I'm sure some of you are fed up with the Unimog and can't see it anymore... But here is a sneak preview of my overhauled Unimog U400 and my pneumatic tipping trailer. I also added rotating beacons provided by Zmei_gorini4. I will add some better pictures to my Brickshelf account later.

Nice model and video review! Personally I would love to see how the muscle car would look like when using the tires of 42000 on the rear axle. Is anyone able to show such a picture? Thanks in advance.

The points Pat_Ard referring to are good ones. I also would recommend to change these things. For a better realism you also can add a pneumatic cylinder for tilting the dump bed. When looking at the battery box issue, with some modifying you can put the battery box behind the seats. But this may require the use of a smaller battery box: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=84599, http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=87513c01

Looks great! Is it possible to show how this wheel cover would look when mounted on the original lego rim? Is this Wheel cover only mounted via the axle hole or does the 4 edges have any clipping function? @ Pat-Ard: Why not use a 900/60 R 42 as reference? This is also possible on the Xerion 5000. Just more expensive...

I can recommend these third party pneumatic hoses: http://www.ebay.de/itm/20m-Schlauch-SET-fur-TECHNIK-hose-tube-Pneumatik-Hydraulik-Druckluft-Schlauche-/181031508463?pt=DE_Allesf%C3%BCrdKind_Spielzeug_Lego&hash=item2a265199ef They fit perfectly on original Lego parts and they are a bit more flexible then the original ones. In my case it was also possible to vary the colours to my request.

Nice one! I'm really surprised that this kind of simple mechanism works quite well and seems to be reliable in all kind of curves you drive with the Unimog. I would recommend to use a large LA if possible. The mini LA cannot handle much load. I will try to put this mechanism in my own trailer (post #1509). Great, that gives your trailer a very unique touch! I also got my pair of beacons from Zmei_gorini4 this week. I hope I can make a video soon.

Look at the other products this guy sells at the moment: http://www.ebay.de/sch/eisenbahn-nrw/m.html?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEFSXS%3AMESOI&_trksid=p2053788.m1543.l2654 I'm aware of 3 sellers at this auction house who frequently sell MOCs which are made by Eurobricks members. They also use the freely available LDD files, create building instructions and sell them. Some time ago I reported every mistrustful MOC (which I definitely know from this forum) to the support of the auction house, but it seems this doesn't have had any effect. I remember a auction with building instructions for 30 Unimog attachments. At least half of these attachments were MOCs by Eurobricks members. I also gave Cypr-21 notice of replicas of his MOCs (snow blower and spreader) by a comment on his website. He never gave me a reply and he also deleted my comment. So, it seems not everyone cares about that... The least that I would do is to write to the sellers to refrain from selling my MOCs and those from other builders.

Nothing special, ha! These beacons are great and add a nice step to a better realism. Hope I'll get mine during the next week. I'm excited to see the trailer more in detail, because this one is also in my building queue.

Nice first modification, and even a realistic one. Is the dump bed able to tilt to all three sites? It seems you placed the pneumatic cylinder more in the left of the Chassis.
