Harvey "Two-Face" Dent *Finished*
tin7_creations replied to SirNadroj's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
That's really true, but you also forgot that awesome eyeball. I like how Nolan portrays these villains. I'm actually working on my version of how I think Nolan would portray The Riddler, I can't wait to finish it. -

Great work, but I think it could be improved if you use the hair for the Harvey Dent in the campaign poster (it has more volume). -

I'm actually working on a "half hair piece" for Harvey, I'm making it out of sculpey, and it's yellowish color. I was wondering how you got your hair piece to stay on? did you use glue? I'm trying to find a way to keep the hair piece on without using glue, cause I only have 1 copy of the TLG Two-Face head, and I don't want to ruin it by gluing something on. -
The Joker and Two-Face, and a whole bunch of Batman mobsters.

I'm sorry, but I couldn't find one that had my question. Please place this thread where it belongs. Thank you.

I saw some screenshots of the game and there are some parts that I want to know if they will be making: Riddler's staff? Clayface? Would TLG be making these? Same with Indy too. Will they be making the figs from the game in 2009?
-
If they do use Riddler, I would so cast Johnny Depp. Of course, I think Edward Norton would be great for the character, but he's Hulk, and I don't think Marvel would like DC using one of their actors.

I think it's kind of a pity that they didn't kill off The Joker. They should have done it, that way, we know that the Joker will never be back. Cause, quite frankly, NO ONE can portray the character as well as Heath Ledger. I think that they were trying to set up the story for a future sequel with Joker, but they did not count in the chances of Ledger dying.

I'm probably going to rework the Batpod again. The one I made was from what I interpreted from the movie. The one from the screenshots is actually much smaller, thinner, and less... detailed. I think.

Well, Christopher Nolan seems to be trying to place a more realistic and darker tone to the Batman franchise. If we get a third one, I can't see him putting in villains like Clayface, Mr. Freeze, or Killer Croc. When we get a third one, and "Realistically speaking", I think that Nolan might put Riddler. The Dark Knight has much deeper meaning than any other Batman movie, and you can tell that the villains (Joker and Two-Face) are heavily traumatized. Riddler has a very dark history (abusive family I think), Nolan would definitely be able to expand on that. And it would be quite exhilarating, to keep the audience constantly guessing. Nolan once said that Penguin is too unrealistic at this point in the franchise, so I doubt we'll see him anytime soon. I would very much love to see Nolan's take on Riddler if he decides to put him in the third one, and he can even cast Jim Carey again, he's proven time over time that he can tackle many types of roles. As you can probably guess, I'm a huge Riddler fan.

Yes, his pencil trick is amazing. But I believe that he wants his phone call more.

I loved it. Joker commanded attention in every scene that he was in. Heath Ledger's performance surpasses every other actor in the film.

I just watched the movie and fell in love with it, I decided to make a bunch of my own MOCS. Batpod: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2680753675/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2681570814/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2681570358/ Joker: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2680750379/ And of course, some of my favorite scenes from the movie. All of them star the late Heath Ledger, aka. Joker. Pencil Trick: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2680750297/ Hit Me: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2680749845/ I Want My Phone Call: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2680750055/ Please review, any feedback is appreciated. If you've already watched the movie you'll know which scenes these are. If not, I don't want to spoil it for you, so it's probably good that you don't view these until you've watched the movie. Alas, I botched up most of these with my sloppy Photoshop work.

Does anyone know if TLG is still going to continue with Avatar? I really like the show, but it seems that the TLG sets only place focus on season 1 of the series, which, may I say, is the worse of the 3, cause it spends too much time developing characters. If TLG is still continuing with it, I hope they make more sets for the newer seasons, with some of the newer characters.

I personally love the city ideas, especially the subway. if lego does make one, then it'll probably just be a convenience store instead of a 7-eleven. so you'll just have to add your own decals. also, definitely the zoo. i've been working on a lego circus for years... it has elephants, monkeys, bears and even alligators... but a circus just isn't a circus without lions and tigers. as for the licenses: star wars and batman have both sold very well, i know people who don't even like lego, but like batman, so they bought all the sets. these licenses attract more people to buy. fairly oddparents might be possible, since they're doing spongebob, i think TLG has license with nikelodeon. simpsons would be fun too, lego might be signing another license since they seem to have dropped harry potter. jurassic park has been done before in the studio line, i don't think they're going to repeat it as for ironman, i think the "other company" has a license for Marvel, it's the same reason why lego couldn't continue spiderman (i think ) i don't think kung fu panda is possible... no human characters. if u want kung fu panda, just customize your own. (you can pm me if u want some ideas for customizing "animal characters")

i had to read this for school, the novel albeit freaky, I fell in love with it, all that imagery and hidden meanings. i'd like to see more of it to come, perhaps you can make the scene with O'Brien and Winston in the little trip into Room 101. -
I've wanted to make some mecha animals for some time, you know, small mecha animals (kinda like pokemon, but mecha). I was wondering if anyone has seen any mocs online, I need some pictures to make references to. thanks.

you know, I think you should try making Hellboy's Trenchcoat, and try making Liz Sherman too.

these are great, I just watched Hellboy 2 yesterday, and the Hellboy fig is exactly the same.

By boss do you mean the Chief of the Agents? -
I personally don't need 3 copies of Agent Chase, and multiple copies of Henchmen with the same face. So, I used the torsos, matched them with existing Lego heads, and created a whole bunch of new personalities for Agents and Villains. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2663473336/ The brown hair, bearded agent is Chief, he is the head of all agents. The wavy black hair is the rookie agent, or Agent Fuss. http://www.flickr.com/photos/tin7/2663473818/ The one in the center with the blue flames from his fist is Dr. Nemesis, he is Dr. Inferno's second in command. The one on the left is Sharpshoot (I was going to call him Bullseye, but that would be copying Marvel Comics). He never misses. The one on the right who looks like a henchman, is Torment. He has unnatural super strength. I know the names seem lame, I used a thesaurus, so sue me. I will create more characters as I get more torsos, I hope to get more Agent Female torsos though, and I've got to get my hands on Claw-dette.

What should there be in the next Agents theme?
tin7_creations replied to Batbrick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
For Agents: I think that they should add a HQ for the Agents. It is quite obvious that Chase, Trace, Fuse, Charge are all Field Agents, so where are the Support Agents? They should build an underground HQ with computer labs, and analysts/technicians (CIA style). I can just visualize a round room, filled with support staff working on computers to get information, and technicians working in labs to create to vehicles/gadgets for the Field Agents. And of course, the Chief of Agents, or whatever the big boss is called. Also, more female agents. For Villains: I think an alliance with another evil factor would be good. That way, the villains that we came to love will still be there, as well as a whole new group for the Agents to pulverize. Dr. Inferno is fire, so maybe create a new evil factor with ice (I can see those light blue/trans-blue pieces). Then, we'll have fire and ice, the two extremes. -

Thanks for all the work making the decals, I know Scrooge's head is a bit big, so are a few of the other ones. Once I get more helmets I'll remake, Roger Rabbit, Stitch, and Scrooge.
