  1. Hi guys! Me and my boyfriend have been reliving our youth these past months by watching the epic tv-series Buffy the Vampire Slayer from the beginning. I've been itching to make the cast of the series into minifigs, and today I finally got the inspiration to do exactly that. I aimed for accuracy, but also kept the figs strictly purist. Please check them out and let me know what you think!
  2. The hero becomes immune to slowed-effect after equipping the Winged Sandals, so it is impossible for him to have it anymore. The only exception to this is if there's a permanent effect caused by another piece of equipment - in which case the effect is nullified, but not removed.
  3. No, the Decamodifier isn't really needed for the class - you get cards from the Tournament and probably from future quests as well.
  4. Sorry that I haven't been around much lately, I've been sick with a nasty flu. Anyway, welcome to the game, Goliath and Richila! Hope you stick around and become as addicted to this game as the rest of us! The ogre's Aepyornis costume is mind-bogglingly accurate.
  5. I've reviewed the Decamon Drafter job class that WBD pitched last month, and here's my take on it with some adjustments and rephrasing. If WBD is okay with it, I'd like to give out this job class as a reward in the upcoming Decamon Tournament. Your thoughts? Decamon Drafter - These mystical card sharks take the game to a whole new level. ·Additional Health: +9 ·Additional Ether: +6 (+1 per level for classes without base ether) ·Weapons: Drafters wield unassuming weapons like clubs, daggers, throwing weapons wands and whips. They can utilize scrolls. ·Job traits: Decamon Sacrifice - The Decamon Drafter can spend a turn to unsummon one of the summoned monsters in battle to restore health to themselves or one of their party members equal to the summon's level; Decamodifying Expert - The Decamon Drafter can use a Decamodifier to turn enemies with half health into cards, if applicable; Summon - Decamon Drafters can spend 1 ether summon a monster from their deck outside of battle to do their bidding. All summons return to the drafter's deck before the beginning of a battle. ·Battle style: Strategic – Decamon Drafters have the ability to turn cards into friendly monsters to fight by their side. 1.SHIELD: All In – The drafter summons the remainder of their entire deck with monsters of level equal to two times the card's strength at no ether cost. At the end of the next round, all the drafter's summons are returned to the deck – including those summoned before. 2.GREATER WAGERED HIT/GREATER CARD SUMMON: The drafter attacks the target with strength equal to two times their weapon power added to their level and the number of unsummoned Decamon cards in their deck (e.g. WP 15 x 2 + Level 30 + 10 unsummoned Decamon Cards = 70 damage). Optionally, the drafter may turn one of their Decamon Cards into an allied monster of the corresponding element with strength equal to five times the card's strength at the cost of the card's level in ether (see Card Summoning). 3.WAGERED HIT/ CARD SUMMON: The drafter attacks the target with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level and the number of unsummoned Decamon cards in their deck (e.g. WP 15 + Level 30 + 10 Unsummoned Decamon Cards = 55 damage). Optionally, the drafter may turn one of their Decamon Cards into an allied monster of the corresponding element with strength equal to three times the card's strength at the cost of the card's level in ether (see Card Summoning). 4.MEDITATE/ LESSER CARD SUMMON: The Drafter meditates to regain 1 ether. Optionally, the drafter may turn one of their Decamon Cards into an allied monster of the corresponding element with strength equal to the card's strength at the cost of the card's level in ether (see Card Summoning). 5.DAMAGE: The drafter is struck by the opponent's attack. 6.SPECIAL DODGE: The drafter has a 50/50 chance to dodge the opponent's special skill so that it hits the next ally in turn instead, unless the skill hits everybody. CARD SUMMONING: Decamon Drafters can summon monsters from their deck of Decamon Cards to aid them in battle. The monster is ready to attack on the following round after the summoning. The summoned monster’s strength depends on the number on the card as well as the successfulness of the summoning procedure. The element of the monster depends on the card’s type: Aquatic – Water-elemental Dark – Darkness-elemental Electric – Lightning-elemental Ethereal – Non-elemental Fiery – Fire-elemental Flying – Wind-elemental Icy – Ice-elemental Luminous – Light-elemental Plant – Wood-elemental Rock – Earth-elemental The summoned monster can attack one enemy once per round at no cost, as designated by the Decamon Drafter. The summon’s attack does not negate Free Hits. The summon cannot be damaged and it is immune to all effects. The Decamon Drafter can sacrifice a summoned monster to restore health to themselves or one of their allies equal to the monster’s level. The monster is then returned to the deck. All summoned monsters are turned back to cards and returned to the Decamon Drafter’s deck after the battle. However, if the drafter rolls the “All In” skill, all cards are turned into monsters and returned to the deck at the end of the following round.
  6. There is a fire-elemental Gear, which is dropped by the Igniphant that stomps around somewhere in the Fields.
  7. No, the point is that if you first become a Dragoon beyond Level 39, you will get an already hatched and grown dragon as your pet - and the more it has grown before it becomes your pet, the more it distrusts you (ie. the bigger chance for the Shield-skill has to fail).
  8. I intended to make it a bigger plot-point, but somehow slavery just didn't fit the Eubrican way of life as it began to take shape. There are still some orcish slaves left in the city, and I'm going to make a quest about them at some point. Hope Skrall is on board when the time comes!
  9. The two characters can exchange items if they meet at the Hall or in a quest, just like with other players' characters. I apologize for UsernameMDM's outburst. Hope it does not shun you away from joining this game. Sometimes we take this game too seriously, because many of us have been playing it for over 3 years now. It's still meant to be accessible to new players, although I admit the rules can be a handful to learn. The same goes with any RPG, however, and having motivation will get you far.
  10. I think you're double checking blatantly written rules a bit too much, Lind. You can only buy items with GP at the end of your FoG run, no exceptions.
  11. I'll post them when there is enough players available in the Hall again.
  12. I'm not going to post my two quests up yet, since I want there to be enough players for the awesomely cool Halloween Anthology quests. Also, Elphaba will not be appearing this Halloween, but Dain Almight should be ready to put up a new, permanent shop to the Marketplace soon. Also also, the Grogmas Event for this year will be a Decamon Tournament. And I promise it won't last until April this time.
  13. ~A new quest has been posted on the Quest Board (#118 by Flipz)! ~ "By Sylvania, it's been over a year", Ellaria counted. She then told Althior all about her adventures after the said night at the theater, explaining her newfound confidence. "The dresses and robes did start to get too much of a burden on the road, you're right. This attire is much more adventurer-friendly, hehe." After chatting with Althior and Hybros for a good while, Ellaria decided to call it a night. Before she left, she checked the Quest Board and saw a new quest posted on it. She then inscribed her signature under Quest#118 as well, and waved her friends goodbye as she left through the door. OoC: I actually have a heavy preference for Flipz's quest, because I want Ellaria to become an Alchemist. If it's not possible to take her in to that quest, though, I fully understand.
  14. ~A new quest has been posted on the Quest Board (#117 by Kintobor)!~ Ellaria returned to Heroica Hall after a full day of sweeping cobwebs and mopping mousedung from her house. She would have loved if there was someone to look after it while she was gone on quests, but she didn't have enough gold to hire anyone, and all her friends were in Heroica themselves. She wondered how they fared, her old companions... Lawrence, Alexis, Tesni, Atramor, Haldor, Hoke... Even Tarn, although she knew he had left the organization behind. She then saw one such old companion sitting at a table up at the Saloon with Hybros and a couple of others. She decided to go up and greet Althior as soon as she had checked the Quest Board. Quickly signing her name under quests #116 and #117, she ascended the stairs. "Althior, hey!" she greeted with a big smile. "It's been a long while. You look downright dreadful, if I may say."
  15. "Magnificent! You have yourself a deal, Miss Orc!" Fabian hands over 80 gold to Miderun.
  16. You are right, using items do not negate Free Hits. And if you use a consumable on the party, it would be impossible to target an enemy. From the FAQ: Q: Does using an item such as a bomb or a scroll on an enemy negate its Free Hit? A: No, it does not. Items are not actual attacks, so the enemy is not "locked in a duel" like it is with normal attacks. That's why it is free to attack the heroes at the end of the round.
  17. How ironic - Ellaria hit Level 30 without having access to a single Expert Job Class. That's what you get for being in charge for most of the factions.... Uh, sorry but I couldn't get any long blonde hairstyle to fit the minifig with the green wings.
  18. Cool! She's such a fun character it's nice to see her back! Even though it's a bit late, I can give her a new avatar with her new hair if you like to. It's called playing hard. Don't take this here.
  19. Ellaria kneels in front of Hybros and gives him a long hug. "I know this meant much to you, my dear, innocent Hybros. I did find answers I didn't even think I could find down there. Maybe we can both move on from here, knowing that we have someone looking after us." Ellaria also thanks her employers - without a hug, though - and smiles to Nyx and Skrall. It was time to head to new adventures.
  20. "We shall", Ellaria nods. The sooner they got out of these depths, the better.
  21. "An interesting item you have there, Mr. Whateveryouare. I do have similar products in stock, so I can only offer 50 gold for it."
  22. Game Manager Note: You can't sell anything that doesn't have a set value. For future reference, giving players items that don't have any effects or aren't worth anything is futile. You'd be the one clogging up their inventories in that case.
  23. Ellaria repeats her scroll-casting.
  24. Which shows you know absolutely nothing about how most young girls play. To them, mirroring everyday life in their playing is more typical than facing conflicts or danger - whereas to boys it is usually the opposite. That's why these (and Friends) sets focus on hobbies, shopping, eating, doing make-up, taking care of animals, etc. But hey, at least Merida got to keep her longbow - after they made it glittering gold.
  25. Well, if you read the rule page for the Druid you get your answer. tl;dr: Revive first, heal second.
