drops were inventive and fun... but I think there may have been too many awesome ones. Its a critique I give out often, but too many unique drops (particularly artifacts) just isn't fun for me. I'm afraid soon every class will be able to deal every effect with every hit. Don't be afraid of consumables and GOLD. And the heroes got a friggin' free drop in that scarf. Why'd that happen?! WAY too nice. That being said, your drops WERE very cool, and I really enjoyed them, AND you pulled a Doc by making them extremely appropriate to the thing/person dropping them. Kudos on an awesome quest. WBD, it looks as good as ever! Long form story is challenging as all hell. The worst is when you have plot points that are done by QMs before you reach them. Just wait for my final quest in the Guffington/Russel/Wren story. THAT will be truly epic.

I sadly don't think there is any Expert class that appeals to me. I really wish there were, but there isn't. If Swashbuckler ever comes out, I'll probably still game for that.

"Hey hey hey. We start with names, mister. Mine's Johnny Everyman, who are you?" "As for this Vipera fellow, can't say I've heard of him. What is he, some Emperor across the sea or something? Listen, you want to know which Bloodpaw was killed last week and how much gold he had in his house before a certain dashing young man came along and took it, because you know he wouldn't be using it anyway so why not wet your whistle, you come to me. Anything out of Eubric, you'll have to grab yourself another source. Though that being said, you want to hire someone to track down this Vipera, I can set you up with a connection, though I'll of course take a small finder's fee. You understand." OoC: Johnny doesn't know Vipera, but she has shown up since you freed her, and talked about you quite a bit. If you haven't yet, go read Quest 30!

I think it's the references that make the game appealing. It's postmodernism writing, and it's awesome. It's actually what most fantasy lacks. Only in Heroica can you expect Gangnam Style, the Merry (Wo)men, people of questionable gender (Singerson!), and Prometheus. It's a game for educated people who are educated in every facet. And I'll try to think of something for Boomingham. I listen to a wide array of music, so I'm afraid of posting something strange. But, here's two I think work for him and his multiple different personality traits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ri5K28MSY_A (This is also a fun song to listen to whenever a party is preparing for a big battle, and they've all become chummy). Electroswing is also one of my very favorite styles of music (look up Caravan Palace, Parov Stelar or Tape Five).Fun trivia - Let's Start a Riot was indeed named after the song by Three Day Grace... though I'm not a huge fan of that style of music as a whole. EDIT: This could also just be me listing songs I like.

"I don't keep tabs on most people, but Felton has sent word of their locations, in case anyone needed to be in contact with them. They actually split up for a short while. Felton and Hans went to their respective home towns in the High Kingdoms, to, you know... well, it ain't a pretty thing to say, but I think they were saying good bye to their families and friends. They don't know if they're going to survive or not. Felton was some high ranking fellow in his village when he was taken to the Arena, and I hear Hans has got a ma that he needed to leave some gold with. They reconvened and set out towards Haddon, from the sound of it. Apparently Felton doesn't like entering the town, so he stayed out on the outskirts while Hans went to grab McColt. Last I heard Felton had convinced some fisher to give them a ride this way. He's a smart fellow. I could use him, if he lives and all." "Poletad hopped his way to the Convent of the Sacred Frog, this place where the Frog Paladins live, from what I could tell. Apparently most humans don't know where it is. He wanted to meet with Pylon to get his blessing, you know for, similar reasons. May be dead sooner rather than later and all that. Felton told the fisherman to swing on by and grab him too. And then, of course, we've got that quest notice."

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day One: Heart to Heart
Zepher replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I'm sorry, your action is called Tuckfard?! Was that what Julia told you it was, or are you saying that? Ah, who knows, maybe I should go take a walk. Maybe somewhere along the line her team just decided "screw it" and told her to have fun oinking her way down. I've been thinking her team wouldn't let her be that crazy, but maybe by the time they saw what was happening they decided it was too late. -

Oscar, I love you and your prickliness, but I'm with the horse on this one. I just can't see a scum team allowing this to happen. You say we've seen worse before, but have we, in a situation with people of this caliber. There must be someone somewhere who would have put a stop to this ridiculousness by now. I really just can't imagine a TEAM allowing a member to do something so attention grabbing the first day. And if they were feeding her a claim to make, would they really pick that one? Perhaps, if she was at first reacting without talking to her team, the whole lie detector thing could have happened... but SURELY they'd be advising her at this point, and they would have told her to not make the Tuckfard claim. I think you must always give your opponents respect and expect the BEST of them, not the worst. I read that in a book once. So I don't think that they'd let this happen. On Day One particularly. I advise you do take your cute little stumpy legs to go for a walk, and get back to us. We've still got time in the day. -
Everyman salutes Skrall. "Nice to meet you, Skrall! I don't have many Ogre friends, can't hurt to add one. Haldor and Tesni... they were the Nords, right? A couple or something. I can hardly recall everyone I meet. Tesni wanted to bring in Roderick dead or alive. I liked that. Ah well, word on the street is that he exploded or something. I really wanted that reward too." "To answer your question, Arthur, I only know what I hear. Bennetton has been known to pass some knowledge on to your barkeep, and he's worked with heroes before. He was up for promotion before Lillybelly, but turned down the job because the job blows. I don't love the guy, but he's sure as hel smart, and also good at surviving. He lost his leg to some Wolfgang thugs once, but he killed them all anyway while bleeding out. He patched it up himself and hobbled back to head quarters. His eye was taken out by some crazy harlot alchemist he was involved with... while undercover or something, in the Hovels. She tried to blow up the place, he tried to blow up her and she took his eye out for his troubles. She tried to flee on a boat after that, but he paddled out and set it on fire. He's a no nonsense kind of guy. I hear he gets on pretty well with the new Captain."

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day One: Heart to Heart
Zepher replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I read in a book once that hedgehogs are dicks, so I guess this is just in your nature to say. I do sample a lot of the food I cook... love me some sausage. But yes, perhaps you now understand why on the first day, I like to vote for those who aren't speaking much. They're no use to anyone, no matter what side they're on. So I try to make them speak. -

Buddy girl. I think I at least look somewhat feminine. I picked out of one of the many who have not said anything. You need to talk. If you are scum and talk, we might catch you, if you are town, you might help us catch scum. That was hardly an adequate response. What do you think of Trisha? Daisy? Other suspects? If you give us a response, I can move on. To Mike, most likely, who is equally saying nothing but still trying to condemn someone. People who do not talk do not help the town. Even Trisha with her useless made up role caused conversation. -

Zepher replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It's also smart for townies to defend bumbling young townies because they are bumbling young townies. I just can't imagine that Trisha's scum team mates, if she had any, would let her be "confused by Fred". Can you honestly see them letting that happen? It may be a ploy (everything may be a ploy) but it seems like a bizarre and unlikely one. Which makes me feel Trisha is town. Not I said feel, no proof what-so-ever, not a strong feeling, but more so than say... my feeling that Penny is town. Or any of the other non-speakers. That's why I feel safer lynching them Day One. I'm just trying to follow what I think it logical. And don't you know it, I have a whole roll of dimes in my pocket! I keep it just to feed you with. I try to keep everyone on the farm happy, fed and clean. Sausages and apple sauce for the humans, carrots for the horses, coins for the hedgehogs. Everyone's happy! -

Zepher replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I think the cases against everyone so far have been purely crap, and so I've not gone along with them. Lying is a strong accusation. Confused and flustered young child is the story I choose to believe. But I forgot that everyone who doesn't agree with Hedgehogs are automatically scum. Oh, why must hedgehogs be so prickly? Here, I'll tell you why I think both Daisy and Trisha have no cases against them: Why I'm not voting Daisy... Why I'm not voting Trisha... So I'm using my vote in a way I think is actually valuable; forcing the town to talk. Everyone in the town. I picked someone at random who hadn't spoken up. You can't expect me to sit idly by while I watch the town make decisions I think are bad. -

Well, that certainly sets us back on actions for the first day... but at least it got people talking. -
"Arthur, weren't it? Those wanted posters? Ah, who knows what the Town Watch gets up to. They aren't folks I've ever seen before. And I've seen lots of folks, believe you me! Zee, Zander... what's that other one? Lots of Z names. Weird stuff. Don't know too many Z names. Court of Demons too. Ha! Fools will be fools, my friend. I'm just waiting here until my own little ordeal blows over. The city can be a dangerous place for those of us who aren't careful. Anywho, that Sergeant One-Leg... he's a tough fellow. He'll get them or die trying. He and that Patricia are the only ones who ever brought me in on account of anything, and Gurnam bought me out once. But, yeah, point is, I don't know if Heroica will have to worry her pretty little head about those folks. Town Watch ain't good, but Sergeant Bennetton will get them. I hear he's a friend of Heroica, too."

I'm sorry, I keep forgetting. Is this really the second time? I've only seen it once. I'll respond very shortly!

Heartlake Heartbreak - Day One: Heart to Heart
Zepher replied to Darkdragon's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
A few thoughts on the past few discussion topics. Sorry, I've been lost in my books, because I finished breakfast, and now I've got to start lunch. But I should probably say what I think of the situation first. Two scum teams - it's very possible, but I'm inclined to agree with Shadell in saying that I think the two horse deaths were just a way of showing that things were unlikely to end, and that maybe there would be more murders. Or perhaps there is a SK. I'm not saying there isn't two scum teams, I'm just saying that's flimsy evidence that there is. I apologize, Mr. Hedgehog, for not being analytical the first or second times that I spoke up. Nothing wrong with playing games every once in a while before anyone really starts sharing ideas! BAWK! Oh my, where'd that come from? On the lie detector... here's my thinking on the topic. Poppycock. It's ridiculous. I think someone else also got caught up playing games and then got lost in themselves. Trish was probably just making jokes as Trish is apt to do, and then when a spotlight was shone on her, she panicked. She is fairly young, and panicking is possible. Or, perhaps she really does have an action, and being young though it best to share with everyone. Maybe she thought she was "subtly hinting" at an action, and then everyone caught it so she just came out and said it. Look, being young isn't a GREAT excuse in life for making dumb mistakes... but it's certainly an excuse. On top of that, if she was scum and tried to pull this move, surely there would be older scummy people who would tell her to not do it! Don't you think? This looks like no one told her to not draw a ridiculous amount of attention to herself. She looks, to me, like a crazy uninformed little girl. Just to be safe: I am aligned with the town. I say we vote off someone who has not actually assisted the town in any way. Scum often try to fly under the radar early in... my dreams... and worse comes to worse we lose a town member not very devoted to the town. Vote: Penny (VolcanicPanik). I picked someone who has given short responses with little input. There are many of you, I just picked one. If she speaks up and offers an opinion, I'll move on to the next of you. I'm not a huge fan of voting the first day, but I'm a less huge fan of penalty votes, and if we don't vote, we get those. So I'll use the votes to get some people to speak up. -
Boomingham grumbles as he drags himself off of a table. Barty zips around him. The Hall is getting crowded once more. A new quest has popped up while he's been asleep. He sags off of his chair and lumbers over to it sleepily. He blinks often and covers his eye. "You see what drinking does to you?!" his little pest quips. Boomingham hardly has the energy to swat the little pest, but he tries his best. "A new quest. Eh, I think it's time I head out. No rest for the wicked, right Barty? Besides, a priest. That ought to be a string I can pull later." Boomingham signs up for Quest 54. He then makes his way over to Atramor. "I'm heading out, boy-o. Got to make sure Servus will know to buy food and water in case I go on a quest. Can't have him dying on me while I'm away. I hope he likes the city. Anyway, came to say good bye. Figured this may be the last time I see you in a while if we're both on our way out. You're... alright, boy. You've got a good head on your shoulders, at least. Hope it stays there. Next time we meet, just remember who's in charge. Tell Nyx good bye for me if you see her. I'll miss that gal." Boomingham pats Atramor forcibly on the back before throwing open the double doors and trudging our of the hall. Barty stares down Atramor with loathing, and then his chicken with an even more intense form of disgust, and floats after his charge.
