Heroica RPG - Quest#130: Sisters in Salmanda

Sarge grinned at Boomingham and shrugged in approval "I just stand next to people looking 'ard as nails, espionage aint exactly me thing. Babeleth though, that was my thing." He cheerfully began the tale, his bad memory did it injustice. "Cut a long story short, the vets told us to go find out about the Wolfgang witch bitch in a tower in Babeleth, but the Wolfgang counter-hired us to blow up the tower. We were all for it, but one of our party disagreed, and framed us for a murder in the city of Vega. So, we scarpered, picked up Dain - dwarf bomb bloke, owns the bomb stall in the marketplace, and blew the tower. Our reward was a lordship if the Wolfgang won and a big paycheck. They seemed pretty nice actually - polite. The houses tend to treat us with common contempt, though I hear the Ziegfrieds are different." The old man exhaled after the long speech and stifled a yawn. "You don't like the Wolfgang do ya mate?" He chuckled cheerfully- 1,180 replies

Sarge nodded at the two's recollections and chuckled to himself "All you highborn types in Heroica and here's me with me soldiering. I might die a noble, though most other mercs aint gonna be happy if the conditions for that title we earned in Babeleth are realised. " He paused to chew on the tobacco some more, then joked at the others "Then again. If these sisters take their time on deciding who's the leader I'll die of the damned curse." Having looked haunted for a moment, the old man spat out his tobacco onto the sand and rubbed his hands together. "Right then. Let's head out to the slums "- 1,180 replies

Sarge moved to get up, but hesitated. It was a nice night, may aswell chat to the rest of the party for a bit. Although he had spent alot of time with his comprades, on the job. There had always been an urgency preventing them from talking extensively "Where'd you get the title of lord, mate?" He queried at Boomingham, raising an eyebrow "Course, me an Eric're lords - provided the Wolfgang win." He chuckled, chewing on the tobacco some more. "And weren't you pretty high ranked among ya clan anyway Eric me-lad?"- 1,180 replies

Lind is edgy, a tryhard, and very self-righteous. A pretty aggravating combo to some characters, though not exactly bad RP or characterization.

Ooc: Good save Sandy Also, when you removed the swift boots gold from Sarge, you took away too much. 237-87 is 150, not 124 Loot distribution: Poison bomb: Boomingham Golden scorpion venom: Sarge -"We'll split the profit later lads" mumbles the old man Jon, out of breath, sits down on a nearby rock to take a breather - The poison hadn't done his lungs any good. He ineptly fumbles in his pockets for his tobacco pouch and begins chewing on some. Hesitating as he remembers his responsibility as party leader, he loudly addresses the rest of the party while they were recovering "So it's dark, and I'm heading to the magic shop next, followed by the port, then the dunes and finally the palace; bit of a shopping trip see. Boomers mate, I know you wanted to go to the library but anyone else want to join me? Or's we going to stay as a party today?"- 1,180 replies

Ooc: Ok, so my plan is to go on a shopping spree through The slums - The port - The Luxor dunes - the palace district, after Sarge and Heckz find the Lilliput's boat and find the golden scorpion's venom. After that, doing work for the sisters is Sarge's priority.- 1,180 replies

You what mate, I'll bash yer 'ead in, swear on me nan. Alfred definitely has a more advanced vocabulary but the accent is spot on. I think what Khorne means is that in the long run, cash spent at Salmanda vendors will be more beneficial than the Tyrant statue's effect.

Seeing as I plan to have spent my gold by the end of this quest it's useless to me
