  1. I love the Two Face fig, great hairpiece design, and very good torso patterns
  2. My cousin and I have been playing around with a mecha design, we created a little game out of it. Rules: Each player has a character and a mecha. The character's armor and hat can be customized to add defense or attack. The mecha has to follow a standardized design, but the four limbs can be replaced with different weapons to add attacks. The main point of the game is to knock the opponents cockpit off the mech, which is only attached with one stud. After winning a match, the winner can pick a brick from a pre-sorted pile of SNOT pieces to create new weapons for the mecha. Sounds kinda stupid, but it gets fun when you keep trying to create new weapons! Here are some pics: My mech: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3099861928/ My cousin's mech: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3099028771/ The cockpits are detachable: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3099862212/, http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3099862948/ And, we conceived a little tournament for our next family reunion, where all our other cousins would build their own mechs and pilots, and battle out in The Grand Prix: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/3099028625/ (Grand Prix set from Speed Racers) The game sounds a little corny, but it was fun, at least my younger cousin enjoyed it immensely; the joy of seeing a young child smile I want to hear some ideas on how to improve this, hope to get some replies!
  3. actually, the crystal skull sets were pretty late for me too, metrotown isn't the fastest toysrus in BC... the agents sets came out surprisingly early though, as did the batman 2008 ones.
  4. That is not true! None of the Toys R Us in Vancouver have them yet, I've been looking for them ever since the reviews came out on EB, apparently, Canada gets new LEGO much slower.
  5. what's that piece with the tree roots? is it custom? or did you get it from a set?
  6. This might be a stupid question, but I've been trying to make a series of minifigs and I need to order parts. I have about 50 parts to order, but they're all in different stores, and in the current economy, shipping fee has suddenly become really expensive for me. Is there anyway to find all 50 parts in 1-2 stores, as opposed to the 12 different stores that I currently have to order from? Thanks!
  7. wow... finally new female flesh head, and hair, and a flesh bare male torso, now we just have to wait for a bare female one
  8. These are based more off the movie and the X-Men Evolution series. Although, I think the Ultimate X-Men have a similar uniform? As for BL... I don't have a credit card either, my mother refuses to let me have one until I can learn to "manage my finances."
  9. I'd like to use black dracula hair for Wolverine too, but i never procured it when it came out, and now, TLG is only making it in joker green. I could get it on bricklink, but i lack a paypal account.
  10. I recently got a Speed Racer set on discount, and it features Racer X, and I found the PERFECT way to use his torso, for none other than X-Men. I only had one copy of the torso, and there are a limited number of flesh heads, so I just scanned the characters into my computer 1 by 1 and photoshoped them, it's crappy photoshopping though. 12. the rock monsters look cool, but are my eyes deceiving me? or are the rock monsters all in different shapes and colors?
  13. wow, great use of the Joker poison bomb. it fits... the green face, the maniacal smile. great work
  14. ghostbusters... i can see that... but back to the future... it's been almost 20 years since the movie, many kids won't know what it is...
  15. would someone be able to make this series of dresses for my Disney princess minifigs: http://disney-clipart.com/Cinderella/jpg/C...-Dress-4-sm.jpg http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/p...uty-Posters.jpg http://drawingwomen.files.wordpress.com/20...-snow-white.jpg http://princesas.disney.sites.uol.com.br/princessJasmine.jpg please make these in flesh, thank you!
  16. these are very well done, great use of the Agents villain head for Moonraker.
  17. They look like a disappointment... although I shouldn't really judge until I see better pictures.
  18. i love the balista... would u mind posting an instruction for it? or parts list
  19. I love it... i'm speechless... you are a really awesome builder. i loved how u tiled up the 2x1 plates.. and the bridge..
  20. i'd like to see a toucan... although it can't be used for other themes (farms etc)... but it's exotic enough for me to put into my Lego zoo.
  21. it sounds really interesting... is it going to be a 30 minute cartoon or 10 minute shorts?
  22. it's selling quite well for my local TRU, all the small sets (missions 1-3) are gone... but everything else (mission 4-up) are stuck on shelves... the bigger sets are just getting too expensive.
  23. based on the article... does this mean that there's no more batman coming out in 2009?
  24. when would the prelim pics come out?
  25. this is really good!. i love all the special effects that you used. and the music works really well with the scenes. 1 question though, how long did it take to make this? cause for stop motion there's like 15 frames per second (if i remember correctly from the animation course i took). how many pictures did you have to take? i also like the changes in the faces. like when the fisherman pirate whistled! Also, the movements of the objects (especially the cannons) are very fluid, and realistic.
