You give them enough to do, and people are generally okay with it. I would also like to take back my plea for overkill gloves. I'd miss counterstriking too much, and I keep my idea that part of the perk of going on a quest is being the only person (people) who get access to the cool shops there. Now, if anyone can find me some overkill boots at a reasonable price....

I might be willing to purchase the overkill gloves off someone... if they mark they haggle for them, and then sell them to me at the haggled price. I've never done this before (asking others to buy stuff for you from other quests seems sort of lame sometimes) but Boomingham is GREEDY and it's hard to make him so without an item that gains him money.

Yeah, some QMs just run quicker quests than others. WBD and Sandy and Scuba are all fantastic, and I LOVE questing under them (keep signing up), but Endgame and Bd fit more battles in because they update way more regularly. CMP was a quick battle runner too (if another CMP quest goes up, I'll be there hopefully). Arthur is a rogue variant now. They will ALWAYS have more gold than anyone else.

Oh absolutely it's useful, and quick one off jokes don't bother me either. It's whole conversations, post after post, that bother me, or lengthy explanation of what your character wants. The ones about who everyone should target are often in OoC too, which confuses me because they could just as easily be in character, unless for some reason you want your character to be notoriously bad at battle planning. Yeah, that's a great room! Most heroes live in inns and not in the Hall, because it turns out to be the way things work according to Sandy, but the room looks incredible, has great character, and smart building technique!! Publish it in it's own topic elsewhere on the site and see what people say! And yeah, RS, most of my building time has to go into sets currently. And I did say it could be about anything, BD. Oh, and I absolutely want to Quest under Sandy again (my first quest was by him, and I haven't gotten to go back yet ) and BD (Boomingham has got to go to war) AND Etzel (great quests, great sets, and if it's Paladins... I'd be more than happy to have Boomingham meet some of them. I think he needs to in order to further his relationship with Barty). And of course there are even more QMs I want to get to play with... so much to do, so little time. I'd be interested to see a stats on which player has been on the most quests with which QM.

I already got to host you, but I do look forward to questing with you someday, hopefully. I'd also really like to finish a quest with CMP and Skrall, and quest alongside Tesni again. Hoke, Thothwick... Cinna and I had a really really nice moment a while back I'd love to build on. And then there are some people that Boomingham has never met and would also be great company! He and Sarge are similar in some ways, might be fun. And he and Maurice would flourish together, no doubt, due to their Paladin styles clashing. Nerwen and he could REALLY have something interesting too, I think. And of course Cronk. I'm dying to play alongside or host Pretzel. Scuba created it. Nyx owns it (poor Nyx always gets nixed) and it is on loan to Alexis. It's not that complex... all summons are hastened. That's it. Pretty straight forward, easy to remember, etc. But as a general rule, yes, fellow QMS, PLEASE check with Sandy. When you don't I hate QMing. Because there's enough unique stuff out there already. REUSE SOME OF IT. Gems, more scrolls, grating stones, gold gold gold. All great drops. I try to only create three to four unique items per quest, and even then that's on long quests. MYTRIL SHARDS are AWESOME.
