Black Friday 2009 discussion thread
Stash2Sixx replied to Darth Legolas's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
I agree with IlikePi, this does belong in the 2009 Black Friday discussion thread. So, I'm merging them. I would really love to see the originator of this thread update the first post so that everyone can see the important info at first glance....hint, hint.... -

LEGO Cloaks with hood - Question
Stash2Sixx replied to General Magma's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Sorry General Magma, but I just saw this thread. I actually purchased a few of these from UnknownArtist over a year ago. I think these robes with hoods are great. The hood actually rests on the back and doesn't have that 'cone' effect when draped. You should definitely pick up a few. -
I look forward to meeting you...along with all of the other people who are expressing interest.

UCS Millenium Falcon is being discontinued!
Stash2Sixx replied to Darth Legolas's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Or.... Maybe LEGO is just trying to be nice and say "Hey, we are starting to run low on these and if you are thinking about getting one, you might want to hurry. In fact, play it smart and take advantage of the free shipping offer!" Way too many people put off the Market Street and numerous other sets, right. We've all heard the stories, some of us even have some of our own. Consider this an opportunity to pick up the sweetest SW LEGO set ever. -

Quarryman, this looks really cool. I am interested! Please add my name to the pool of potentials. Thanks. -
Hi all. Due to other members of this forum that think I always post in a 'mean' tone, I decided to type the following message as nicely as possible, so I don't hurt anyone's feeling. This is a thread about speculation of 2010 sets. Speculation means that nothing is officially confirmed. This is not a thread for members to burn others. This is not a thread to make others feel like less of a person for voicing their opinions for being/thinking different. This is not a thread to have an immature fight about spelling. This is not a thread to discuss anything other than speculation on upcoming sets. and... This is not a thread for you to practice minimodding. 'Nice' tone stops here. I see anymore minimodding in this forum/thread/anywhere, that's it! You will take a nice long vacation in the chamber, and I know just the guys to put you in there! Focus! If you have an issue, you need to bring it to the attention of KimT, myself, or another moderator. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take matters into your own hands, it will only create more of a problem. Any questions?

Why do Star Wars fans hate Star Trek so much?
Stash2Sixx replied to liquidcross's topic in Community
I like 'em both! I grew up with the old reruns of Star Trek and those movies, along with the OT movies from Star Wars. Other than SW Episode 2, I have enjoyed the Star Trek movies more in the last ten years. And the new one, WOW! In regards to "too Sci-Fi", I need you to explain that one for me please Jammiedodger? A small stick which powers up into a compressed, controlled beam of light, with the ability to cut through multiple feet of solid steel? (Space steel for that matter, because it probably isn't the same steel we know) Not trying to sound angry, just trying to back up my thoughts. -

Hey Striker, go ahead and tell us what the spoiler is. -
Well done! You found a great use for that BrickTW hair piece. This looks really good Omicron. A very entertaining series of games, and a spot-on representaion of Simon. Nice choice on the armor color.

Very amusing Bob. If only those Imperial Officers had different uniform ranks, then yes, I would get tons of these. I'm overflowing with Imperial Officer torsos from when KB Toys cleared out all of the sets at 3 for $9.99. But anything with a Stormtrooper usually peaks my interest.

Black Friday 2009 discussion thread
Stash2Sixx replied to Darth Legolas's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
Pi, the earlier you go, the better! My local LEGO store was open at 6am, and the mall actually had Macys open at 4am, so there was a decent crowd walking around. The store had a line at 6, but very small compared to what you are fearing. I walked in at a few minutes after 6, maybe 6:05, and it was just like a normal busy day in the LEGO store. Ask the manager at your store how last year was, I'm sure they can give you some insight. -

New Games Regulator: Dragonator!
Stash2Sixx replied to Shadows's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Yeah Dragonator! Good for you. Keep the peace and do your thing, just remember to have fun! Now, where is day 8! -
Very nice! I'm going to your Flickr gallery now to look at the rest of the shots. I see tons of smaller details, which is always a good thing. I can only imagine what the feeling was like when you were finally done.

Interesting build. How does he get into the cockpit? Sorry, I just wonder about these things.

Talk to the Star Wars Moderators and Regulators
Stash2Sixx replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Sending you a PM right now Eskallon. -
Yes. Yes I will. I had a lot of fun constructing everyone's Sigifg, except Meschepers. He was the only one that sent his in the mail. I will most likely start this up in the late winter, early spring of 2010.

Looks good. I also saw the Whydah exhibit here in Chicago. Really cool stuff. Your ship looks like it could do some damage.

I glue quarters to the steps outside before I go to bed the night before. Kids try so hard to pick them up all day long! I have no costume as of yet, doubt I will.
