  1. Lest we forget, there were two very similar white horses which only varied by some detail on ten bridle. I’m not sure now if only one of them was ever on PAB, as one definitely came in a bunch of smaller sets with The Lone Ranger sets, and was pretty readily available.
  2. Well I’m guessing that ‘plain white horse with only printed eyes’ is pretty generic, and other horses have jumped between licenced and unlicensed sets so 🤷🏽‍♂️ Not sure I’d ever look at animals appearing in Harry Potter as the example - as that’s notoriously nonsensical. Somehow JKR has the rights to most species (but not all) of owls, specific cats, and Neapolitan Mastiffs, but not rats, pythons, or any mould that starts life as a ‘patronus’ .
  3. Previous all-white horse, despite being in a Marvel set, *did* show up on PAB tho …
  4. Fair. Fans are *the worst* 😅
  5. With your bespoke Lego fox ice cubes in?
  6. What’s this glass-half-full nonsense!?
  7. I actually wish the one with the vest was ‘solid’, and the retriever mould we got, as I think it’s much better. Fascinating that neither have been produced in black yet, too.
  8. Oh I forgot about the movie! I also wonder if they’d stick to just 12 slots, given the old issue of including the main family each time… Indeed! Who knows what weird conversations and caveats and issues go on with licensing deals though. Heck have they even touched the Muppets / Seesame Street with Brickheadz? By now we should have had AT LEAST a Sesame Street CMF and be onto a Fraggle Rock one …
  9. DC would be good. Would be nice to get some versions of the Teen Titans, Booster Gold, Blue Beetle etc. I’d love to see a full on Marvel X-men series too, and I don’t think revisiting the Simpsons is beyond the realms of possibility either. Sesame Street might also be a nice one, complementing the Muppets and the retired Ideas set.
  10. Some of us are very old, and a year and a half is such a long time …
  11. I mean I can deffo see a pirate ship and a helicopter costume somehow appearing. And I think the food costumes still have a whole bunch of fruits and veggies to explore 🥦🥑🍍🍎 … but I also don’t really want to accidentally will them into existence 😂
  12. Indeed, but a red fox *could* be done with simply one orange(ish) coloured mould and some face printing - especially given the size of it. Whilst dual moulding might be nice for the white/orange colours, just imagine how expensive and complicated that mould would be! … what’s that you say? Less complicated than a red panda or a toucan which have come in cheap retail sets & CMF respectively? Well, yes, but they’re already telling us the white fox is somehow very complex and expensive so they have to keep going with that schtick… As an aside - though I have limited use for the dogs-with-vests per se, I have to say that was an excellent mould & splendid pupper. The Golden one with the Christmas jumper is especially great.
  13. I fear we must steel ourselves, as the three series run of ‘meh’ to us has probably raised our hopes a bit for Series 29 - when in fact at least half the slots will be yet more costumes and ‘kids doing a thing’.
  14. Which is still about four times as much as it should retail for. I don’t think it’s dual moulded. One piece that has been produced as both dual moulded and then ‘one colour’ is the Friends penguin, which turned up as an ice sculpture in a Lunar New Year set. That was pretty obvious in having a join in the moulds, even when supposed to be one colour, IIRC
  15. Hmm, they didn’t appear ever in any sets, just the one CMF. So do they count? Have you seen how expensive and rare they are on the after sales market? Almost half an Arctic fox!
  16. It’s actually really surprising how few ‘city’ animals we have. Squirrels are not that old, pigeons brand new, and we have rats. no swan, duck, fox, raccoon, hedgehog … Hey @lifeinplastic, it’s great that you love Lego animals, and we will pass your comments onto some nebulous team who don’t care!
  17. If Lego are listening and want to appease me personally, then a black raven, red fox and new beaver in CMF 29 would be the way to do it. Chuck in a puffin and I won’t complain ever again. Maybe.
  18. Like none of us have the fox in hand to know for sure, unless we cashed in one of our Faberge eggs.
  19. Yay *waves very small flag* just the six months to wait!
  20. Which explains the German Bricklink shops who have hundreds of them.
  21. And the quality *so high* that some of them cost the earth
  22. Don’t you dare try and make the Arctic foXXX a good news story.
  23. I am sad at our very slim pickings.
  24. Stop being greedy - enjoy your white clam!
