  1. Opinion This is a first, robbing a baby from a mother. Now that is just plain cruel. The dialogue explaining your MOC is great. I can see you have used good minifig expressions. The roof is well made and I like that it is smooth. The vines growing up on the side of the house gives it an older look. In your forth picture, the pattern of tiles on the ground is a nice combination. I like the blood you have in the bottom floor. Possible Improvements 1) I would give the baby an upset face expression. 2) You could possibly have a pirate climbing up the vines. Non-Brick Related 1) I would re-take your third and forth picture because it is a little dark on the bottom floor. Overall- This is one of the cruelest ideas I have seen so far for the small division. There are some very little things to fix. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  2. Opinion For your first MOC on Eurobricks, this is great. You have used some great detail creating your MOC. My favorite part in your MOC is the houses that are on fire. The house on the left is really cool because you used black bricks to give it a burnt down look and it is fantastic. I really like how you made the bridge look old by having different shades of brown tiles. Also, I like how you made different dirt colors. Possible Improvements 1) Maybe it would be nice if you were to have some crocodiles down in the water. 2) Some of the faces on the pirates and Islanders look too standard. I would give them a mean, annoyed face expression. 3) You could possibly put some rainbow parrots or monkeys in the jungle. Overall- This is a great MOC and has some nice detail. I really like how you made a burnt building using black bricks. There are some little things to fix, but other than that, it is great. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  3. Opinion This is a great idea LegoJoe. The new pirate chasing the old pirates and guards off the cliffs is great, but I still think the new pirates will not replace the old pirates. The burning house is great and I like how you have a screaming woman inside the house. The roof is well created with minifig hands. The cliff you made with the pirates falling off is great. I like how you have one of the new pirates standing on a ledge, watching the old pirates fall off while hold a head on his sword. I also like how you included some humor by having the monkey steal from the officer. Possible Improvements 1) I would put some green tiles on the ground to make your MOC look nicer. 2) You could have a shark or shark fin sticking out of the water. Overall- LegoJoe, this is a great idea and you have executed your idea very well. There are some very minor things there are to fix, but other than that, it is great. I wish you the best of luck! 4. Opinion I like your idea of the pirates executing an Imperial Guard. The splattered effect by the cannon is really good. The blood going all over the place is great! The rock formation is very well put together. I like that it is very smooth. It is very interesting on how you created that bird mostly out of minifig hands and robot hands. That was smart thinking and nice use of bricks. Possible Improvements 1) I would use rope to make the lynch look more realistic. 2) I would give the Imperial Guard a hat. 3) Zorro3999 is right; the blood spatter is pretty messy. I like the idea of the blood spatter, but I would take some red bricks away. 4) I would also have the cannonball black, not red. Non-Brick Related 1) I would have a story. Overall- You have a great idea and have some good detail. I like the cannon firing through the guard. There are some little things I would fix to make your MOC even better. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  5. Opinion This medium PTV entry is detailed and humongous. I liked how you made the exploding bricks scene and how you created it. The roof that you created using SlyOwl's idea is great. The battle scene on the ground level is pretty intense. I like the villager trying to get out of the window because of the fire. I like how the roof of the chicken stand is on fire and the salesmen is screaming. Down by the water, the little boat you have included is nice. I also like the cannon firing with gun smoke behind the cannonball. Possible Improvements 1) The first thing I noticed is that mostly all of the minifigs are not in motion and still, not using any of their joints. I would have the legs and arms in different positions. 2) Give the Imperial Guards and others some hats or accessories. 3) As zorro3999 said, use pirate weapons, not rifles. 4) I would not have the joker minifig in there. Just replace the legs and torso with something that looks like a villager. 5) I don't think the sail you used on that boat is pirate related. I would go to the Sail Library and print out a sail and fit in on your little boat. 6) On the rocks next to the water, have a monkey or spider climbing up the wall. Non-Brick Related 1) Again, just like your other entry, it would be nice to have a story. 2) I think your MOC would look better if you had a white background. 3) I would retake the third picture because it looks dark and does not look that good. Overall- GloriusShadow, you have a great MOC. Even though your MOC looks great, there are still some things I would improve. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  6. Opinion This is a nice little creation you have here Lego Parrot. I like how you used transparent blue pieces as the water. I like how you used cannibalism as your theme for your MOC. The pirate cooking the villagers arm looks like a true cannibal. I like how you put blood next the villager where his arm was cut off. Yes, you have included the rainbow parrot! Possible Improvements 1) I would put some tan tiles on the ground to give your MOC a smoother effect. 2) I would give the villager a screaming face expression. 3) Instead of having the villager being tied up with rope, I would use chain because it looks better. Non-Brick Related 1) I would have a story of some sort. 2) Have some more pictures of your MOC at different angles. Overall- You have a very good idea. I also like that you have included the new pirates. There are some little things I would fix to make your MOC look even better. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  7. Opinion Lego Parrot, you have created a very interesting MOC. The mini castle you have made is very nice. I do like how you have all the skeletons on spears. The little cannon you have made looks good and you have created it nicely. I like how the pirates are going the boil the villager that had upset the pirates. Ah, I see you have added a rainbow parrot. I also like that you have included the new pirates. Possible Improvements 1) I would put some tiles on you MOC to give it a smoother effect. 2) I would put some blue bricks in the pot to look like he is going to be boiled. Non-Brick Related 1) It would be nicer if you had a longer story. 2) If you had a white background, it would look nicer. Overall- I really like the idea you have. But you need to explain more in your story what is happening. There are some other minor things to fix, but other than that, it is great. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  8. Opinion I have scene another Market MOC, but this one is much better by far. The market has a lot of detail. The crates of food, the fish and chicken you have on display looks really nice. Did you use the green exo-force hair as cabbage? If so, that is a great use of minifig accessories. The house looks really good. I like how you used different dark colored pieces to create the building. The awning you have put in fits your MOC really well. Did you burn that piece of fabric that you are using for the awning? I like how you used cherries for the blood. I have not seen that before. The little secret pirate hideout is fascinating. The spider and skeleton pieces makes it look spooky. Possible Improvements 1) I would have some brown pieces floating in the water if it is the sewer. Overall- You have yet made another great PTV entry. I like that you have included a lot of detail in your MOC. I like that you included the new pirates. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  9. Opinion This is a fantastic MOC pe668. I really like how you have the farther part of your MOC mini and the front part actual size. The mini ship you made looks a lot like the Black Seas Barracuda. The battle scene you have looks very gruesome and gory with lots of blood. The cannon ball hitting the wall effect is really nicely created. I still can't believe that Blood Beard is battling more than two guys at once. The blood stream looks nasty (well created). The castle on the left side looks really cool and I like the gray bricks you used to make it. Possible Improvements 1) All I would suggest is that you change you change the red bricks in the blood stream to transparent red bricks. This would make your blood stream look more like blood. Overall- I really like how you made the background mini. You have used you bricks very well creating your MOC. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  10. Opinion I think this is a great entry Erdbeeseis1. I like how you made the pirate hanging from the rope, being lynched by the Imperial Guard. The little things you added in your MOC, like the plants are very nice. I also like how you made the base of your MOC a tan color to give a beach effect. The blood you have goes good with your MOC well. Possible Improvements 1) You could have a crab or a snake crawling under the pirate. 2) If the execution of the pirate is happening when the photographer took the picture, why does the pirate have skeleton arms and head? I would change the head to a screaming expression and change the hands back to yellow. 3) You could add a bat somewhere in your MOC. 4) I agree with zorro3999, the photos should be in black and white. Overall- I really like your idea of executing a pirate. I can see you have included the new Imperial Guard. There are some little things I would fix to make your MOC look even better. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  11. Indeed, that is what ye pirates do.
  12. I would enter this in the PTV contest and put it under large division.
  13. Black Seas Barracuda is better by miles.
  14. Good use of bricks!
  15. This is a great MOC Guss. All you need is some republic troopers.
  16. Wow, I thought it would be atleast $50 USD. Nice mini-review CopMike.
  17. I buy my lego from shop at home, ebay, bricklink, toysrus and many other places that have lego. I would suggest not buying from amazon is becuase some of their items are way too expensive. They were charging $400 USD for set 7163, republic gunship and I got it off bricklink for $93 USD including shipping with all minifigs.
  18. 'Thanks to all. Sorry that the contest ended so fast. I did not even give others a chance.
  19. I agree with these three guys. A contest is a contest and it has it rules. You have had almost ten weeks to make your MOC.
  20. These are great improvements. I like that you added more minifigs onto your ship and the island you have created is great!
  21. Mister Phes, I have completed my 20 posts on peoples PTV entries. I am for sure that I have completed 20 reviews and each of them are longer than a paragraph. I hope I am a winner? LegoKing
  22. Opinion Lt. de Martinet, you have a very interesting MOC here. One thing that I am now seeing a lot is that more and more people are including the new pirates in their MOCs, just like you did. I really like how you made the water out of transparent blue bricks. The treasure that you put on the guards boat looks newer than the old pirate's gold. I also like how you have a pirate swimming in the water towards the boat. Is that a barrel on the guard's boat. The wave that is being made by the paddle is nicely done. Possible Improvements 1) I think you should put the torch in the little hole towards the front of the boat and replace the torch with a paddle. 2) Maybe you could add a shark or shark fin sticking out of the water. Non-Brick Related 1) Have more pictures of your MOC. Overall- This is a great PTV entry. I like that you included the new pirates in your MOC. There are some little things to fix. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing

    Run!

Opinion Again, Davy_Blocks, you have made some very nice improvements n your MOC. I am glad you decided you use those two extra studs with wise. The gives you more space to add a palm tree. I like the different slopes you have created with the ground. I really like that you added animals and I can spot all of them. There is a monkey in a tree, a parrot sitting on the plants and a snake crawling on the ground. I also like that you took a picture of just the minifigs and I like that you have the rest of you MOC as the background. You can see how the white background makes your MOC stand out better. Possible Improvements 1) If you like, you can also have a crab crawling around the sand into the water. Non-Brick Related 1) Your updated pictures look a little small. Make them bigger and remember that the maximum size is 800 x 600 pixels. Overall- You have made some very nice improvements on your MOC. I like how you added animals and the palm tree into your MOC. The white background also really helps your MOC stand out better. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
  24. Opinion Nice improvements Davy_Blocks. I like that you expanded your medium PTV entry into a large PTV entry. The forest you have in front of your shack looks much better than your original one. Also, I like that you have added more blood into your MOC. The table with the dead Imperial guard is a pretty cool thing. I see you have added a spider into your MOC as well. I also like that you included a banana in the palm tree. Possible Improvements 1) As Erdbesseis1 said, those arms don't really look like blood. You can either use red tiles as blood or transparent red pieces. I prefer transparent red because it looks more like blood. Non-Brick Related 1) Your first and fifth pictures are a blurry. Sorry to say, but I would re-take them. Overall- You have done some very nice improvements. I really like that you made a forest. I see you have taken my advice on putting a treasure chest in your shack in replace of the bench. Thank you for liking my comments. I wish you the best of luck! LegoKing
