A thought just struck me. Where do all our Heroes actually live. I think it was agreed upon that the Heroics hall didn't have accommodation so...

Thank you, it really means alot I checked back on Heroica a couple of times between #100 and #130. I came very close to killing Sarge off. And I am so glad I did not

Too right. I remember something being said a long time ago about the best way to put together a battle order . Healing classes first or whatnot. Anyway, am I right in saying that healing classes, and players that cause negative effects e.g Witches, Sorcerers, go first?

Sarge grasped at his beads, maing sure they were still there. "Already got that covered mate." Oh no you don't! I just upgraded my stuff, I can't keep up Sandy, I know it's annoying to be asked so frequently so much about it ; but there will inherantly be unbalanced factions in the clash. How, if at all, might they be balanced?

You're better off just waiting for a good drop on a quest than upgrading that edgily named weapon. Try and buy one of the Halberds or Lances I sold to Flipz, who hasn't used them Getting a 100% chance for an effect is pretty OP, ala Conspirator. I remember the argument over that being OP . Besides, you've had the fast track with leveling. Bear in mind for example, that I've been doing Heroica nearly 3 times as long as you, so that may explain why, at only 2 levels higher than Lind, I have a rather OP build in comparison. Though those netherwings and that armour are pretty nice

I hate to turn this into a competition but: I think Skrall has probably dealt the most damage in one hit though? I remember his fields party defeating a boss in a matter of rounds.

Sarge nodded at the priest, slightly unsure of what to say. Then shrugged at the beggar "Friend of mine should have somethin nice for ya lad." Probably. His pegleg clinked on the hard ground as he strutted up to the statue of the angel Ophaniel, and tried to discern if it was armour or just a statue, he gave a quick glance at the food hungrily to find out if it would give him any benefits. He allowed his eyes to wander, and they fell first on the dwarf, no interest. And secondly on the green women. "Tell me love, you know anything 'bout the venomari?" Realising he would feel alot better after a night's rest, he hastily yanked his bedroll off of his back and shook it onto the ground, but waited for the woman's response before he drifted off. Ooc: I'll break until the rest of the party has caught up with Sarge's rest. Prevent any space-time conundrums

The murder certainly is an interesting plot development. But I'm frustrated that Sarge still has to sleep and can't do night activities.

Sarge, weary eyed, turns to Eric and hands him his magic compass "Look for Peri, get a hand from Boomingham. Or get some shut-eye" Slightly slumped, he shuffled to the sanctuary glad to have gotten rid of the burden of the girl's body.

Sarge placed the body on the ground with care, then cleared his throat. "We found her at Danab's fountain in the bog, looking for some shut-eye. The fountain was poisoned, and her throat Slit. We found marks on the ground and broken branches. A snake or something. We ain't sure but we had sold some venom we found to a Venomari priest earlier, we have some of the poisoned water here as well. If this is golden Scorp venom it was probably the Venomari." He stifled a yawn, and looked around at the sisters. "If you lot can stay our weariness, we'll search tonight. Otherwise" he yawned fully this time "we gotta continue in the morning."

Sarge pocketted the jewelry by habit, "Slit throat ain't very Venomari is it mate?" He said absentmindedly to Eric. "I'm going to get some sleep at the sanctuary. Cheapskate that I am, and we need to tell the aunt about this. Should join me so we can move tomorrow night." Sarge bottles some of the poisoned water then searched the scene with his magnifying glass, before heading to the holy district, carrying the corpse over his shoulder. Ooc: meeting in the holy district is probably a good idea actually, so we can act as a group tomorrow.

Sarge grumbled, he was tired and needed that water. "Talk about silence, we're going to burn the culprit to the megablocking ground." He sighed, obviously furious and ignored the Enki. "An attack on a sister is an attack on us. We gotta be methodical bout this, may be another sister offing her opponents. I'll mix some water with a remedy; if that don't work I'll continue in the morning and you meet with boomers, hunt down that black market." He shook his head and searched the body for clues and equipment. "This means something." He hesitated then continued "Somewhere out in that city is someone who thinks he can megabluck with us. Let's go prove that dipshit wrong" he grinned at Eric and drew the Demonic greatsword with a shing He collected the poisoned water in a bottle, mixed it with a remedy and drank it.

Sarge leaned back and rolled his shoulders, he sighed and faced Eric. "Back onto Reno, he was me commanding officer when I was a marine, for five years, til his dad died. Quiet bloke, most of us thought he was a bit wimpy to be a captain; but what did we know, Bonapartes heirs don't tend to talk to their soldiers much, and he never got many of us killed." He looked furious for a moment then composed himself. "But he put his life on the line when he lost his eye. Nemo didn't do that. Anyway, if lads like me weren't there to fight for their sorry megablocks they'd both be dead." He said this last word with a very disconcerting smile. "Just like their dad." With that last sentence he downed a slug of curse cure and wiped his mouth with a small gasp. He looked at the sky, trying to judge time of day. "We'll to that place in the bog, fountain wossaname. See if we can fend off sleep. Cos we got a dead were-panther, and some black marketeers to catch" he smirked and pulled the Demonic greatsword halfway out of its scabbard, letting it glint in the late sun. "We'll meet with the rest of the party in the holy district at midnight" Ooc: that's the meet point guys , these sub-quests'll be easier as a party. But I do realise that Heckz needs sleep too. Sarge and Eric headed for the Fountain of Danab in the Kalakita bog.

At least it's less edgy than, I dunno, "Dark-shadow" or "Angst-vengence-mourning" Don't get any ideas.

I'm pretty sure Sandy literally just said "Choose your side" with 3 banners.

It proves my point, we're better than this. Anyway, I don't know how the clash will be arranged but I can guess there won't be much leverage for player factions. Probably for the best

A. Mr Cullen is the actor, and B. We're better than this. We're voting on our fictional character's favourite fictional organisation. Sarge's would be the illuminati. The shame is that Lind is bitter that the league of old men got more votes than his precious edgy Shadeaux.

"You want your share of this when we get to Eubric? More gold that way." He strolled over to the Boutique, looking for some talisman, something that might help his affliction. Whilst not a particularly religious man, some favour with Danab might be nice, so when he spotted the prayer beads he bought and equipped them.

Lind, you fail to realise that the league of old men, Phlynn Phlisperer appreciation society, and King Guts are all very serious and established organisations with bingo nights on Tuesdays. You can't delete them, they're almost the 7th, 8th and 9th houses.

I'm on holiday and my Accommodation's WiFi is dysfunctional. But I'm back Monday if it won't work before then
