  1. He also has a black helmet, and the other ones have silver ones... so, ya know... And I like a fair amount of my sets too (they've gotten better from quest to quest), but sometimes when you're in a park and you don't have barely any green pieces, you just have to cheat it. EDIT: Christmas festivities run wild, but there will be an update by the end of the night!
  2. S'okay! We all take off the Holidays, and while I wish it could be a happy reasons, if you need a break to go deal with life, that's understandable! Holidays are the holidays. The quest will be slow until the 28th, but still chugging along! The pictures have been added! Everyone go and appreciate how I cheated not making a real set.
  3. It still saves your party 6 hits in the current battle, and made you 200 gold... not bad by most standards .
  4. Oh you, know, we just make it up as we go along. Or, you know, we read the rules.
  5. Fixed!!
  6. Another rule confirmation: does Mystic Knights use the element selected, or a random one available to them? I took the wording of spell spin to mean a random one available to them, but if not (and in this case I do admit I may be reading it wrong), then I'll fix it. Sorry, first time hosting a Mystic Knight!
  7. Boomingham turns to his two companions. "I'm not particularly good with the species of Eubric, are either of you? Who might leave that sort of stench? A dwarf, perhaps? An Ogre? Not a Rockling, right? I've only seen them as fairly clean. Should we head to the sewers, do you suppose?" Boomingham's brow furrows. "Unless... you don't suppose it was an undead, do you? I've heard they've been around... though I've only run into few in other cities in lands far away, and there the desert had stripped them of nearly all their flesh and left only parched bone."
  8. It affects their first hit of the following round. The best of both world's.
  9. You can be darn sure petrifying special damages are coming your way! I never understand why people don't stock up more on remedies... Ah, let them have their gold related fun. The poor classes can remain the poor class. We've already established that the hero's sacks MUST be magical, they carry around an outrageous number of items. EDIT: I love that definition of stunned. Pop it in the FAQ, Sanders! It actually helps promotes strategizing and a smart BO, and makes Sorcerer's less hated by a certain QM!!
  10. OoC: Yeah. I actually screwed up the first time too, Bennetton should have dealt +1 damage before multipliers because there's one other guard in the fight, so I've put that statistic in! Forgetting to use their battle styles. And right you are, you haven't gotten a hit yet, but it must still be reflecting Leojad!
  11. "I don't recall being that much of a terror. Perhaps you're thinking of my friends. I'm in much better company this time around," Boomingham says, squeezing off a secretive wink to Ellaria and Harkenshire. "I'm sure you were the most terrifying of the lot." "Don't mind my little friend. I've come not as a customer, but to rectify a problem. A priest of Mercutio picked up a robe here recently, only problem being it wasn't his. You swapped his and someone else's by accident." Boomingham holds up the robe. "Know who this might belong to?"
  12. If Sandy can break Barty "The Rock" Docken, I'm sure I can break Arthur "The Stunning Stunner" Regulus. Like I said, this is just a warm up battle to introduce the concept of the Spires. After this... things get MUCH more challenging.
  13. Well, we'll wait and see. For the time being, you should be able to plan the next round even if that is the case, because none of you got that hurt even if they aren't stunned! Whenever I'm not sure I follow the letter of the law, and it specifically says the next round, so that's what I'm going with for the time being. If that's not the case, I'm probably going to look for a way to nerf it, because two rounds of a battle perfectly safe of harm is like... Guardian Angel x2 + gold. Actually, come to think of it, right now it is Guardian Angel + gold exactly...
  14. Yes, but that weapons stuns them immediately, this description specific says "stuns them for the next round". It's the rules of my quest - you use the wording of the rules to try to best me, I use them exactly as written. Though the final call is Sandy's, so if she says otherwise, then it's otherwise. I can't imagine it is though, a shield that makes every enemy ineffective for two whole rounds seems largely unlikely.
  15. The description says specifically that it stuns them all the following round....
  16. I've got one hell of a strong party. Good thing I've got some strong enemies coming up. Enjoy the warm up battle while it lasts.

  19. OoC: Updated Dyric's gold (-400) and also fixed Hoke's artifacts! I am also going to assume that the hexed effect will not be AoE (the Cat-o-Nine says that it divides damage, not effect, so I think it would POISON everyone, but not hex everyone). Round One Battle of The Stone Gardens Arthur v. Master Chaos Beast - Hit Damage ([30*2]-5=55) (-1 ether) Dyric v. Chaos Beast D - Damage Damage (32/2=16) Hans v. The Chaos Beasts and heroes trade blows. Arthur fires off a shot, but Dyric is unable to as a Chaos Beast sweeps his hammer down on the assassin. The Chaos Beast fighting Hans stabs each and every member of the party. Alexis and Hoke shoot beams of light, that successfully hit their targets, but blind Nyx, who stumbles backwards as an axe gashes open her leg. Skrall, Haldor and Cronk lead a successful charge, and even Bennetton scores a hit, though Gnash is knocked roghly on the helmet and falls into the mud. Thothwick narrowly escapes a slash by hiding behind one of the stone pillars. He hears the axe meant for him smash into the rock in front of him. Poletad prays, and the entire party feels slightly restored. 20. Quest 39... I think? Guffington's quest. Anyway, they allow for an extra turn when one roll's misses (the reroll of a miss is a marksman's monocle, which Scuba invented ). It allows for an extra action the following round! So a hastened hero would get THREE turns the following round.
  21. He would be dealing dark attacks, and would therefore be no use to the heroes. And thank you! I hope the crowd thins out a little by the time you're ready to join us.
  22. This is supposed to be an easy intro battle. And no thunderstorms ya jerk! I don't want to have to edit any pictures any more than I have to.
  23. WBD, as Cronk is away, I'm asking you to pick his action/McColt's action, and post the Battle Order! Pandora, if you feel like doing it and WBD has not yet, go for it!
  24. Clunky as promised!! IT WILL IMPROVE AS YOU ALL KNOW! Poletad's shield added, Hans is Orderly, Master of Chaos Beasts Immune to Instant Kill (apologize for not adding this, negative effect him to death though). Alexis' artifacts updated, but that means she can't perform the action she just chose to do. Cronk is away until the 24th, Skrall or Nyx, pick his action/the Battle Order.
  25. All classes are outlined in this post! I will post that link at the beginning of each battle from now on! I have also corrected Alexis' gear. Thank you, and sorry! Hoke, just say which items you wish have equipped at the beginning of the battle, it will not cost you a turn! The NPCs, as always in a Zepher Quest, will act of their own accord. They will ALMOST ALWAYS honor suggestions, but are not technically controlled by anyone. This is done so that (a) if there is a specific thing they would do as a character, they will do it, and (b) the PL is NOT the only one who has a say in what they do. The exception is McColt, who WILL do EXACTLY what the PL tells him to.
