  1. Sure, if he doesn't mind?
  2. Sorry about that guys, got carried away watching a movie :) Back now if anyone is interested!
  3. I'm up for a dual. Haven't done one yet.
  4. That would be much appreciated Pedro.
  5. Ok, anyone up for playing me in my first duel? Kurtt Halcyon throws down the gauntlet!
  6. Well, thats 2x 6722 Styracosaurus bought off of Bricklink. Now to work on a design for the howdah.
  7. They work VERY well. I think I'm going to have to join you in those purchases KimT!
  8. When I read one of the above posts I got the impression that there was a Farmer Impulse for Kingdoms. Its only when I went back and reread the post and clicked the link that I realised it was for City. Easily done.
  9. Real Time Strategy. Its a genre of video game.
  10. Simply because I have ideas for other characters that I wouldn't mind trying out
  11. The mention of sand green Jedi has given me an awesome idea for a Barabel or Trandoshan Jedi. Pedro, how many duelists can we enter at one time?
  12. I'm hoping we see more cheaper ways of building up a reasonable size force of the new factions. My Crown Knight army needs worthy opponents!
  13. Kurtt Halcyon | Jedi Initiate Health: 5 Force Abilities: Force Push Mastery Abilities: - Bio: Kurtt Halcyon was known as a ruthless Bounty Hunter, one who had no allegiances. Whether for the Republic or Empire, he would take any contract. His family was taken away from him at an early age, murdered in cold blood by a band of mercanaries. However, Kurtt learned that it was no mere mercenary band that had killed his family. His family had been hunted down and slain by Sith Warriors. His parents were planning on turning him over to the Jedi Council for training, as they had forseen great power in him. Unfortunetly for Kurtt, the Sith had forseen it also, and put plans in motion to stop him ever becoming a Jedi. Armed with this new knowledge, Kurtt sought out the reknowned Jedi Master Yyan Sei and asked to be trained. While much older than a typical apprentice, Master Sei sensed the great potential in Kurtt and agreed. Ten years after Kurtt's discovery, he is now a powerful Jedi Apprentice, surely destined for greatness... Duel History: Won: 1 Lost: -
  14. I saw this set back in 2008 and knew I had to get it. Finally managed to pick it up from Legoland Windsor later that year. A great set, and a worthy addition to any Troll army.
  15. Wow, awesome sounding game. I'll be posting a character and playing for sure.
  16. I think thats the general feeling as far as the Trolls go. Look at Tower Raid and the Troll Assault Wagon. I might try and go with a cut down version of the Assault Wagon.
  17. Its a nice idea gogobig, but I'm to much of a Lego puritan to consider having none Lego pieces in my collection I'm afraid! Bear in mind though, Lego have produced minifig scale elephants.
  18. Loving this one! The Emperor's arrival on the Death Star II is one of my favourite scenes from RotJ. This MOC definately captures the feel of the scene for sure. Now lets see it on a hanger scale, with all that SNOT!
  19. Some nice ideas so far folks, keep em coming. Taun Tauns crossed my mind, as well as Crodiles and Dewbacks, the latter being horrifically expensive. I have a Taun Taun, so I'll have a go with him later. I also thought about using the Raptor's from the old Dino themes. They seem reasonably priced on Brinklink, though they may be a tad big. So, it would seem the general consensus of opinion so far is mass infantry and giant trolls over cavalry. I can live with that! :D
  20. Greetings folks, With the news of the new Lego Kingdoms theme, I got out my Crown Knight and Troll armies in anticipation for glorious, cross-theme inter-faction warfare. I've added a bit to my Crown Knights, as it is the larger force of the two, but now turn my attention to my Troll Warriors. As theres an abundance of cavalry for the Crownies, I've been trying to think of steeds that would work for Troll cavalry. Have any of you created units of Troll cavalry, and if so, what mounts have you used, and what accessories? While horses would obviously work, they don't seem to fit in with the theme of the Trolls, at least to me anyway. Or do you view the Trolls as having masses of foot soldiers and giant, lumbering Trolls instead? Your thoughts would be most appreciated. Cheers, Kurtt
  21. I too miss the old 'lift the flap' style Lego boxes. As a kid, you just knew it was a good set if it had a flap :D I will always have a soft spot for the 'thumb punch' style though, as thats what all Lego boxes I've had as a kid had!
  22. This was mine. Had it as a kid and loved it! Auto Workshop
  23. I've got to say, I am loving the look of these castle sets. The new Lion Knight Castle looks fantastic. The tower with the red roof actually has windows! I love the look of the Dragon Knights as well. I have a feeling the golden age of Castle is about to make a spectacular return!
  24. Not sure if this has already been posted, but Atlantis sets are now available from Argos in the UK. Managed to pick up Wreck Raider today. They're not in the catalogue yet, but they are available online, and you can obtain the 7 digit Argos code online and order in store, or reserve online. Seems as though they have the whole first wave in stock.
