I am back from my vacation. Just give me some time to get back into gear, catch up with everything and all that. Anyway, the Greek Islands were gorgeous, did a lot of relaxing under the sun and even went scubadiving for the first time. I deliberately kept myself from even glancing at Eurobricks, to really get into that vacation mood. And it worked! I'm refreshed, re-energized and ready to rumble again! EDIT: And of course Photobucket is down for maintenance today, and not on any of the days I was gone... EDIT 2: Now that Photobucket is back up, I can show you a little taste of what my trip was like.

QM Note: Peeking in to say the weather boost given to darkness DOES affect the Seneschal, since enemy types do not give full immunity to elements. Ie. he should take normal damage from darkness. ;) -
I will be leaving for my two week vacation to Greece in a couple of hours. I will only be able to visit sporadically during that time, but I will be back full time on the 12th of September. Try to keep the place nice and clean for when I come back. I apologize that the update for the Fields of Glory isn't fully ready yet, but you can read the updated rules and challenges from the topic. I've also got a Ji Pei quest and a Bonaparte quest coming up some time in the fall, so that's something to wait for.

Wow, TLG seems to have really hit the jackpot with these minidolls, since this would potentially be the third theme to use them. I'm all for giving girls a variety of choice, too, although this line seems to be close to both Friends (with the "everyday life" sets) and Princesses (with the fantasy setting). We have to see if the similar girl's themes will compete or compliment each other in the end...

Definitely must buys, except maybe for the Ariel set since I've already gotten both of her original sets. Maybe if it had really cool minidolls along with it (such as Ursula ). I absolutely love the idea of getting Elsa's palace, we'll just have to see how well it is executed.

When everyone had dived into the mud, Cinnabar began chanting again. "Minerals of the earth! Oleg's gifts! I give you shape! I give you purpose! I give you life! Bend to my will!" The mud sprayed all over the party, covering them completely. The heroes could feel the sediment moving on their skin and clothes, settling into their shape and forming a crust. "That should do the trick of getting in through the gates. The other golems should not pose a threat to you if you stay clear from the Senechal. He's their leader and the Keeper's wingman, the golems do what he says. Even if it breaks them, sadly. Good luck to all of you! It's been a delightful night!" The heroes returned to the Tower as dawn began to break in the sky, following the three fixed golems in an organized line. It turned out that Cinnabar's magic worked, and they got past the gate without a problem. Inside the walls, the ground was surprisingly covered in neatly cut grass. The party's luck ran short, for the Senechal was standing at the foot of the Tower, with other golems in a formation in front of him. The golems that the party had followed joined the formation, so the heroes had to do the same. "Attention. Here are the tasks for today." It wouldn't be long before the Senechal would spot the odd ones out of the golem army. The entrance to the Tower was just behind the leading golem.
