Forestmen, Hideouts, Tunnels, my faviourite! This is a nice MOC. The tower is well done and the 'forest' ;-) is great (I hate part shortages). The pics are also good (unlike most of mine ;-) ). Keep them coming!

Very nice, and definately unique! The skull is a little sheer and white for me but I think the whole MOC still comes off very nicely...

They were definately a foil for the royal knights (hence their inclusion in one set) and the pics in (my elusive not yet scanned mag) show them engaging the king (with his own silver sword...) That is why I considered these dragon knight figs as a clearout of extra parts (especially that black knight shield). It is also worth noting that the dragon knight in the Royal Knight Bridge had a black knight shield... obviously Lego had a few lying around...

Its definitely not in any of the catalogues I've seen but Fibblesnork's LEGO Guide has them under the "Dark Forest" section or released in 1996 section.
Now that you mention it I can't find it in the peeron catalogue scans either, however it is in a magazine I own (the standard box filler from 96)...odd...

He is kneeling (or that is how I always interpreted it...
It's non-military (small escort for dignitary) suppose it depends on your point of view. As a deciding factor I would have to cite the absence of a catapult X-D ...
