I'd just like to add for mister Jammiedodger714 that Adam is married to a very pretty and intelligent wife who is expecting a child, so be sure to include that in your story.

Murder on the Emerald Express: Discussion
Adam replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I just realized that I posted a little late, and missed some of the following discussion. I'm sorry if I re-opened the little controversy, and think we should all just enjoy the game as it flows along. -

I agree with Hinckley. Although it's true that TheBrickster has held a firmer grip over the game these past few days, I don't believe that his action are as totally unjustified as you suggest. Part of the angst you and some other players are likely feeling is due to the removal of the 'Dynamic Movement' feature, which was what really gave you the so-called freedom you're missing. This feature enabled you to basically do whatever you want short of blowing up the whole train, and now that there's a highlighted story you're supposed to follow, that kind of freedom has to be disregarded. It's also important to note that some of the game threads, yours specifically, have gone completely out of line, what with hand guns, truckers, superhuman strength, and whatever the heck else. Each group has a set goal, whether it's to get out of town or to find repair parts, and if that's what you're trying to do, it makes no sense to go shooting willie-nillie or to start wrapping people in your lace vest. Each of the town residents received a special PM explaining facts about the town, and from it I've gathered that there's a story that has to be completed here, so we all have to be patient and trust TheBrickster with his decisions. -
I think we're supposed to be walking *slowly* forward.
-
Alright then, that was pointless. Now, I'm handing the flashlight to Brakes. I'm also staying in the middle until we reach the end of the shed.
-
Why, hello, Davey! I hadn't seen you before. No, he's referring to the 'Sanctuary X' one. Is that true? Well, I suppose, since you're suggesting everybody else step forward, if you aren't man enough... Ah, what the heck. Throw me the hammer, I'll smash the wall open. You lot keep your eyes on the mallet, wrench, and drill, those could deal some damage.
-
... Are you trying to kill me?! I've got the heavy flashlight, I'm in the front, and now I'm supposed to step forward, thinking I'm saving the day, only to get my balls smashed in by a crazy axe man?!
-
I've never heard of no cult, but some of the other folk might have somethin' to do with this. Err... I have the flashlight...
-
Now, because we all somehow walk incredibly slowly, this climactic discovery seems to a long way off. Anyone want to sack out?

I'd like to know - do you pick these up and leave them for humor's sake or do you actually just miss them? -

Not only that, but it's simple dynamics. Let's say I walk up the stairs. There are two people at the top and three at the bottom. At the moment, unless I'm walking backwards, I'm facing towards the two at the top. Now, I decide to walk back down. To do this, I've turned around. Now I'm facing the three at the bottom. Suddenly, however, one of the two at the top opens a door. From that door is a gust of wind which rushes down the stairs, and suddenly there's a knife in me. Get it? -

Going in the chest doesn't necessarily mean it's going in his front. Umm... Yeah we do. -

Er... yes. He turned, and his back faced towards you. The knife then came from the door you opened and stabbed him in the back. You're spewing uout more than that. -

Er, I don't mean to interfere, but if "te" Conducter was walking up the stairs, then he was facing you, which means that you'd be behind him once he turned around. Which "leave" you. -
Oh, fine then. If you want me to take the lead I will! But I'll be cursing you on my deathbead!
-
Oh my God... But she was so... hot valuable to the team! Wait... join the Imperials? But... aren't we their enemies? Well, I guess it seems like the best option... Right? I'm new here!
-
... Well that isn't creepy. I guess I'll stick close behind Brakes, seeing as I'm holdin' the flashlight.

I second that. Group A is rather quiet, too. Come on, guys, we can't all live in America! -
Nice! It's almost like a Trojan horse with a wider variety of figures.
-
I disagree with these figures "ruining the classic feel" - I think these are a perfect, almost 2.0 style. The sabre on the Wolfpack figrue works marvelously, in my opinion.

If possible, this is even better than your FRANK robot! Great job with the rover as well, the remote in ALA-N's hand is a really nice detail. And also, kudos on the black monolith. I would never have thought to put in a 2001: A Space Odyssey reference.

This is a great idea, DJ Force! I can see this evolving into something like the EBCCB. I voted that the locals need more training. Why? Because I'd love to see some towsnfolk throwing pitchforks at oncoming robots.
