  1. I had a crocagator B&P issue a couple months back when they were left tail-less too … but that was sorted more quickly
  2. @Aurore you have such a wonderful eye and imagination in putting parts together, I’m in awe.
  3. Can’t believe you’re making jokes when Lego is dealing in the trade of parts of endangered species! 😱
  4. Tomorrow (21st) is Gorilla day in my Lego animal advent. Yesterday, my initial B&P order of gorilla arms eventually shipped from the warehouse. The bodies remain in limbo. 🙃
  5. My order from October 9 (gorilla arms) shipped yesterday. My order from October 26 (gorilla bodies) remains in the warehouse. I feel like a poacher trading in endangered animal parts
  6. Also those polls need to be taken in context. This is a very self-selecting group, and folk only get to choose one
  7. Oooh just thinking … it would also be nice for some Arctic wolves to appear, now that we have the mould for the wolf (and, arguably, cub).
  8. One would assume they do indeed include *some* animals, or else, what marks them out as being in the ‘Arctic’? I think we can probably bank on a polar bear reappearance …
  9. Yeah the harpy is a mess. By rights it should have come with new wings as arms though
  10. Not that I know of, unless maybe such things came via Bionicle? You’re right though - a ball wing joint would be more poseable and organic
  11. Fun fact - it’s not a sulphur-crested cockatoo! The crest is in light bright orange and it has a corresponding cheek patch, that means it’s pretty damn accurate as a citron-crested cockatoo, which are endemic only to the island of Sumba, in Indonesia. Apologies to all Aussies, but you’ve been short-changed here … and rather than a relatively common cockatoo, we actually get a very specific, tropical one. I’m guessing the stylistic choice to use a light orange was because yellow is the ‘flesh colour’ of the minifigures, and of course we could always see a recolour down the line …
  12. I mean, at this stage I assume we have all given up second-guessing the CMF plans, or trying to make sense of them, no?
  13. I have to admit, I have largely been able to discount the Friendsified animals, but every one of those ChOnKy CaTs is adorable and makes me question my own boundaries
  14. ZOMG have just seen them and they are the MOST ADORABLE THING EVER!! The new ‘squishy’ toy animal from S27 also shows up in some Friends sets as with new prints
  15. We have still never had a Friends mould that crossed over like that though … unless maybe the ‘small bird’? I now can’t remember where that originates The original ones are still in the warehouse. Don’t start me!
  16. And so it begins! Today’s the first of December - so the Lego Animal Advent calendar is GO : https://www.instagram.com/p/DDCEFC1CShb3q2hR-RzRd1UBACzFI_WMZFZivQ0/?igsh=MXdtenBkdmlqNjFvdw== and no, I’m not adopting anyone 😝
  17. I’m surprised a stoat/weasel mould hasn’t already shown up in Harry Potter tbqh
  18. I don’t *know*, but would assume it’s the same in practice for moulds. Snakes are very much being cheaped-out in sets lately. The unprinted python in the Malfoy Manor set is unforgivable when it’s basically a key character! That said, I like the recolour of the ‘old’ rattlesnake mould in tan, that’s a useful colour for once
  19. I think it’s most definitely an ex-camel, pining for the fjords.
  20. Please don’t cancel me when it’s only FOUR SLEEPS until Lego Animal Advent begins … won’t someone please think of the children!
  21. I do think some Lego fans also place a little too much in what the ‘official Lego name’ is on parts and figures. I mean, I get it, but you’re allowed to have your own interpretation in the same way you’re allowed to *braces self* not follow instructions.
  22. But wolves and dogs are interchangeable according to @Roebuck - and he is the guru 😝
  23. I’m surprised a stoat/weasel mould hasn’t already shown up in Harry Potter tbqh
  24. They had a brief team up with Nat Geo on some of the oceans sets IIRC
