  1. Ahoy, Mates ! Here is the first pic of my mega-secret-imperial-fort-project ! That's the entrance :) Lego MOC • Coming soon... by Hannibal Joost, on Flickr It will be a "modular" construction, easy to move and install !
  2. Nice feeling and great execution. I love the parrot cage, great idea :)
  3. Honestly, that's one of the best Lego Black Pearl I've ever seen... And theses sails... Congrats!
  4. I follow you on FlickR to see here all this "parts" of fort are going, and I never thought of something like this :) great job Mickael ! I can not wait to see the sea side of the bastion :)
  5. Great work on vegetation and rock... and water of course! The baby monkey is a great addition, but that baby tiger... lol The action is greatly rendered. Congratulations.
  6. Mozart is there... :p only french-speaking people can understand :D And Jean-Sebastien is Bach
  7. Guten Tag Captain Braunsfeld :), Thank you! The Maoi and island was a small challenge (building an Island in one hour to put the Islanders on it for the show). That's the point! In fact, some angles "doesn't exist" with LEGO Brick. That's the case with the angle at the left of the main door. I forced the diltatation of the bricks to attach everything together. Thanks for you comments.
  8. Thank you for your comment, Matthias. I think it's not the good period to post, due to vacation ;) I have worked hard to build this first version of the fort/port! And... I have to find a way to get many epaulettes :)
  9. That wood texture and the global shape are amazing. The sails are great too! Congratulations! Hope to see this in real life one day :)
  10. [pid][/pid] 252B This is a small exhibition I've done in a Toys shop near me. The soldier fort is in the first state, since I plan to do the upper part in a different way. 20140705 • Pic Wic • Villeneuve d’Ascq • Lego Pirates par Hannibal Joost, sur Flickr The Island is small, but it's another way to display Islanders people and to create a moai. 20140705 • Pic Wic • Villeneuve d’Ascq • Lego Pirates par Hannibal Joost, sur Flickr The first ship is the Imperial Flagship, the other one is my Brickbeard's Shadow of the 7 Seas previously displayed. 20140705 • Pic Wic • Villeneuve d’Ascq • Lego Pirates par Hannibal Joost, sur Flickr More pictures in this Flickr album : https://www.flickr.com/photos/98749353@N05/sets/72157645126079229/with/14399350960/
  11. The waterfall is strange for me but the overall look is great! Nice rock work and awesome wood construction :)
  12. The ship is quite strange for me (proportions), but the building is great ! Congrats !
  13. I agree with you, even if Lime is a good color to. Why not Olive Green or Dark Turquoise ?
  14. Thank you, Darth Punk :) I'm sure something bigger and less "bricky" (with slope instead of bricks) can be done !
  15. Hi guys, Here are the pictures of the ship and landscape : https://www.flickr.com/photos/98749353@N05/sets/72157644255835998/with/14181783842/
  16. Thank you ! I'll publish pictures of the opening of the ship and cabin soon ;) Thanks Sebeus ! Pirates are always a subject of interest for adults (AFOL or not) and children at a Lego Show
  17. Well.... finally not so original ; I'm quite disappointed. BUT... they said "And obviously the chance to have their name suggestion be the name of the actual LEGO pirate ship… We cannot make any promises" Perhaps not the final product name... And I'm just asking me how they would translate this name in french...
  18. Some of them are really inspiring, but it's probably hours and hours of design and work to do with Lego :) : https://www.google.fr/search?q=la+rochelle&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=FqZgU9WiC4jPOdCmgdAM&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAg&biw=1180&bih=761&dpr=1 https://www.google.fr/search?q=la+rochelle&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=FqZgU9WiC4jPOdCmgdAM&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAg&biw=1180&bih=761&dpr=1#q=saint+malo&tbm=isch https://www.google.fr/search?q=fort+boyard&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=pKZgU-yBO4LZOa6bgIgM&ved=0CAoQ_AUoAw&biw=1180&bih=761 Thank you yys4u :)
  19. "Winter is coming" :p No problem, Bob, but we can probably meet one day ;) Why not... :p But if I move, it'll probably on the west shore, where the french forts are :)
  20. That's a great LEGO ship... and great photos (a small problem with the lighting on the sunset, but not a real problem ;)) ! So great details inside !
  21. Yes ! You're welcome, Bob ! Note sure I'm good at organizing something, but why not ;)
