  1. You’re right - it *does* need a Fab Five loft added …
  2. Honestly if folks don’t stop making this about it being too woke or too many female figures, I’m gonna have to buy it out of woke spite. Loving Wokebeard the Wizard and the slaying queen though.
  3. And some of the female knights, and some of the gender non conforming knights… 😜 Honestly, you don’t like the figures’ hair, face, or handbag - swap it out. People coming on here crying ‘woke’ are doing themselves no favours. No one cares, certainly not Lego.
  4. Arguably six, not four. Nutcracker, fairy, reindeer, elf, Turkey & snowman. who are we to understand the CMF series logic?!
  5. It’s also more pronounced given the amount of licensed series which often yield little critter-wise
  6. ZERO animals in CMF S23. That’s quite rutted for a ‘regular’ series. Even the last ‘celebration’ series (18) gave us the new mouse and some other small critters.
  7. Is that just the existing Egyptian headdress in all-white? I did wonder if it would meet your exacting standards … knowing you wanted them
  8. Nah, lots of the early stuff still shows up in my experience. The nurse’s torso from series 1 is pretty regular at making a comeback for example
  9. Urgh. Not expecting much animal wise from Avatar sets, though maybe we will see some interesting recolours of existing moulds. Hope it yields some interesting foliage colours though.
  10. Not exclusive to BAM though
  11. Pretty sure I’ve only ever seen a normal stick / lightsaber blade / bar in white Element ID 6116602
  12. New colour, or new mould? I’m not familiar enough with Avatar stuff to know what it should look like Looks like the ‘hearing aid’ head is reused in the upcoming big Roller Coaster set too. Not an especially easy way to get it, but continues the theme of representing visible disabilities in sets.
  13. Will be interesting to see if some are passable as ‘not costumes’ or have useful parts. I’m honestly a bit -meh- at costumes at this stage, but recognise they’re popular and can yield useful bits and pieces.
  14. Think that’s all of them.
  15. If I recall correctly the last dragon suit figure had no accessories, which I assume was down to it having lots of constituent parts. But yes, you may be right. Especially if no new moulds used. I also wonder if any of the Vidiyo moulds like the dragon wings might be used.
  16. Really poor. Like they’re just phoned in.
  17. Having now seen the movie, it really strikes me how Lego did a total disservice to the female minifigs in this range. That’s especially true for the POC characters, Kayla and Santos, but it’s true across the board in reused head and poor hairpiece options. Wonder who has the final say on that, must be gutting to be an actor and be immortalised badly in a minifig!
  18. Nice haul there @cebelicamya ! Looks like the sort of orders I place - animals, plants and hairpieces! So far Series 23 seems a bit disappointing animal-wise, will be interesting to see what new moulds it throw up though. Series 18 which was on such a similar vein gave us that gorgeous new mouse piece … so who knows if there’s anything lurking. looking at the top down shot of @cebelicamya ‘s order of animals made me think. The ‘normal’ dogs are about the same size as the normal sheep, I wonder if the extra fleece piece might be foreshadowing a new wolf mould at some point … which the fleece can fit on so we can have a ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ !?
  19. He was comparing the smallest set in each of the two consecutive (animal-featuring) years’ City waves
  20. Yeah something seems odd… the number of seasonal characters is interesting. It’s been a long time since a regular series included quite so many.
  21. It’s the goat series. 12 goats designed in the style of classic minifigs … Johnny Thundergoat, King Kahukagoat, Cheerleader goat … 😂
  22. U.K. folks might like to know that Argos has chunky discounts on most if the new & recent Jurassic World / Park sets. Most have at least 20%, some have a third off. Presumably timed for the release of the movie these are also echoed on Amazon U.K., Smyths toystores, and in B&M. Pays to shop around between them, as there are some variations price.
  23. Presumably timed for the release of the new movie, Argos has big discounts (most at least 20%. Up to 1/3 off) on new and recent Jurassic World / Park sets 🦖🦕 These are replicated (roughly) in Amazon U.K. prices and also in B&M stores, though they have less of the range. Aaaand Smyths toy store. Discounts do vary a lot on some sets, so it pays to check them all ;)
