BTW I think Choas Catapult is an excellent troop builder, you get a knight and baddie and a catapult, all of which could be multiples

I'm happy Flama is male for selfish reasons. Perhaps his name should be Flamo

Wow lots of consternation about this jester cap. There's a lot of inconsistencies between the show and Lego. I think the show was based off of preliminary stuff.

The hover horse really is the best bike style vehicle I've seen, Star Wars speeders are just not as interesting as this fantastic build. Just realized Moltor is unique to the Lava Smasher. Guess I may be compelled to grab him.

But, you also get a silver helmet with robin! It might be chrome or gold! Very interesting! What set might it come in....Volcano base!

-Ultimate Robin is actually pretty cool. The silver armor and helm look really nice and the backpack as a jetpack or legs is actually pretty neat. After seeing how detailed the bad dudes are I decided to collect all the ultimates. - Clay's twirling robot arms are kinda fun. His flaming sword and shield are great options. - Beast Master's twirling goblins are interesting...but maybe more interesting with the chains attached to one hand and the drill in the other. I don't really see this guy with a shield, unless it's that warp shield. Great silver print on the legs BTW. -Lavaria, spider legs, shield and staff are a tad unweildly together. Spider legs are cool though nice body printing. I like the wings and cowl. Oh she comes with a different stud Shooter that looks like the one that comes with the ballista but shoots studs instead of round tiles. - Macy, great expression on her face, the flaming axe is the real draw here. The giant gattling cannon is too big and offset to even imagine her walking around with it. I like the red and trans red armor...but personally not a fan of this helmet design in transparent red. As for the stud shooter, maybe on a Fortrex it would be appropriate. I don't have Arron I asked my GF to grab it for me for Christmas, she's been a tad busy so I'm still waiting. (Arron is my favorite design) Side note: the Choas Catapult driver looks fantastic, so far my favorite grunt. Also the Catapult looks great with a couple of dudes on it.

The good news, he can buy up two whole stores if he wants... And yet Lego produces more than sufficient quantities, and allows you to buy ALL current items day one of release date online. Unlike (Another Company), where if someone did that with a popular Transformer, or Starwars figure...you might be out of luck and old stock is put back on the shelf, you probably won't find it at their store online...if you do its for limited time. Only thing is the heroes are made up of mostly unique characters. Pawn- Squirebot or Soldiers King- King Queen- Queen Knight- Clay and Lance on hover horses Rook- Arron and Macy in Mini Fortrex, Bishop- Merlin...uhoh Maybe Hologram Merlin and Physical Merlin. We still haven't seen Clay's I hope it's a set by itself... In my dreams!

Wow these are fun just picked up a couple of baddies, did not think I'd like these this much. Infernox is the best way to get a hover horse I think!
-
Amazing idea

I picked up ultimate clay as well, because Arron was absent... Ultimate clay is awesome... I've never been so pleased with a couple of sets.. The spinning blades and display are very impressive. Inferno is such a perfect monster, and initially I wanted to avoid the monsters.. Arron's steed is genious... I don't like Clay's helm as much but it takes nothing away. 5 stars, sorry those are my immediate impressions.

He's really sturdy, more impressive in hand

Just got it from toysrus!

the Arron vs Lava Monster set with the princess, is that a Target exclusive?
-
Just saw Jang's review of the Jestro's set. The chewing function and platform rising functions are really nice. But I guess since its being pulled, people would have to be purposefully thrown into its maw.

Star Wars Constraction 2016 Discussion

Whoops -
Okay these are the final revisions, some of the color is lost due to how expensive dark blue is. I've also used only pieces I could source. so I'll give it another shot. Please note there are a lot of exposed studs -those are for shields. I added steps to the drawbridge since it has a steep incline. Changed the engine room for a steering room, a boom box under the bed, and a lock to keep the halves closed. I also tried as much as possible to minimize the number of different pieces. Oh yeah I changed the color to mostly Bright Blue to match the distribution of color that most Nexo Knights sets have.
-
I did, I made a much larger version, but I'm frustrated because sourcing bricks for the larger one was getting ridiculous. I wish there was a better way to source bricks on BL http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117500#entry2400307 I tried a couple of different colors but there are a lot of different types of bricks, making things difficult. Anyone have a better way?

Because he has the bannana shooting option
-
Fortrex is amazing!
