  1. I plan to buy mine on Amazon. Hopefully, they don't push their release date back.
  2. Where do you buy them?
  3. Yay! Just in time for Christmas!
  4. Magneto? First thing that came to mind.
  5. My vote: 1 by Ninja Nin - 1 point. Love the action poses. 19 by KZB - 1 point. Deadpool is awesome. 5 by BaraSH - 1 point. Simple, yet charming.
  6. I hope Amazon has them available at around the same time.
  7. yay! Ninja Turtles! Hopefully, they have it in stores by next week!
  8. Never mind... I figured out what the "distribution model" was.
  9. I think the Judge is one of the best CMFs ever. Love the detail. I think the BattleMech looks like a Power Ranger. I think I will get one to fight TMNT. Edit: By Power Ranger, I mean this: http://sentairider.f...hiteranger1.jpg. Notice that the eye piece, the mouthpiece, and the armor look almost exactly like the Power Ranger, with the exception of the colors (orange instead of gold on the CMF). I think the "Brave" figure looks like the girl from the movie. Chickenman looks funny. All in all, a good set. Looking forward to getting myself a Judge and maybe a Power Ranger. The more I look at the "BattleMech," the more I like it. Too bad it has no weapons.
  10. I second this. Awesome work!
  11. Nay. The Simpsons demographic, IIRC, is mostly teens and adults (not really a kid-friendly show). LEGO's main demographic is still kids (as evidenced by the fact that kid-geared themes dominate - Ninjago, Star Wars Clone Wars, TMNT to an extent). Unless there is a huge AFOL movement for Simpson's sets, I don't think LEGO will do it.
  12. Agreed. At least you know these figs are turtles. Chima figures look kinda like hedgehog-men (at least the ones I've seen so far). Rather peculiar... Back on topic: I am excited to see the play features of the Lair and the Shellraiser. I think the Shellraiser's convertability to a train car is awesome, though I don't think I will be getting it at that price. Also, I am not a fan of Dogpound, especially . I think the only superhero set I'll be getting is The Bat v. Tumbler and only because I liked the movie.
  13. ^ I agree. The new TMNT is awesome and very exciting.
  14. ^^The cartoon has been airing for at least a couple months now.
  15. I think TLC is making a big mistake not releasing the sets until January (See LEGO Magazine, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, p.39, (Nov-Dec. 2012 issue)). The holiday season is a peak shopping season, and I know that there are quite a few people in my community who like TMNT. (certain TMNT action figs keep selling out - mostly Leonardo, Raphael, and Shredder). Children, at least where I live, get a 1-2 week holiday in December and could spend the time playing with their new TMNT sets. Come January, the children would be back in school and would have less time to play. Hopefully, TLC releases the sets in the next couple weeks.
  16. Totally agree about the facial expressions. I like how TLC gave each of the foot soldiers a different weapon - mace in lab set; sword in shredder set; scythe + throwing star in lair set; double throwing star in fishface set.
  17. Awesome! Looks just like the comic book cover!
  18. Weird. Don doesn't have a katana. Are those figs legit LEGO figs? Or are they knockoffs?
  19. IMO, that set is highly underrated. It has 6 figures (including the wooden dummy). Comparable sets in other lines might cost $60-70, easily. But, I think the Lair will only be $49.99 (less than the Shellraiser). Love your sig, BTW. That's how I plan to feed the LEGO fever - FREE Amazon gift cards from my friends.
  20. I plan on doing pretty much the same, except for me, I will get Kraang Lab, Shredder Bike, and Lair. That gets me all 4 turtles, Splinter, Shredder, a bunch of evil ninjas, and Kraang. I might pick up April on ebay. I am not interested in FishFace or Dogpound either. By the way, is it better to buy on ebay or bricklink in terms of price? Edit: I will say that it is great how we could get the main characters in a theme for under $100.
  21. I agree that the vehicles look awful. This is especially true for the Shellraiser and the Stealth Shell. The two vehicles that the turtles are on in the Baxter set (i.e. not the robot) also look terrible. I mean, I can't even figure out whether Raphael is riding a glider or an airplane or something else in that set. The Shredder Bike is a bit better, but I think I would need to see a 360 degree view on it before making a decision. The Kraang's Lab set is great because it has three figures. The robot that Kraang is using looks awesome. Lastly, I really like the turtle lair. It costs less than the Shellraiser but seems many times more fun. You get Splinter and the Dark Ninja (Chris Bradford?), which are unique to that set. The Dark Ninja, which represents an Elite Foot, is also useful for playing scenes from other TMNT storylines. Honestly, I think the shellraiser set is probably the worst in the whole line - expensive, dogpound is ugly, and the set is not very interesting.
  22. I really want to know what the Japanese words on the flag on Shredder's Bike say. I know some Japanese and I think it says something like "O Gold" which doesn't make a lot of sense.
