I don't know if anyone has seen this photo yet, but here is the official Marvel promo poster for The Avengers merchandizing line; it features the first look at Hawkeye, as well as new suits for Captain America and Iron Man: This was released at the Licensing International Expo 2011. Imagine if these got made into our favorite ABS counterparts!!! I really hope LEGO attended that event! ~tin7_creations

Hello everyone! Here's the sixteenth installment for my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! This Topic is also sadly the last Topic that I will post on Eurobricks before I leave for Hong Kong in two days. I will continue to reply to other Topics, but I will not be posting my own for a very long time. I just watched X-Men: First Class in theaters today, and while I enjoyed the movie, being an avid Marvel fan, I am disappointed in the roster of mutants the makers chose to use. You just can't have the "First Class" without Cyclops and Jean Grey!! Therefore, for my last Topic of 2011, I've decided to recreate the ORIGINAL "First Class", in the movie's image. I have also updated some previously made characters with new costumes after watching the movie. All the decals are my own design. Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces. Alright, let us begin; the sixteenth part in my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! Movies from this installment include: X-Men: First Class (2011). 109 - "Man In Black" (Oliver Platt) 110 - Cyclops 111 - Jean Grey 112 - Iceman 113 - Angel 76 - Beast (Nicholas Hoult) UPDATE 78 - Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) 101 - Riptide (Álex González) The Original "First Class" Hope everyone enjoyed this last post. I will be back, but not for a very long time. In 2 days I'll be in Hong Kong! Comments appreciated! Excelsior! ~tin7_creations Link to Series #1: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #1 Link to Series #2: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #2 Link to Series #3: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #3 Link to Series #4: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #4 Link to Series #5: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #5 Link to Series #6: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #6 Link to Series #7: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #7 Link to Series #8: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #8 Link to Series #9: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #9 Link to Series #10: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #10 Link to Series #11: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #11 Link to Series #12: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #12 Link to Series #13: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #13 Link to Series #14: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #14 Link to Series #15: Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series #15

I actually went ahead and emailed LEGO to cancel my order.... I've already found the sets in store, and LEGO hasn't even given me a confirmation yet.

The difference from being here and being at a store is that we are not employees; the decal makers here are using their free time to create decals, and they are not being paid to do this. Therefore, they have the choice to pick the decals that they want to do. Being rude and demanding will not make anyone do your decal any quicker. If I were you, and I requested something in Feb and still haven't gotten it by June, I would just use those four months to actually learn how to make my own decals instead of whining about it. Please respect the decal makers here at the MCW. ~tin7_creations

Hmmm. If TLG ever gets the license they should hire me as a consultant I'll relocate to Germany if they do!! ~tin7_creations

I seriously don't know what the credibility of the article is, but it's the first bit of 2012 news I've heard that involves LEGO. Which is why I decided to post it.

I just read this over at ComicBookMovie.com The link is here: http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/MarvelFreshman/news/?a=38403 Marvel Studios invited over 100 companies to the secretive set of their highly-anticipated film The Avengers, in Albuquerque, New Mexico for a “Licensing Summit.” An excerpt from the article said: "On Wednesday we were on the actual set of the film and there was a lot going on. Marvel shared that it was the biggest set they had ever built and when we stepped on the bridge of the Avengers Helicarrier, we realized they were very serious. It was like the bridge of The Star Trek Enterprise on steroids, just amazing to behold. We were not alone at this event as we joined with more than 100 licensees and potential licensees of Marvel with representatives from companies like Hasbro, LEGO, THQ, Disney and many more. " This foreshadows a possible LEGO license for the Avengers. Hope it turns out to be true! Any thoughts? ~tin7_creations

Hi all! I've finally completed the Kilowog minifig I planned from earlier. Kilowog (Voiced by Michael Clarke Duncan) The Head/Torso section and the Arms are made with Sculpey. Decals were also used. Also, I don't plan to make Tomar-re and Sinestro anymore, so here is the full decal set for Green Lantern free for use as well. Please remember to credit tin7_creations if you decide to use the decals. On a final note. I will be relocating to Hong Kong in two weeks. I will be staying with some relatives, here I have no access to Sculpey or a printer; so until I get my own place (which may take a few years) I will not be creating anymore new minifigs. This won't be goodbye though! I'll be back! Despite the fact that I will stop making new figs, I will continue to create decals and actually post them this time around. I will not be taking any requests at all though. ~tin7_creations

tin7_creations replied to hermione granger's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I believe that he's talking about my Rufus Scrimgeour minifig.. since I'm the only one who made one.. If that is indeed what you are referring to, then yes, it is indeed a Dastan hairpiece. Next time, just click "Add Reply" on the actual thread. ~tin7_creations -
I doubt Years 5-7 will equal more sets. Remember how a very successful LEGO Batman game did not garner more sets? The same thing happened with Indiana Jones too.

Can be ordered in Canada too! Already ordered all of them; shipping before June 1, 2011! ~t7_c

Hi all! Here's the newest set of Street Fighter minifigures! Minifigures in this set are: Abel and Dan. #17 - Abel #18 - Dan All the decals in this set are my own design. Everything that doesn't look like LEGO is made from Sculpey. As of now, this will be the last additions to my Street Fighter series, and the project has been officially dropped. However, I have designed decals for Sakura, and in the future if I decide to make her hairpiece, then I will post her. Thanks to all the people who liked this series! ~tin7_creations Link to Set #01 of 05: Ken, Dhalsim, E. BrickForge Unveils New Products
tin7_creations replied to Omicron's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Perfect! --> tin7_creations immediately goes to BrickForge to buy a Captain America shield for his already exceptional fig. It's time he gets a new accessory. -
One thing you should be worried about when painting actual bricks, is that paint adds layers. So if you layer the paint on too thick, the brick itself won't fit together with other bricks anymore. One suggestion is to build what you're trying to build first, and then add the paint AFTER the build. However, it probably means you can't reuse the parts. So it's all up to painter's discretion! ~tin7_creations

Hi all! Here's a decal for the character of Sao Feng from Pirates of the Caribbean played by Chow Yun-Fat in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007). The decal was designed by me, based on this screenshot from the video game: Feel free to use it for your PotC MOCs, but please remember to credit tin7_creations if you decide to use it! ~tin7_creations

Hello everyone! Here's the fourteenth installment for my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! It's a relatively small post this time; the characters are mainly re-imaginings of characters who SHOULD be in the Avengers, but are apparently NOT. There's also an update of the Hawkeye fig. Everything else was either made by me or modified LEGO pieces. Alright, let us begin; the fourteenth part in my Marvel Cinematic Universe Collectible Minifigure Series! This installment only features characters from The Avengers (2012). 98 - Wasp 99 - Ant-Man 100 - Black Panther UPDATE 16 - Hawkeye For the Hawkeye fig, I gave him a new costume design; something that seems closer to the X-Men movies. Hope everyone enjoyed this new post! I have no idea what to do for my next post; I've exhausted all ideas, and I can't think of any new themes to make. Any suggestions? By "new themes" I mean anything that is NOT Marvel I'm getting really tired of making Marvel figs, especially with no new imagery from the new movies. Comments appreciated! Hi everyone! I'm relocating in June, and moving from a big house to a small apartment; I no longer have room to put much of my LEGO. I'm trying to sell off a lot of my sets. Here's a list: 7782 - The Batwing: The Joker's Aerial Assault ($150 USD) 7783 - The Batcave: The Penguin and Mr. Freeze's Invasion ($350 USD) 7785 - Arkham Asylum ($300 USD) 7623 - Temple Escape ($100 USD) 7627 - Temple of the Crystal Skull ($120 USD) 7683 - Fight on the Flying Wing ($70 USD) 6253 - Shipwreck Hideout ($60 USD) 8635 - Mission 6: Mobile Command Center ($100 USD) 8637 - Mission 8: Volcano Base ($120 USD) All of these sets are used, and do not have boxes. However, they are complete with instruction manuals, never played with, and merely put on display (in a pet and smoke free home). As I am a minifigure enthusiast, some of these sets may not have minifigs included. I will update the list when I inventory my minifigs. Prices are negotiable, to all those interested, please pm me your offer. Please do not post any offers if you are not serious about buying. Also, I will not accept trades, as I am trying to get rid of my stuff; not trade it for more stuff. I'm also selling these sets on BrickLink, at the prices that I've listed. The sets are first come first serve. To potential buyers: If you are interested in any of these sets, please pm me the price you wish to pay. And if we come to an agreement, please pm me your address so I can calculate the shipping price. All payment must be recieved before shipping. Hope to do business with you! ~tin7_creations
