Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 4
Stash2Sixx replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Ok, here is what I know. Feint colored epaulettes, check. Moustache, check. Knife in bag, check. Provost Guard Ian Des, all of this stacks up against you. And I had to run out of that tent before I could finish my investigation. Anything you would like to say for yourself? -
Fantastic review. Now I will just wait for Sieggy to post his pictures!

NICE! Interesting color scheme; will you have custom clone troopers to go with it? The four engines are a nice addition, gives it a little more punch when needs be. I noticed a lot more armament on yours. That's something that always bothered me about the version LEGO made. I have never really looked at the actual blueprints for this ship, even though I think I have them in a book somewhere in the LEGO room, but a gunship is meant to be just that. A ship full of guns! I like what you did with the nose. The scanners and lights in the front are great, I might borrow that idea at some point. Looking forward to seeing more pics when this is done!

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 4
Stash2Sixx replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I went down to the water to wash my face and clean up. When I went investigating last night, I found that this "subject" carries a knife in their knapsack. It was a clean knife, but still a knife. I saw the person start to move around so I ran out as fast as I could. On the way back to my tent, i tripped and slid through some mud. So, I just figured I would get up a little early and get down to the river and wash up. -
Brickworld 2010 Registration and Brickworld Indy
Stash2Sixx replied to BrickworldBryan's topic in Brickworld
Linky That's the link for Brickworld. You then choose between either Brickworld 2010 or Brickworld Indy. When you click on the Indy link, it says who the vendors are that will be in attendance. From what I read, this show will be all INDYLUG. I know I'm going for sure on Sunday morning. Judging by the displays I saw from INDYLUG at Brickworld and considering who their members are, I will not be missing this. -
From what I know, the new one is new. It is not the same as the motorized walker. According to the pics from the Toyfair book, there are also more figures, so that's good.

Foamcore is what I use. It's sold at craft stores in different sizes. It consists of a piece of paper, some foam, and then another piece of paper. I usually buy it in the 1/4 inch thickness, but there are other sizes too. It's fairly rigid and will last a long time, providing you take care of it.

For a first build, I like where this is going....Not quite sure if it is complete or if you tend to add more. Maybe toss a few more mugs on the ground? A seedy cantina usually always has some junk on the floor. Maybe a dirty mess from an over-indulging patron off in the corner? I would also love to see some more action in this cantina. You got the room, go for it! Don't hold back! Maybe have a brawl? Either way, good job!

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 3
Stash2Sixx replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hey Mason, think about it, would it really have mattered? Would you have revoted? Would a mojority have revoted? I would have shown my action early and that wouldn't have really helped anyone. My job is to make the tough decisions. That's why I'm in the field and you hide in the background, safe in your little tent. Did I cry like a baby when my friend LeCoq was killed, you bet. Did I feel horrible about what happened to Pvt. Gale, of course I did. With all the talk of sausage, my voice wouldn't have been heard. I mean please, Pvt. Stelly is still yammering on about nothing, and this is the third day we have been involved in this affair! Next time you sit in your warm cozy tent, sipping hot coffee in front of your fireplace, think about what "burden of command" really means. Sir. -
Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 3
Stash2Sixx replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
False accusations are exactly what they are. Or maybe just faulty investigating? I am an investigator and can tell you this... I investigated Pvt. Dan Gale on the first night and found him to be an innocent, loyal member of this army. I then investigated Pvt. Entaine on the second night, informing him via a private letter, that I was voting for him because I knew Pvt. Dan Gale to be innocent, but would be investigating him (Pvt. Entaine) that evening. My results came back that Pvt. Entaine is an innocent and loyal member of this brigade. So, let's see this investigator that claims to know so much come forward and prove his statements. -

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 2
Stash2Sixx replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Pvt. Gale hasn't seemed to do anything but bring up some interesting points; points which we have all thought about considered. I just haven't seen anything worth placing a vote for him. Pvt. Entaine however, seems eager to split this scene, as do we all. For the time being, I vote Pvt. Entaine/Alice. ( I can't bold my vote, would someone mind please?. Thanks.) -
Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 2
Stash2Sixx replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Captain LeCoq and I have been close friends for many years men. His death has only increased my desire to find these turncoat bastards! Now since we are all here, please, would an officer explain how the ranks work? I believe I was under the direction of Cpt. LeCoq, but now that he has been murdered, I am under the direction of this new Cpt.? That's fine with me; I've never been officer material. I prefer to get my hands dirty and command my men on the field of battle. Provosts, I feel that since you are the highest ranking officers here, we are all looking to you for answers. But it seems you really have no answers, correct? So what are we suppossed to do? I am losing faith in my commanding officers. -
Cool, looking forward to meeting you. Just ask for Stash; I'll be there all day Saturday and Sunday!

Yup, Oak Lawn Public Library. See you there!

Me personally, no. I really don't have any suggestions as to how to make the curves look a bit smoother. However, I noticed you live in Illinois, anywhere near Chicago? My train club has a show this weekend in the south suburbs and I know one of our members has an elevated track with curves. Might be worth it to swing by and get a glimpse at how others have pulled it off? Stash2sixx

Or maybe LEGO is just holding the surprise for a later date?

No, this is the right forum for this, unless The Brickster feels differently. I voted for #6399, not just because I own it, but because I just like it out of the other three trains.

Bring it!

Imperial Soldier's Mafia: Day 1
Stash2Sixx replied to Scouty's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Well I have no clue who to vote for. I have kept quiet and watched my privates all morning. O.o Other than a dead body that seems to have floated down river, we really have nothing to go on, and that is unfortunate. I hope that some type of clue shows soon, otherwise...not good.
