A Swing Ride, one of the most popular ride in the world. It use chains for the chairs like the real one. Inside the central support there is a xl motor that rotate and incline the top circular support. Then the centrifugal force do the rest of the movements. You can see it working here:

ok i could had even more playability to it, but i already had a good number of functions, theirs a brick light in the control room, the all body can rotate using 1 crank at the base , the motor and satelite dish at the top rotate when the treads moves, i put a folded quadcopter standing in a suport that can be unfold when detached from the tower, and you even got a working crane.

Thanks for the positive replies! #bubliblbe when you talk of modularity, is for binding with other mocs or is the existence of modularity between the own tower levels? The connection between buildings as this will integrate a display I thought about doing a drawbridge to connect the house to others buildings. If you're talking about levels modularity, it will be awesome but very complicated to transmit rotation to the top or make it stable to rotate it all as it does at the moment.

Here is my last steampunk MOC it´s a moving house a little bit inspired on the howl's moving castle ideology but a lot diferent. the house is composed by 6 levels, the first one is the entrance and the mechanical room. Up one level and you are in the acomodation part, next level it´s the control room and storage area with a crane to lift material. Just above you can see a cultivation area with some vegetals. The two last levels are the landing area for a quadcopter and at last the motor ,chimney, antenas and satellite dish. The rotation from the treads go all the way to the motor and the satellite dish. And all superior part can rotate using a crank at the base. More photos: flickr I hope you enjoy!

This is my shiptember that will become a shiptober, because i didn´t have time to finish it. it´s composed by a minifig scaled living space and a cargo area with a 6x6 exploration buggy. Each compartment have a detachable roof. A aplied a retractible landing gear that can support the ship weight. The cargo area have a ramp door to unload the buggy. The living space is not completed, i will had a lab, beds, infirmary and a wc. I´m also thinking about creating some kind of wings with reactors at the rear of the ship and improve the front, mayby add a cockpit with a windscreen. Hope you like it so far.

20. Masticator (Enforcers) Description: Pursuit car with wings to make jumps at the highway, all the functions and transformations are motorized and remotely controled. The main transformation is the wings popup revealing 2 missiles on both sides, another funtcions controled bby the same motor is the opening of the front of the car and two circular blades motorized by the driving motor are pushed to the front. Another motor controls and reveal a shooting canon. The last functions are the driving and steering of the car. Entry topic Normal mode: Battle mode:

Thanks braker23 and Alasdair Ryan! At the beginning of the contest I thought the guns popping out were the main feature to be included , but after reading the rest of the topic rules i realized that the transformation of the body was the most important thing. So i added to the wings more panels folding out to increase that body tranformation . I hope this is enough to participate. Otherwise i think i still can come up with another creation. In retrospective it isn´t easy to achieve a balance between body transformation and weapons popping out .- 18 replies

Thanks everyone! I thought the enforcers were cops! But if is not that way i just have to take off the lights on the roof to resolve that issue.- 18 replies

This is the first time i participate in a EB Contest, the challenge was a lot of fun. I decided to make a simple and discreet car with some kind of wings not to fly but maybe to make some kinds of longer jumps. About the weapons the first thing that cross my mind was using those circular blades, and that was the most dificult challenge because i wanted them to rotate with the driving motor. Then I added the maximum of mechanisms that I could incorporate into the rest of the empty spaces, like plasma guns, a shooting cannon, missiles and spikes, I hope this is more or less what it was intended to do for the contest. More photos: Flickr Technic details: - 2 M motors , one for the main tranformation (wings/missiles deployment, blades & spikes popout, plasma guns deployment) and the other one for the shooting cannon. - 1 Xl motors for driving and also for the blades rotation. - 1 servo motor for steering. I hope you liked!

About 3 years since the first brainstorming, we had some delays with the orders , and we made a smaller project defore we got the parts. Construction time took us about 2/3 weeks and planing take us much longer. First project made in 3 weeks by 4 people, this project helped us to define how we would prepare the final structure. Some big technic project in one of our events (technic train, building, T crane, led street lights, big wheel, etc...): This year we also made this Technic "door" for signalize the technic exposition room:

The plan come up after a brainstorming, we were thinking about doing something very big in technic with movement and a lot of details and this idea was the one that most appealed to us. We already made other big construction in technic like a bridge, cranes, buildings, technic trains, but nothing so complex as the platform. The video will come later, now we are making improvements to the mechanisms.

Hi, i present to you a 0937 comunity project, it´s a gas/oil platform with 1,20mt X 1,20mt and about 2 mt of height. The structure is very light but stable and very strong, we added 2 nxt to control the 2 cranes, the perforator, and the rescue boats, all movements are automatics with amplitude and timing randoms. Inspiration: LDD Tests: First meeting where we build the legs and separate and organize Lego parts. Evolution Final project exposed at the Arte em Peças 2015: At the Arte em peças 2015 (picture with people to have a notion of size): 0937 Comunity Builders/Participants: Alexis, Ricky, Drix, Mguerreiro, Nine, Filipe Alves, Epombo, Américo Verde, Ana, LBaixinho, HugoSantos, Hugo.Tx.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

Yes it really does, i am considering slightly reduce the speed using a gear reduction in the ticket office.

Thanks! I think the use of Lego parts for the Canopy much more interesting, than the use of fabric. And he ended up looking better than I imagined.

This is my own vision of the best scaled and with better movements carousel. It has all the functionality inherent to this type of attraction, the horses go up and down, the same rotation also causes a tilt. The entire structure rotates, this rotation is done via a motor without the use of wheels / tires. The motor is located outside the structure. For me this is the ideal scale relatively to the two Lego carousel set's, because one of them is huge while the other is too small and has unrealistic movements, my version is a medium version. The structure has 16 segments making it little more difficult to build but a lot more round. If you like this MOC please support it. >> Lego Ideas
