  1. Boomingham is all about forward movement. I collect things. Giving away something, even something virtual, is difficult for me, but I don't think it would be for Boomingham, and they had outlived their usefulness.
  2. I have not slept in 31 hours. Second to Last Week of Classes + Mafia = a great time... but very little sleep for poor Zepher. Also, DD, just wanted to compliment you on a great game so far! The pictures look so goofy and cute and fun with the different types of figures and animals. I love it. I always forget how much I miss Mafia when I'm not playing.
  3. That's it, no more pennies for you, mister.
  4. Yes, perhaps I should also know what this black hat deal is? I don't recall wearing one... but then again, Daisy didn't know about her glasses. I have so much work to do, I sometimes forget which cloths I own. Though if you had a steal, are you passing along this information from another? Or are we reading into what should have been a joke?
  5. Then quite frankly you need to calm down. I still have faith that you could potentially be town, but if that's true you need to help us sort this out, not attack Mike and Fred at every turn. Fred might disagree with you at every turn, but that doesn't mean that you need to insult him. Hell, doesn't mean you even need to respond to him specifically. Get your opinions out there, and others may listen. You don't need to convince him that you're town, you need to convince a majority of us that you are. This crisis can be solved with kinder words, simple and easy. So, again editing out anger, you think the reason the glasses came up was because you were watching the Hedgehog last night, which was your lunch. This is a possible theory that I could see as true and actually suggested earlier: lunches steal lunches and not actions, so could lunches possibly also only hint at lunches and not actions? Is that what you think the case is? Amy clearly thinks that's a possibility as well. A suggestion I always make to the accused is to share their suspects publicly. It helps us all, no matter what side they show up. And please comply with the rest of us for a change us pace, and actually do something we've requested. A way to test how the lunch flavor cop works - did anyone happen to use a flavor cop lunch on anyone other than Daisy? If so, did you get a result that indicated one of the known lunches, or rather something that seemed to indicate a normal action? You can share what it was but NOT who you targeted, so that we can get a general feel for it.
  6. Mike, thank you for the insight that Daisy doesn't sit right with you. We will certainly fold that in with the rest of our actual investigation. Daisy, stop pretending that Fred made up his action and results. We have his action and its results confirmed by Amy, and then the action and its name confirmed AGAIN by Mike. This evidence is far from damning, but you're going to end up dead if you continue to deny that the evidence exists. Fred could easily be scum using his TRUE results to get a townie lynched, but what we know for sure is that he is NOT lying to us at this point, so if you really are town, work with the town and stop fighting us.
  7. Forgive me if I fail to find Trisha as the most reputable source for the EXACT effects of an action. I doubt we'd get little hints towards allegiance, but rather a weak role cop. And PLEASE clarify, especially if you're town. What makes the Hedgehog town? If you show up town tomorrow, if lynched, of course, and somehow managed to confirm him, that would be EXTREMELY useful. But that claim you made doesn't help you. And, as to why I'd vote for you if it came down to it... But, as Fred said, we're still very early in the day, so chances are high that we'll at least discuss something else before we vote.
  8. Fred: If I wasn't relying on my previous dreams at all, how would I know to love you so much... and rejoice in your return after so many dreams with you missing in them! On a more serious note: I don't think that she ever really did believe in the lie detector. I think you're underestimating how opposed she is to certain ideas, and how stubborn she can be about them. I also can imagine her not wanting to give any information to you and admitting she were watcher... though going public kind of blows holes in that, so who knows. But point is, I can imagine her being cautious with telling you anything, especially in private. Can't you? Only you know if you're town or scum, don't forget it. Even investigations can be misleading sometimes, so people will never ever trust each other fully. It's tough for her to admit to her most vehement opposer on the second day that she's a watcher, if that is the case. Maybe Oscar was right in saying I'm wishy-washy. I think I just hate lynching people unless I'm certain, and I can see so many other possibilities all the time. And I absolutely, as stated before, believe that lunches are assigned to both teams, so agree that proves nothing either way. Shadell: I was waiting for you to speak up. I've got access to the kitchens, so if you ever need some more sugarcubes, or someone to eat them, just call my name! I'm with you on most of what you're saying (a dream where Shadell, Oscar, Fred all agree is bound to be a whacky one). The lacking glass is strange for a watcher... but maybe it indicates a weak watcher role in some way? Or could it perhaps even just be a reference to her lunch? If lunches steal other lunches, what's to say they don't also show what type of lunch the other people have? Again, just throwing out alternatives. I agree if she were framed, there would have been something scummy instead (does this mean any potential godfather [if he's out there] would also not be found by these flavor cops? food for thought). But doesn't "framer" seem WAY too on the nose? That's NO DOUBT a scum action, and if there are... what, let's guess at about 4 or 5 of these flavor cop lunches... doesn't that seem like it would be unbalanced and not included? I know, I know, Oscar. I'm all over the place, I'm too wishy-washy. I just brainstorm out loud, I suppose. I really think I have a phobia of lynching people I'm not sure of. I'd like to say in previous dreams it worked out like it did yesterday, but I can't say that it always does. I generally just miss big votes. Even with all my devil's advocate, I agree that right now Daisy is by far the best lead we have, and if voting opened right now, I would probably vote for her. If not Sara or Katie or Amy or Wild Dragon. SPEAK UP.
  9. That's something I swore to never do, but Arthur was talking to him and Boomingham really needed that gold. Oh well, I kept it brief and hopefully humorous.
  10. "Everyman? Strange name if I've ever heard one," Boomingham comments to Barty as the duo sets foot in the market. Boomingham walks through the market, dumping his potion (2 gold), grand tonic (15 gold), pickaxe (10 gold) and, after a few seconds of staring at it, his Shadeuax Shield (50 gold). "It's served me well, smithy. Melt it down into something nice." This brings his gold up to (70+79+50+15+10+2=147) 226 gold. "Care to do me a few more favors? I'll give you 50 gold to take the opal out of Shiver, and then I'll have you melt down her down." Boomingham passes over Shiver (+110 gold), the blade he won from the Orc leader. It was a good memory... but Scupperer would serve the same purpose, and that blade always seemed to draw more blood. The Smith hands him some gold for the blade, and then the gem, which Boomingham pockets. (226+[110-50=60]=286). Boomingham next plops the King of the Desert onto the table. It had been a faithful blade, and slain more than one of his foes. He wasn't sure if it was true or not, but in his head, it had even taken the life of Bluehood. He sighed once. "The gems from this one too, and then melt it on down. Make sure she becomes something beautiful, Anwyl. That's an order. I know you don't take them, but it's one just the same. If you don't mind, plant that amethyst in Scupperer." The smith does his job, and returns the unused gems to Boomingham. (286+[90-200=-110]=176]. Boomingham next makes his way over to Fabian's. He plops the Dress Uniform onto the stall. "Howdy there, my good sir. Last time we talked, you offered me 75 gold for this uniform. Turns out my funds are a little tight, so I'd actually like to take you up on that offer. I haven't even touched the thing since last you saw it, so I think the value should be about the same.. though I'm still afraid you're practically stealing from me. If you want to give me a bit of extra gold for it... even just ten gold, I certainly wouldn't be complaining. Either way, you'll be happy to know that once more the gold will be plopping back into your fat pockets. I'll be taking a pair of Heavy Armor off your hands." Boomingham and Fabian exchange their wares and Boomingham inhales deeply, slipping on his armor. (176+[75-230]=21). "I tell you Barty, I feel better and better every day. One day, the world will know Lord Lawrence Boomingham, and they will love and fear him, and always, always remember him. Now, let's go get some old priest's cloak. Onwards and upwards, my friend. Onwards and upwards." "I don't think you've ever called me friend before..." "Slip of tongue, I'm sure. Onward and upwards, pest. Onwards and upwards." "Onwards and upwards." The pair set off. OoC: Quoted for reference! I'm sorry I breezed through, Sandy, I just wanted to be ready for tomorrow. PLEASE have the shopkeepers respond to Boomingham if you want, even if it's just snide comments behind his back. I love your NPCs and would have loved to really interact with them.
  11. "Well, I'm trying to improve my wardrobe over-all, and I think I've got my eye on something that will replace it quite nicely. Thank you, Arthur. I'll certainly keep you in my prayers." "As if you have any." "Now, now, don't embarrass me in front of my friends. Hoke, best of luck out there. I hope your blade isn't too rusty from your rest. And you, what was your name?" "Johnny Everyman, don't you know? And you?" "Lord Lawrence Boomingham of the Lost Kingdom. Well, best of luck to you too, Johnny. Keep an eye on these magic users. Hope you enjoy Heroica." Boomingham pats Arthur on the back and sets out towards the market. "Boomingham? What a strange name! Ha!" Johnny chortles after Boomingham's left. "He could use a work out, I'll tell you that! Am I right, or am I right? Ha!"
  12. Are you two out of steam yet? I can promise you, it's starting to bore the rest of us. Fred, thank you for the information on the glasses. In case anyone wants to skip all the insults from both sides, the vital information is that Fred found black-framed glasses with no glass in them in Daisy's room. Or so Fred says. I personally can't imagine him lying about that (why would he?), but in the interest of being somewhat objective, we have only Fred's word for this (unless someone with a similar lunch happened to use it on Daisy and found the same thing?). What does this mean? I don't know. Personally, I'd have to guess that it correlates somehow to watching or looking or something of that nature. Fred seems to, according to Daisy, mind you, claim that these glasses prove in some way, shape or form that Daisy is scum. Fred himself suggests that they indicate a watcher role... but seems to have retracted that now that she's brought it into the open. I know that summarizing is generally viewed as unhelpful, but I thought I might save everyone the pain of reading the above insult flinging match. So, I will also postulate! I think that the glasses could mean a number of things. I don't think they indicate an alignment. If there are more than one lunches out there with this ability to get a "flavor clue" I can't imagine that they would point to alignment, or the scum would have the tables tipped impossibly against them. I think they MUST indicate a role, and believe most everyone will agree with me on that. So, here are my theories. a) Daisy is a watcher of some sort, or an investigator b) Daisy is a FRAMER for the scum, or a scum role cop of some sort. Those are the two most logical to me. It could also mean she was framed... but I HIGLY doubt that, and that Fred would see that with his lunch. So, what it comes down to is if you think Daisy is acting scummy or not. Would a scum bring this much attention to themselves from one small accusation? Possibly if they panic, but I still find it a little hard to believe. The smarter choice would have been to simply play it off, or even agree to being the town watcher in private to Fred when he suggested that possibility. Would have at least saved them a day or two. But that's me once more expecting the best out of our opponents. It's possible that they just panicked. Fred, do you think this evidence is damning in anyway, as just the evidence. Try to clear your head and think in an impersonal manner, the town could really use it. Disregarding the angry messages you and Daisy have exchanged over on the other side of the fence, what do you objectively believe that the glasses mean? I ask you to disregard them only because in my dreams Daisy is ALWAYS angry, be she town or scum. It will be easier if we focus on the evidence you've bought to light. I'd still like to hear from quieter members.
  13. Barty zips around high up in the air as Boomingham makes his way down the streets of Eubric, having finished up his instructions to Sevrus. The little angel pops his head into the Hall and reports to Boomingham that he has been selected for another quest. "Cathedral of Commerce. Sounds like a good time. Perhaps a little gold changing before we go there. Care to stop by the market, you little pest?" "There are things in life worth more than gold." "Yeah yeah. I'm working on it. You keep trying to learn too." Boomingham exits the hall and makes his way towards the market. On the way he hears the clatter of weapons and pokes his head in the arena. Skrall and Thothwick are locked in combat. Boomingham gives an encourging wink to Thothwick before glancing around. Hespots the young mage, Arthur, his pockets filled with gold, standing next to Hoke and a roguish man Boomingham doesn't recognize. Boomingham grins and saunters over. "Hello, boy-o. Long time no see. I've got a favor to ask you, if you don't mind. Seems I'm headed off to another quest, and I'm dangerously low on gold. I need to be able to provide for my party... so, how's about you help an old war buddy out. I can maybe do something in return... perhaps loan you this scroll of mine for 200 gold, and then when I get the money I'll buy it back off of you? The monocle could go on loan too, though can't say I see you wanting it what with your two perfectly good eyes and those lens you've got on them already."
  14. I'd also like to hear more from Sara, who gave these astonishing insights yesterday: I'd feel bad repeating EVERYTHING she said yesterday if there was more of it. She also never seemed to come back in to give her thoughts on the "answers" she demanded of Trisha. Also note that she was the ninth vote... middle of the pack... very hidden. I'm just pointing out those of us who have not talked. Not even accusing them... just hoping to get something more out of their mouths. Anything to share, Sara? Amy, you were very quiet yesterday as well, though you seemed to at least share thoughts beyond a hasty vote. One of you could be getting my "please talk more" vote instead of Penny today (who at least told us that her lunch was stolen). Unless of course something more attractive comes up. Oh, and I nearly forgot to make breakfast! Any requests, Mr. Hedgehog? Sautéed quarters? Oh, and look, Sara spoke up while I was composing my thoughts! Does anyone think there's any useful insight there?
  15. Say it ain't so! It's like hearing that Santa's not real. And yes, after Nerwen's awesome role play with the Rito, I'd love to see her go down that path. Especially because I think it would fit her "aloofness" (pun or not, you decide!).
  16. Yes, yes, I know, but there's really no definitive way to prove it through debate unless someone steps forward and claims to either a) have found a day killer (awesome!), b) admit to being a day killer (awesome if they're the SK, which is again the only possible day killer I think) or c) admit to having a day action such as day protection (not so awesome, please keep this under wraps if you exist). I'm just hoping we don't waste time on debating it, because I don't think that us discussing it will prove it one way or another. That being said, I did state I think they're a SK, but there's no point prolonging that discussion.
  17. Again, without being too closed to conversation, I think the best way to see if it was an act of God or not is to wait a few hours and see if anyone drops dead around lunch time. There's no real way to prove it one way or another until then.
  18. I strongly believe that we would have been told if God knocked someone off. I also agree Zara makes no sense as a kill for either a vig or the scum, so that leaves a day SK. Time will tell... this debate should be over in a few hours, when someone either dies, or doesn't die. It may be gruesome, but it's no doubt the best way to see if it's a one time deal or not. So close to participating and giving thoughts. Thank you for coming forth with information, though. I'm really not only trying to light a fire under your megablocks, but all of those who seem to give... well, next to no input. I'd particularly like to hear from Mike after his less than satisfactory vote reasoning yesterday. And perhaps all those who didn't get a chance to vote. We're looking into Jane, I agree that I'd like to hear from her as well. Sounds very promising. It will at least give us something to discuss. And we NEED town discussing. As for the lunch debate, I too agree that they were most likely assigned at random. It seems much simpler that way, and nothing we've heard about any of the lunches indicates that they'd be more useful to one side as opposed to the other, right? One that steals could be useful to both town (taking lunches from scum) and scum (taking lunches from town). What is the other one? A watcher (is that what Daisy is claiming?) Also useful to both sides. I don't know how much reliance we can put in certain types of lunches outright being given to one side as opposed to the other.
  19. It's because Sandy is just too damn smart. How, how does he reference Faust and Gangnam style back-to-back so flawlessly?!
  20. I think most people understand that, but its still daunting to restart. Minstrel in particular, has a whole new weapon type, so it will take a brave player to play that. I doubt we'll see them for a long time. Not that I don't love them, just saying it may be super long before we see them.
  21. Quest 38 Bal - Bugbear - Heroica Bal is a bugbear that was a part of the party that quested with Wren into the Valley of Peace. He is a brave member of the group, and seems willing to give his life for his allies and friends. He wishes to one day have a song written about him. Alive, Location Unknown Last General of Ennon - Human/Possessed Human/God - No Allegiance The Gray Wizard - Human(?) - Heroica The Gray Wizard was one of the many people to venture into the Valley of Peace with Wren. He was the party leader. He seems to have been a mentor to many members of the party, such as Wren, Sasha and Triad. He was on the quest with Wren and Roderick when they entered the Temple of Zoot in the sewers, though he himself didn't go in. The Gray Wizard seems to be extremely opposed to Wren and Roderick's attempts, and will stop at nothing to stop them, though he still clearly bears them both love. Alive, Location Unkown Johnny Everyman - Human - No Allegiance A fast speaking scum of Eubric. Johnny is Felton, Hans, Poletad, and McColt's contact in Eubric. He is equally well versed in gossip as Scheherazade, though he uses it to make a quick buck. Johnny's morals are a little questionable, seeming equal parts ally to Heroica, bounty hunter, gossip, contact set-up, and petty thief. He doesn't seem confined to any job. Johnny Everyman is known to frequent the Hall on occasion, though it's generally to hide after committing a crime. Alive, In Eubric McColt - Human - Haddon Guard McColt is the Head Guard of the city of Haddon, and the third member of his family to serve (his grandfather and father served before him). He is a practical, straight-forward, honest man who doesn't understand magic or trickery. His view of the world is simple - there is the right thing to do, and there is the wrong thing to do. McColt fought against the heroes and with the true Felton until Wren's clone was revealed, and he then recruited the heroes to help crush the rebellion. He led the heroes out of the city and thanked them on behalf of the Guard. After the events of Haddon, McColt decided to see the world. He eventually ran into a man who told him the tale of the Lost Party and the Valley of Peace. McColt hired a group of heroes to investigate with him. McColt did not bring a weapon into the Valley because he believed it to be holy ground, albeit tainted holy ground. Alive, Whereabouts Unknown Sir Roderick Hinckwell - Human - Heroica/None Roderick Hinckwell was a young member of the Hinckwell family. On a previous Quest he and Wren both received visions from Zoot. He hopes to one day summon Zoot to Olegia to strike him down, and will sacrifice any member of the party to achieve this goal. He is eventually possessed by the Shard of Ennoc (looking for a new host) and struck down by the heroes of Heroica. He is highly disillusioned. Sasha and he previously seemed to have a relationship of some sorts, but his obsession with destroying Zoot drove a wedge between them. Dead Triad - Acerpusculum - Heroica Triad is a Acerpusculum, an orphan named after the park she was found in. She believes in balance and chaos, and appears to be very good friends with Lady Wren, though she knows that they most stop her at any cost. In the Valley of Peace Triad was the victim of the first Chaos Beast that Wren ever created, on Roderick's behest. She retreated into herself and the "collective Acerpusculum memory" keeping herself alive through great physical abuse for many years. like all Acerpusculum, Traid speaks in the collective "we" and believes that everyone earns their own fate through their actions. She respects people who understand themselves, and is an incredibly apt warrior. Alive, Location Unknown Sasha - Human - Heroica Lady Wren - Human - Wren/Zoot Wren is a worshiper of Chaos and plans to take power from the God Zoot. She is known to control "Chaos Beasts". Once, while still a member of Heroica, she defeated a young Skrall. Her first run in with the Heroes of the Hall was at an Arena, somewhere in the High Kingdoms, in which she forced the heroes to fight each other and eventually kill the head of the games, Draco. She fled, and was later found in the town of Haddon. In Haddon she tricked Felton and Hans into thinking that the Rebels were the side they should support, though in fact the Guards of the town were in the right. When the real Felton was separated from Hans and figured out that the Guards were clearly in the right, she created a copy of Felton to string along the heroes. Though the heroes eventually caught the Fake Felton and correctly sided with the Guards to win the war, the damage was done, as Wren did not care who won, just that it was an even enough match to cost both sides lives. She also explained that she does not think the world is “good” or “evil” and that Chaos reigns. She knows what she does hurts others, but she explains they’ll be hurt either way, so she may as well profit. She then flees. In Dastan, Wren backed the Assassins. She worked alongside them and the Lion Knights to upset power, though she made clear to Atramor, Hans, and Felton that she has other motives. She stole the Spiritus Intendere, a device designed to submit spirits to her will. She then assisted in the murder of U’Stus, and later came to the heroes and asked them kill the Chimera. She kidnapped Sphinx, and attempted, in the Battle of Dastan, to make off with Ella, though she was prevented. She then fled. In the Valley of Peace, the heroes watched a young Wren in a series of flashbacks. The Valley of Peace was Wren’s final quest with Heroica. She was seen systematically betraying her party members at the behest of Roderick Hinckwell, a Knight. It was eventually revealed that she and Roderick, and the Gray Wizard, discovered a Temple of Zoot. She and Roderick received visions from the God. Wren discovered the beauty of Chaos, though she leads Roderick to believe that she too wished to end it and replace it with Order. After the entire party is sealed away, Wren killed Roderick, but found herself no match for the Last General. She pleaded for her life, which he gave her. After the heroes killed the General in the present, Wren returned and took the Amulet of Gods. She then promised to see them soon and left once more. Alive and Wanted Cameos Sir Earl Poletad Felton Hans
