i'm happy for the lego sales, it's good news, i hope they continue to strive.

really really cool. I like how you did the centaur. I made my own centaur before, but always found the body to be too big, hope you don't mind me copying yours! thanks so much.

This thing is AMAZING! Are those just vignettes of the inside? Or are the rooms actually built into the building?

I really like both of your cars. Your Spider-buggy, if it was made in cheap plastic instead of Lego, would look like something coming from a McDonald's Happy Meal. Your Jokermobile is the best, great color scheme, very original design.

you should use some decals to make his face a bit more white and sallow. also, add some dark circles around his eyes to make him look more menacing.

tin7_creations replied to tin7_creations's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
i did notice this one... but it doesn't come with that "evil smile"... the malfoy/belloq face has the evil smile i need, it's just missing the glasses. -

I just stayed up all night watching the live broadcast of the Opening Ceremony for the Beijing Olympics (it's from 4am-9am in Canada). It was really good, all the acts were stunning, awe inspiring. Did anyone else watch it? Let's here some thoughts! Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I noticed that there isn't an Olympics thread on this forum, so why not use this one? If one already exists then please remove this topic, thanks!

can you tell me how you made the body, what pieces you used? cause I can't really tell...

I think that the biggest "thing" for Lego Batman are the minifigs. Based on the screenshots of the game, most of the minifigs that I want have been designed for Lego. However, will they actually be made? Since new molds aren't cheap. These are some of the ones I can see that do not require new molds: Mad Hatter Commissioner James Gordon The ones that do require new molds would be: Batgirl Clayface Man-Bat Other figs that I'd like to see, that aren't in the game: Black Mask Ra's al Ghul As for buildings, I would so love it if they could stop with the vehicles. We need some more iconic Batman buildings besides Arkham Asylum: Gotham PD with it's Bat signal Iceberg Lounge Wayne Manor I'd love it if they made these buildings in The Dark Knight style, which would be more modern, since the ones made by TLG seem to focus on the Batman: The Animated Series show. They answered are calls in 2008 and gave us Harley Quinn, please TLG, have mercy and give us Gordon and Batgirl, and more rogues, Batman won't be complete without more Rogues to fight!

i love the 300 one. it's creative, it tells it's message, it's simple, and effective. you must make it. take it to some shirt printer and get the design printed, then sell it somewhere. i'd buy one.

What was the last movie you watched?
tin7_creations replied to EbonHawk's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I just saw The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor yesterday. I wasted a good $10 on the movie ticket. I should've saved the money to see Pineapple Express. The Mummy 3 is disappointing, but expected. I went in there expecting to be disappointed, I just thought that AT THE VERY LEAST they would've made it better than the first 2. How wrong I was. The first Mummy movie still turns out to be the best. Save your money if you don't want to see cheap CGI, and plot-less nonsense. Shame though, the actors are really good, it's just, the material the have to work with restricts them so much. I like watching Brendan Fraser movies, Journey to the Center of the Earth 3D was awesome. It's just, this movie is just plain boring, it's a waste of big talent. I remember how the first Mummy was borderline horror. This new one wouldn't even scare 6 year olds. -
My name is Justin, I'm 20, and I'm from Vancouver, BC Canada. I've been playing with Lego ever since... I don't even quite remember, probably since I was 3. I just remember that my first set is a blue bucket. I'm a huge fan of Lego Batman, Indiana Jones, Castle sets, and the newest line of Lego Agents. I'm more a fan of fleshies, and I still think Lego doesn't make enough of them. I also like minifig customization, working with sculpey and such. Other hobbies... hmm, I like sports, and television, and eating. Sorry that this is quite late, I joined in April, and only got around to doing this now

would you consider using flesh heads? cause I think Hermione's flesh head would work well for Trinity when she's not wearing glasses.

Anachronistic Castle - Spy Plane Shootout
tin7_creations replied to hewkii9's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
i love these, mixing medieval with modernism. The plane looks quite steampunk. -
you should try buying these on Bricklink first.
