There may not actually be the relevant display case there, but there is this picture on the website! (Look closely at the main display case and you will notice there are Pirate boxes inside) (Shame it wasn't there! Flase advertising methinks )

Ah yes, perhaps I should rephrase. "There is no Police Car in the Lego City free gifts" By my calculations the set should arrive around Monday 8th December I wonder if Toys R Us will have any sets for 09' before Christmas this year...

If only TLG's weapons were as detailed as that... (yes, I know they wouldn't make a war theme but perhaps for any future Greeks or Star Wars weapons)

Sounds very difficult, without using Brickforge or Brickarms! I haven't studied Greeks since I was 10-12!!!

Got my first Police Helicopter Voucher! I'm going to collect the FIRST SEVEN vouchers and send them off as fast as possible! I may however get duplicates of the Coast Guard bike as it may be in the new Power Miners Excavator. @ randomparrot: there is no Police car.

CRYSTALS! *regains composure* so many different coloured crystals! I like the fact that every monster is a different colour for each set! I especially like the fact that the red monster seems to only come in the smallest set (there might be one in the excavation rig) These sets certainly look quite cheap - I hope they ARE! Is this what you're talking about? Weird! I'll have to check some other boxes and see if there are any others (Lego of course ) EDIT: The Agents Command Centre's Box is quite odd! Another case of continuity ruined by showing play value! Just imagine, those villains could just land INSIDE the WIDE OPEN truck and release Dr.Inferno easily

Ah! Free advertisement of my thread. Thanks Klaus Dieter I voted (I think) mill and church as my favourite buildings. What I would really want is a smaller affordable set which is between £20 and £30 (you do the usual Lego maths!) I also voted to see a hangman, but I highly doubt TLG would produce this.

Yes, that's rather a lot of cash! I could barely afford one on its own!

Hi everyone! I though with the release of the Medieval Town and a vision of an Orc wench, we can now discuss new sets for 2009 as speculation. It will be interesting to know what everyone actually wants, condensed into a poll. I for one would love the idea of any Elf sets at all, but I do love the sound of an Orc castle rumoured before. I also think the crownies need more war machines, but you can decide... (Please forgive me if there's already a thread for this) Sorry for the repeated title in the poll overview!

Wow, that would be a good set, what a change! We haven't had a good evil Castle since the second incarnation of Knights Kingdom with Vladek's Castle. I expect that there would be at least 2 ordinary knights and/or extra dwarves and a heavily armed mounted knight. There would probably be quite a few Orcs Oh, and just one other thing - I am now Sir Rancor!

I would predict between NZ$120 and $160 but I don't live there.

I think patience might be the key. More pics could show up very soon - Maybe later today and tomorrow!
