  1. 37 orders over the past year totalling about £3K says not. They have a limit of 200 on all parts. They know exactly how many are in the set, since they restrict you to that number if you want replacements for free. They would use the same system (just paid for) if this was only for replacing lost parts, restricting it to the number per set. They don't do this though, they allow you to buy 200. I regularly buy 200 of a single part. Sometimes multiple orders in a day ordering 200 in each order. So long as you are not buying 200 licensed torsos, they don't seem to care.
  2. It was before Christmas too. Carnage was in a cheap set anyway, so paying £1.63 for the torso doesn't really make sense unless you need a lot of them. You can buy the whole minifig for £3 on BL. The set has been on sale for £8, occassionally £6 in some places.
  3. You can get shipping for (almost) free, just like with PAB. If you order £50 in BAP, then add a 6p brick via PAB, the shipping is free. You will obviously have to meet the threshold for your country.
  4. Shamone.
  5. Didn't he mean LOTR designs based on the 1980s (I think it was late 70s) animated films. It would be interesting if LEGO were thinking of LOTR back in the 1980s, before they did 'proper' licensed sets.
  6. As above, that is a new part. It will appear in due course. I imagine quite a few people are waiting on that one.
  7. Dye won't work in this case, unless they release the hair in white.
  8. LEGO House minifig for Denmark?
  9. No, it often takes them a while to add replacement parts. There is often a delay between them appearing in sets and being available. Probably for good reason!
  10. Another cheap alternative is hot gluing 2x2 (or longer) plates or bricks to a piece of wood (studs up when the board is flat) that you can hang on the wall. Then attach the legs by the holes in the back to the plates / bricks.
  11. You need to go through the BUY section in bricks and pieces, not replacement parts.
  12. ^ Those heads were there before Christmas. I have some of each :-)
  13. A few parts have disappeared - mainly SH as far as I can tell (Cyborg, Hawkman, Green Arrow, Robin, Cap Cold, etc, Joker wig from tumbler). GL and Sinestro went before Xmas. Helicarrier figures still there though. They don't seem to have included much new stuff. I was after some nexo knights torsos, but they haven't been included yet.
  14. Team GB were limited in the sense that they were sold only in the UK (and possibly Ireland, if I recall correctly). However, they were not limited within the UK. They were available at a number of outlets, all the usualy places that CMF are sold. And there were plenty before and during the Olympics, they even went on sale for a while at the end of the Olympics.
  15. I don't believe that there are limits if you go through online PAB. If there are (999 or 9999 or similar), then phone them.
  16. Another way is to stand them on a baseplate. It all depends what storage / display space you have.
  17. You pay whatever your country's standard shipping costs are. It's free over a certain limit (£50 for UK) and can be combined with other items and help towards promos and VIP points.
  18. But then the same could be said for the entire Friends, Elves and Princess series for some people. And that would mean the loss of minidolls and all the customers they have brought in. Minidolls are here to stay and there will be new characters done in minidoll form that probably will never appear in minifig form.
  19. It would have to be a completely different head mold for minifigures.
  20. No it wouldn't. It would look odd to have a minifigure Beast in a minidoll set. It looks perfectly fine to me.
  21. I hadn't heard that. I'm fairly sure S12 and S13 were out in Belgium, The Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark. Not sure aout Luxembourg and Finland though.
  22. Don't think about price per part. It's completely misleading. I could sell you a load of parts at 8c a piece, and would be ripping you off. Conversely I could sell you a load of parts at 50c a piece, and you'd be getting an incredible bargain. Think about what the parts are, rather than how many there are. Will you use them, if so get it. If you won't, it doesn't really matter how much they are per part.
  23. Warwick Davis should get Yoda though, as he played him in a number of scenes.
  24. Which ones? We have had them all in the UK. There are people that want armies of shark men. Animal costumed characters are always popular, so they have done the right thing making him a common one.
