Galactic Paranoia: Rebels: Day Three
Adam replied to Jlblue's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Darek! Another man down - though I don't know if I should be upset or pleased. I hope he was an Imp, although the night's... recordings suggest that he wasn't. Wow, this is confusing. I thought Kark was some kind of swear. That's an idea. But is there a role blocker? Jeez, I wish we had Widanko here to investigate... -
This is the first time I've seen a Shipyard built out of LEGO, Captain - and I must say, they're off to a great start! Now, where did I park my gondola?
-
Here's an updated version of mine: (clicky)

Widanko! You took our biased slander of your alien lineage well, and the Imperials somehow choose you for the chopping block! What astonishes me even more is that the Imperials were somehow able to kill the investigator and identifier. Either some cocky Imp is really lucky or there's some kind of information leak, a possibility we can't ignore. I don't think that's possible - Seadrik didn't have a blaster, and we heard the shot outside our quarters. There's got to be some other night investigator, or spy, or something - right?

Murder on the Emerald Express: Characters
Adam replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This is good news. -
Yup, that's it, except the real Adam was last seen in a junkyard on Coruscant, though he is on Kothlis now (I plan on posting again soon...).
-
Quite as fantastic as the Vanguard! "We'll put it onto the frontpage?" You mean I'll put it in the News Reporter Findings Thread and someone will draft it?
-
If it's not too late, I'd like my sigfig to be in your display:

Did the big voice from the sky say that he'd also fill out all of the previous requests that've been unanswered, what, what?
-
I'm new here, but I think it's obvious that we should, like, totally forget about the fourth in command dude. ... And like, do something productive, like playing gory holo-games. I'm new here!

What I meant was that suicide was a possibility, but I didn't think that it was a valid one - what, what! I don't think the prospect of two killers is that... rediculous, what, what! It would explain why a bullet was found in his trunk and in his head, to say the least. Besides, being shot, swerving, and crashing doesn't explain the strange acid and two bullets. And how would so much damage have been done to the front of the car? It seems unlikely that crashing into a railing could cause so much damage. You're going to vote, so early in the morning, based on how much someone has... ontributed, what, what? I feel that voting on activity, without sufficient evidence to support that vote, is unwise. May I check Mr. Ditalini's person, to see if he has anything questionable on him?
-
Well, I don't think we should assume this dude's dead - all we have is his helmet! He may just be missing, hence "Without a Trace," and I think we should find him. We have spies? Cool! Can I be a spy? I'm new here! Being a spy sounds awesome!

I enjoy the fact that you've put modular City sets to good use, but I must agree with the others: they don't have that colonial, 18th/17th century feel. Now, I know that you've yet to add those nautical details you mentioned, but I've a few suggestions that might boost the historical accuracy of the MOC. I propose that you remove all of the landscaping outside of the buildings and replace them with stone walkways - wood would be out of the question for such a heavy structure, lest it was supported by stones. My second suggestion is that you take off the large "hotel" sign, the decorations above the Cafe Corner doors, and replace the square window frames with the newer, Castle/Pirate frames. Also, where do you plan to put the four Market Street buildings? I'm not sure whether you plan on adding another baseplate and building it on that, or trying to build it in the remaining space/within the "courtyard" made by the Corners, Streets, and Grocers. Other than that, I can't wait to see what this structure will look like after the sea-related architecture is added! I think that rebuilding everything would be radical, to say the least, but slightly modifying each structure would go a long way to increasing the 17th/18th century feel.

I'd like to examine these panties for prints/width/etc. What size are they? Does anyone in the family fit that size? I wouldn't assume one theory to be certain, what, what! For all we know, he may even have committed suicide, although I believe it is safe to assume that a suicide is out of the question. I think there is also a possibility that there were two killers, possibly together or working separately. Yes, this opinion has been voiced by others, but I feel that we should expand on the most likely possibilities.

That's something I was wondering, too... Perhaps the fourth in command is an Imperial spy! Investigators? Who are the investigators? I don't think we have these 'cards' you speak of. I think we only have holo-cards. Or something like that.
-
I wonder if anyone was driving with him? I'd like to check the seat next to him for signs of occupation. Also, may I check what damage was done to the engine?
-
Not only is the unique use of the Town Hall from Town Plan clever, but the fact that you chose to put landscaping around it really added to the creation! The lamp-posts, by the way, are simply outstanding! My only gripe is the mixup of colors and flags - I think that you should stick to one flag color scheme to keep the government's nationality certain. IMO, the blue flags work better with the green, since the red ones make it feel too Christmasy. Other than that, keep up the good work!
-
I would like to check behind the seats for any clues of some sort.

I've just had my eyes dilated, so I don't even know what I'm typing. Because I can hardly see and can't read, I won't be active in the game for the rest of the day.

I'm ready to go - I think! I'm new here... -
Ahh, I'm afraid that, although I'm pleased to once more be reunited with my fellows, that I'd rather it be upon a happier occasion. Yes, quite sad, indeed. What, what! To me it seems apparent that this was obviously a murder - a gunshot wound to the head, my, my, that doesn't quite sound like an accident, does it? What, what! Well, best we continue on with our investigation. Might I - why, thank you for those crumpets, Dakota - check what's in the trunk of the car?

I have contacted LEGO to inform them that soemone has pirated an image from Brickmodder (Rob Hendrix) - hopefully, something will be done.

Before the team went their separate ways, each exploring their chosen planets THE FAKE Adam, a robotic replacement built by Dooku and his henchmen, was activated just before the team's ships had taken off. The robot glanced at its situation - a squad of clone medics had been assigned to take Adam to a new location, but they, along with the clones guarding his bedside, had been disposed of. He had to act fast; without any notification from the dead clones, the rest of the group would grow suspicious. He radioed the leader, Butcher, excuse ready. It wasn't long before the replacement Adam was granted his own venator, which he was to take to Kothlis. Before he left, however, there were some matters to be taken care of. "Has the real Adam been successfully incinerated in the waste plant?" he questioned the droid present at Coruscant's main waste facility, where the living Adam had surely been taken. "That is yet to be determined," the droid stated robotically. "There are too many discarded materials to locate him, and he may well be incinerated at this point in time." After given orders to produce results from another search of the plant, the droid began scanning the garbage. A figure suddenly leapt from behind the battle droid, landing on it's back. The droid collapsed, a discarded piece of metal through its chest. The real Adam, of course, had awoken at the same time as the fake one. At the tropical planet Kothlis, orbited by the imitation Adam KOTHLIS is famous for being a sort of secondary home-world for Bothans. The inhabitants of the Bothan colony, obviously similar to Bothans, are generally more cunning than those that reside upon Bothawui, the Bothan home-world, and are motivated by the fact that they are closely related to their better-off counterparts. Reports of CIS activities had grown exponentially, now a matter that simply could not be ignored. Not only were the underwater facilities producing droids and weaponry, but were using the extra-terrestrial aquatic life to perform experiments and test biological weaponry. Despite the interesting sea life, most Republic officials were somewhat surprised that the CIS weren't making better use of Kothlis' powerful air currents - wind power supplied energy to 92% of the planet. This is what Adam had been sent to investigate, along with the experimentations on the planet's unique sea creatures. Unfortunately, what the Bothans on Kothlis would be receiving from the fake Adam would be far from helpful.

Seconded. And this belongs in the MOC forum.
