  1. Same here, unless I go for two fictional soldier factions... I don't have enough red coats for much anyway... God Bless, Nathan
  2. Thanks for returning the SES to it's rightful place... God Bless, Nathan
  3. I'm going to have to admit I'm not fully satisfied with the 1900s one. Phes? God Bless, Nathan

I was just riding Hobbes' joke... And no offense meant either though I am still perplexed that you could leave out Ireland... :-D God Bless, Nathan
  9. --Not a caption-- Is it over? Do I win? ;) God Bless, Nathan
  10. I remember looking at this set in a toy store and thinking it was over-priced... how was I suppose to know lego would suddenly nose-dive? God Bless, Nathan
  11. Possibly just me: Somehow the spainards never worked with my pirate world...they made the whole thing too realistic and altered the delicate balance of power... God Bless, Nathan
  12. Surprisingly I voted for castle...just a whim I suppose... a long running whim mind you... God Bless, Nathan (who will not debate here that movie lines aren't really lego themes in the pure sence and therfore castle is in the lead...)
  13. Come to Ireland and get all you want of the complete sets... we're not so easily swayed by gimmicks ;) God Bless, Nathan
  14. Just to clarify... I meant informally you know who contributes what (eg I look to someone for great MOCs, someone else for new etc.) Not another point system. Don't get me wrong I'm a very competitive person *viki* but I come to Eurobricks for the community, and community doesn't need neon lights and valet parking... That said the shield/logos look awsome... God Bless, Nathan (who should of mentioned he can hold out on a polar opinion for quite a while...)

Misspelling Austria? Careless. Leaving out Denmark? A substantial error...Leaving out Ireland?!.... The nation that save civilization and continues to populate every corner of the globe. What can I say? Have you ever been to a St. Patrick's day celebration? God Bless, Nathan
  16. After that generosity I'm surprised you didn't let him drink all the bears... God Bless, Nathan
  17. They'd never notice you walking out with a huge stack of sets if that's what you mean :-D God Bless, Nathan
  18. See Bruce's comments on classic castle here (towards the bottom). I too am curious... Thanks and God Bless, Nathan
  19. Happy B-day Phes... have you considered some of Red Beard's pattened limb replacements :-D Yes that was rather good... (he says modestly) God Bless, Nathan
  20. I'll admit I'm the odd one out on the net... (Nothing like being an idependent eh?) I don't like post counters.... If someone's worth reading they're worth reading...If the MOC is good, it's good.... Post counters are just a pecking order. One that can even serve to intimidate new/'lesser' members. Personnaly I'm glad of every poster to Eurobricks, be that 1 post a month or 100 a day. I think what you contribute is far more important than how often you contribute. And that is the way it should stay. I'll remember the name of an inspiring MOCer, whether it's his/her first post or Phes'd post ;) I even seem to remember the post count being a joke with the admins at an early stage... Ahh, I feel better for saying that. And don't take me wrong, one of my fav aspects of Eurobricks is how little this is taken into account. I also love that about Lugnet. I think it is one of Classic Castle's weak points (I qualify this by saying I like cc and read it daily, and find it a great source for 'all my castle needs'). Please don't ruin it!!! God Bless, Nathan with the opposite view :) (who isn't going anywhere just expressing a preference...)
  21. Great link! It's good to know that when I buy lego out they'll have all the sets waiting for me :-D... God Bless, Nathan
  22. I completely disagree. I'd say Wallace and Gromit is emmensely cross generational. Curse of the Were-Rabbit is pretty much an introduction to the horror genre for kids. I saw it at ten to nine at night and the audience was completely adults bar ONE lucky kid. And everyone was in hysterics. I thought it was consistanly funny, and it didn't let up. But hey, we can agree to disagree. Glad I'm not alone!!! God BLESS, Nathan
  23. I was in the UK in 96 and needless to say never saw this... or I would be sifting parts from them to this day :-D God Bless, Nathan
  24. LOL! Sorry about that, do you forgive me? Graynar Of course :-D God Bless, Nathan
  25. Having made the 'good' and the 'bad', Lego moved on to the 'ugly' and 'uglier'...
