  1. I seriously hope you're joking, because if you're not, you have to start respecting other players or get kicked out of this game. Your character is not all-powerful, he can't do whatever to whomever on the lame excuse of being a drunken fool. Without mutual respect, this game isn't going to work. It will crash and burn with shuriken-throwing crusaders.
  2. "Gah!" Ellaria startles back as Atramor accuses her, having momentarily forgotten that they were acting. "Umm, my wife made me! And you just want to be king yourself, oh General, by some clever plot I don't quite get myself either! Let's blame the witches, shall we?"
  3. It's nice that you guys keep on putting all these job classes here for public evaluation, but just to recap, if you actually want to get your class into the game, it needs to fill these following requirements: 1. It must be an expert job class, available at Level 30 upon fulfilling certain requirements. 2. It must be tied to a faction (or a well-known profession). 3. You need to have acted as a Quest Master, so that you have achieved a good understanding about the rules. Then, if all these requirements are filled and you're seriously suggesting your job class to be implemented to the game, PM me with details about how you're planning to implement it. I will then review the job class and either approve it, turn it down, or ask you to make some adjustments. And then maybe you'll one day see your class played by other players - or even yourself.
  4. QM Note: Thank you for the preformat, Flipz! You're making my life so much easier. 5. "Oh, if you insist, dear Atramor..." Ellaria winks.
  6. I'm all for the minifigs and the dragon, so the actual build of this set doesn't bother me to the least. Definitely getting this set for the parts it offers.

  8. "Oh, my mistake... Then it's up to you, Tesni!"
  9. Ellaria whispers back. "When you were beating around the bushes on our way to Bric'lin, the three witches we met said that me, Tesni and Atramor have our parts to play. They spoke of the roles of King, General and Duke. Familiar, yes? I want to try out if we can actually pick our own roles, so I'm naming myself the King, and Atramor as the General, the King's successor. The General must decline, according to the script, and choose the Duke as the successor instead. Tesni would be the Duke, in this case. If we play our parts right, we can probably solve this debacle. And we won't know the consequences until we try it out, anyway..."
  10. Ellaria looks at the others. "I have a feeling we are getting drawn into the cursed play. I guess it's time to play our parts, then..." Ellaria addresses the skeleton. "Thank you, good soldier. I feel my time approaching its end fast, so I will name Atramor as my successor. May he live long and rule justly!" She hopes she was convincing enough...
  11. QM Note: Yes to both. And if you roll Special Damage against Cosmosaur, you will lose all your positive effects. QM Note: It didn't. That was just a remnant of last round I forgot to edit out...
  12. QM Note: I guess I'll just have Nyx attack, since we haven't heard from Pandora... Boomingham meditates to regain ether. Thothwick pricks the Cosmosaur arrogantly, stealing all of the Cosmic Essences it carries. Unfortunately even Barty cannot block the damage done by Chaosaur's aura, and Cosmosaur's aura negates all the damage the heroes did to the monsters. They were in dire need of some extra manpower... The gigantic chef crawls through the doorway, and leads the party to the ballroom, where Captain Patricia and her men are escorting the guests out while the rest of the heroes fight two dinosaurs on the stage. "Uh, you'll do the killing, I'll handle the rest once you've finished." "Go figure!" Phoebe says, rolling her eyes. Lieutenant Serevan spots the newcomers. "Hey, you lot! What took you so long? Go on, help your companions up there - if you have what it takes. It looks like those beasts are serious business." The rest of the heroes can now join the battle if they wish.
  13. No, Yasmar is half goblin, half ogre. I've already made that clear in the quest topic. He has the skin color and big ears of a goblin, and the big size and horns of an ogre. I dare you to imagine what his begetting was like...
  14. Apparently I suck at consistency... Sorry, I don't have any of the knights assembled anymore. You can just look at the existing pictures, can't you?
  15. I owe you an apology. Apparently I can't keep my head straight with what I've said about the rules anymore. But now the final ruling has been listed on the FAQ, so we'll go with that from now on. ... I have to say that it's an odd feeling to read something you've written in the past and completely disagree with it. As you see from the picture I posted to the quest, even Nagure unfortunately can't compare to the massiveness of Yasmar. I've been pondering what to call his subrace. Hobogre? Ogroblin? Oglin? Any other suggestions?
  16. Yes, the SHIELD-skill is less powerful in total, but it's also more useful in all situations. You give some, you get some... It's a done deal, then! I'll notify all Black Knights personally that their job class has been changed.
  17. Why shouldn't the BK be discouraged from targeting the same enemy? He's supposed to be thinking his own best interest over anyone elses!
  18. Do you honestly expect any QM to be able to keep count of all the health the BK has ever lost? Of course it means the difference between the maximum and current healths. That would be up to the QM to decide.
  19. It's also a way to acquire the drops even if the party escapes or fails the battle, so selfishness can be useful in many ways. I hope nobody is offended by the name of the skill, though. I started with "overconfidence" but wanted to also portray the piercing nature of the skill, and voilá! Also, with the new mechanic of Mortal Hits, the Black Knight actually benefits from nobody wanting to help him.
  20. Here's the new Black Knight. I changed the SHIELD-skill and the mechanic of the Mortal Hits to give the class a big boost in useability. Tell me your thoughts!
  21. You can present your ideas to me any time you yourself deem necessary. I'll see it sooner or later anyway, so it's all the same to me.
  22. Master Chef Yasmar blocks the doorway with his massive body. "You have the situation under control?! megabluck you do! The staff I trained for years are now lying dead over there, their innards torn apart by megablocking demons! And what does the bloody Wolfgang have to do with demons, anyway? Aren't they just your local band of thieves and misfits? Now tell me who the megabluck are we dealing with here, exactly, or I'll smash you like potatoes! Trust me, I have the blood of both ogres and goblins flowing through my veins, so that makes me one nasty bitch if you cross me!" "Umm, excuse me, Master Chef, but if you're such a nasty beeyotch, why don't ya aim that towards the bastards that did this, instead of these nice people that just saved our lives? Huh?" The astounded Yasmar looks down at the young waitress, who stares back at him defiantly. The heroes must choose their words carefully to break the tension.

Nyx's casting fails. Seeing the party in trouble, Barty pops out again. Thothwick throws his shuriken and Boomingham counters the blinded Chaosaurs futile attack, but their efforts are undone by Cosmosaur's healing aura. All heroes feel a sting of pain as Chaosaurs aura saps their health and ether. They would have to use more brutal force if they wished to defeat these monsters before they would take them out... 24. Stay. Away. From. My. Fairies! ...Okay, just kidding, but I do have personal plans for fairies. I'm indeed thinking of some sort of Unseen Court that exists in another dimension called Faerie. Sylvania would be the Queen (or the Queen would be named Sylvania), but the idea about the seasonal princes is good as well. And let's not forget the Fey One, one of the original Veterans... To answer Tanma's question, yes there are different types of fairies. Quest #44 featured a fairy riot leader, but they come in all sizes. Some are pretty, some are ugly. They should all have some sort of wings, though, as gnomes and goblins are totally different races in this game.
  25. Please tell me, who has changed it? The description of encouraged clearly says that "the target inflicts double damage". Healing is not causing damage, it's the total opposite. If other QMs have somehow misunderstood this, it's not my fault.. To me it's as clear as day. I'll add it to the FAQ, though. The only unclear case would be fragile on undead, since then healing does cause damage. I'm willing to let it affect the amount of healing done.
