I think the vote for mayor is more a mechanic to get us to start talking. The event of a tie vote is, quite frankly, a little unlikely. So I'm not too worried about who we elect to mayor us all. I just want to be their friend! I think that perhaps, if we do have a vig, they might have CHOSEN to not strike last night, because they knew so little. Vigs are, in past experience, a little more conservative than scum/pyscho killers. Of course, that's only if we have a vig. Again, in this situation, the scum's killer is sort of similar to a vig in the sense that they have only half of their team confirmed for them. It is also likely that there was at least a conversion attempt last night- and it very possibly could have gone through. I bring this up only because we are trying to estimate the number of scum- even if there were 5 or 6 to begin with, there could be 6 or 7 now. I think that there are quite few recruitable people. The way def described it sounded like there were a fair number who could be recruited, but as they got picked off/recruited, that's when it would be harder to find people to recruit. So, those are my thoughts on the discussion so far. Grrrrrrr. Anyone want to go play a game of hop scotch or something? I just want us to all get along. -

How now, a nice number of those fellows are taking a snooze right now. And she has arrived... though I'm afraid probably not in the fashion you expected. Don't forget about the Magician... I also agree for voting lurkers, if only for the purpose of getting them to come out and play. I feel like def would really like it if we all said lots and thought lots, so we should totally make the lurkers come and do just that by making them mayor. Though I have so-far been a little put off by the lack of mayoral speeches by our candidates. Doesn't someone want to promise to end the famine?! def didn't give us any food (not even some pills) this time, so I don't know what we're supposed to eat. I mean, sure, now on Day One it might not seem a big deal... but when we have to start eating people.... I have been noting he doesn't fight from the back row. Each time he has been ordered to, he has not had a ">" next to his name, and his damage has been calculated as from the front row. The Dastan Questies could have warned you. At least I've dropped his other "AI Directive" which was "attack most important person". He could have been alternatively wailing down on Zander this whole time. Again, I'm sorry these fights are hard guys, but I'm not straying from the set-up that would have been had you split only two ways. Also, get the frustration out in character!!! I feel bad that you guys are frustrated, so I prefer to see your characters doing it. It's a selfish request, but a request all the same.

The reason I've never been a huge fan of battles being joined is because of the speed in which they'd be fought. They wouldn't have day long pauses like they do on the site... the way the Battle Descriptions read, most battles... even the really long ones like Drakencourt, only take twenty minutes tops.

You'll have to explain that one to me. Not saying it ain't so, but don't know how I was alive long enough to meta-game. Though perhaps we have different definitions of meta-gaming, which I've come to believe. And I did actually meta-game on day one by leaving you and Hincks alive. You hadn't gotten to play in the longest time, I told my team to not kill you. Great game, DarkDragon! Lots of fun while alive, lots of fun to watch while dead. The scum team sort of had the short end of the stick (what was with ALL the investigators?!), but sometimes thats just how the cards fall, may not be a balance issue, may just be how things went. I figured the cult would probably be doing pretty well. I also figured Oscar must be part of it (why wouldn't he be - bulletproofed, he HAD to be converted, it was only smart, and besides, I thought he might make more noise about it if not converted). Janitoring Shadows was unfortunate, because it didn't let the town know there was a cult soon enough. If only they'd killed a cult member... would have been a very different game. Anyway, lots of fun to play and watch and be a part of. I love all my fellow players, look forward to the next one! :thumbup: -
