Heroica RPG - Quest#130: Sisters in Salmanda
Pyrovisionary replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
Sarge idly glanced at his magic compass, wondering first where the black market was, and secondly where the were-panther's mother was. When Eric arrived he nodded back at the man and nonchalantly tapped his Pegleg against the cobbles. He inserted a health core into his Demonic greatsword, admiring he blade whilst he did so. After fumbling with some buckles, he sheathed the greatsword - it was usually drawn but made a nice "shing" sound when he drew it. He eyed Eric, and Conspirator, a strange sword, as they go. "Remind me Eric, what was it with you and Reno? 'Except his death, I know bout that bit."- 1,180 replies

Sarge likes Pretzel for their similarities in grumpiness, and greed. Pretzel got it from Atramor and Sarge got it from Pretzel. Sarge didn't really need it and Eric seemed to like Reno so... He's definitely more intellectual, certainly in his vocabulary, witticisms and the way he treats others. He acts superior in a very subtle, refined way, and you To him excellently.

Never seen it I'm afraid. I was partly influenced by the soldiers in the glorious UK sitcom Bluestone 42 They'd clash, but maybe in a good way. Mainly because Lind is too intellectual for his own good, but it'd certainly be fun to find out

Sarge is Chaotic neutral. I'd say his views on killing have been twisted over his years as a soldier that he doesn't need to justify killing anymore. But yet I guess he'd have moral standards, no point stealing from Paupers and such. In terms of law, it's not illegal if you don't get caught. If you get caught glass em' and don't get caught again. He fights for his friends, personal gain and pride. And he hates it when people try to justify their actions with right and wrong or petty ideology. I'm not the most reputable RP'er so what does everyone else think? Yeah, Sarge's approach would be alot less glamorous. "You try that crazy stuff on me or me mates yer dead."
-
Well #100 is probably some of my best RP, and it has Hodurr so . I'd also suggest looking at Eric's (Khorne) quests.

It doesn't poison them, and Flipz is right (As always you intelligent gentleman ), it was from the time of back row counterstrike glove fighting.

Sarge headed onto the palace district. Before he left, he patted Eric on the shoulder. "I don't see anything I like, meet you in the palace district soon mate"- 1,180 replies

I remember in quest #42 it prevented poisoned enemies from free-hitting.

Ooc: BTW Cutcobra, that book is (I think) the last item we have to get, the one we give to the guy in the Grey-angel's shrine Sarge smiled at Eric as they recieved their weapons "We could topple Eubric with this level of weaponry lad" He gave a shrug and smirked "Hell, we probably will" He put his thumbs in his belt and leaned back for a moment. "I wanna head to the palace, but we could go through the souk, the holy district or even the dunes. Whaddaya think?"- 1,180 replies

Well it has been for the last 4 years sunshine.

I'd like to point out that Lind will get stunned every time he rolls a shield, incase you missed that.

Sarge strutted up to Djimini's dream forge, happily feeling the weight of his weapons. He sold his Broken Mythril Greatsword, wooden spear and Rusted Mythril Shield for (40*5 + 30*5 + 4*5 = 370 gold) then imbued his Scrolls of Sealing and blinding into his demonic greatsword (50 + 50 = 100 gold) leaving him with (160 + [370 - 100] =) 430 gold While packing away his gold, he found 3 weighty bottles in his satchel. Shite. Last time he'd drunk one was before the boat journey, 4 days ago. He hadn't taken any curse medicine for 4 days. The only thing he'd had since the boat was ... Ah yes. The pheonix essences, hence why he was not dead. He only had - one, two, three bottles of medicine left. After taking a swig he corrected that to two-and-a-half. That was three days at best. Hopefully he would be cured soon. Shite.- 1,180 replies

Thanks Meanwhile in #130, Sarge's upgraded build is begining to take shape.
-
That's a very good excuse you've got there, now could you please stop using it every time anyone mentions #131, it had its pros and cons. Off topic but is there any way of searching a thread for keywords because Ctrl-F only really works for individual pages.

Oh it always is when it's a Dwarf

Jet fuel can't melt Technic beams The guild of Invision are only responsible for the destruction of one tower though
-
And not, just the rather eccentric collection of alchemists blowing their guild building up every once in a while

Either one of us has learned how to open multiple tabs or 6 (Lizard) people are conspiring against us On the other hand maybe we've learned that the retirement home really is the best house.

I can't wait for the event I just fear that one faction will be the most powerful and that will be that.

Apologies for being rather untactful there, I didn't intend to glorify a lack of cooperation. However the occasional reparté is always satisfying I find A lack of tension between characters can perhaps become somewhat monotonous. However you're quite correct in that total attrition is not exactly droll. Oh yes, and I've rather forgotten to catch up on the quests from my hiatus between #100 and #130, does anybody have any recommendations?
