  1. Cheers guys/gals for all the nice comments. Thanks for Hopeso009 MOCpages link, thats great. As for Arealight, I bought the custom amongst others about 3 months ago. He opens and closes his store to allow time to make new pieces etc and when he sells out.
  2. Thanks guys. Here is a link to the MOC index, Hopeso009 has a few creations, but sadly has moved the pictures elsewhere so unless you saved them, I don't know where to find them now. He doesn't appear to have a Flickr and his Brickshelf folder is empty as well I have PMed Hopeso009 to see if he can help us out with his gallery link.
  3. Duck a L'Orange Just a quick MOC to make use of some newly acquired orange bricks. Jedi Master Icky Thump hopes to defeat the Confederate menace and secure the planet for the Republic. The ensuing fight revolves around a small colony with treacherous volcanic geysers and crazy "Astro flowers" which purportedly can power hyperdrives for millenia. Duck a L'Orange features a sweet custom Ithorian head from Arealight as well as the hard to find orange clone, and lets not forget Hopeso009 beautifully designed Assassin droids, which are great fun to build and look much more authentic too. Hope you enjoy Duck a L'Orange. Cheers ISC
  4. A great review WF! I recently purchased this set and was so happy I did, you beat me to the review too Great review of an absolute classic, cheers Mine too, now that I have it. I can't believe my Dark Ages started about a year before this came out
  5. Hmm it would appear I don't know the feet inches symbols I feel the same way about the roof, but was unable to come up with a satisfactory result. As for a bridge docks etc it was part of the plan but the space limitations and lack of water space stopped me. Cheers
  6. Fantastic choice. Well done Erdy, enjoy your new powers!
  7. Thanks for all the nice comments. Me too, something to fix I guess. Cheers 70cm/27' Im not sure about the transport of this baby to BW, time will tell. Thanks for the comments, and yes I do need some bigger posterboard, also need some good lighting for indoor shots too. Thanks WF, it took me about a month of slow building and it has kept me busy and away from EB, though I have a broken computer at the moment which hasn't helped either, using wifey's laptop at moment. Commission, that's a nice thing to say Yup, makes great lettuce. Wondered if anyone would notice the ball pins up there, its one of my favourite parts on this tower. Cheers all.
  8. Falcon's Tower UPDATED I have updated the tower. It now features an eight-sided roof, docks, more foliage, ,more smooth steps and more crazy EB members! I would like to present my latest and biggest MOC to date! First of all I must give credit to Noddy, who's creation inspired me so much from his entry in the CC Collosal Contest back in 2005, that I had to have a go at something similar. Here is a link to his beautiful creation which is soooo detailed. Hope you enjoymy take on an absolute masterpiece. Imperial Shadows, Alice, me, Stash2sixx, Erdbeereis, Hinckley and Svelte having a frolick! Sure to be more Brickshelf and Flickr Cheers and comments and criticism are welcome ISC
  9. I got my new title for pointing out Bluebard's mix up with Sly Owl vs Nadroj. Rather than writing "how embarrasing" i went for "how embarrasment". this is a saying from a comedy show back in the eighties if I am not mistaken. Kylie Mole is the character i believe.
  10. Congratulations mate, guess this means we will have to wait even longer for interviews now?! Good luck with the busiest forum.
  11. Perhaps they are factoring postage into the costs secretly to pay for shipping the massive boxes of air across the world. Congrats Sieggy on becoming a Root Admin.
  12. Well I would like to go through the trapdoor and fumble around in the dark looking for anything of interest.
  13. Check out cartoondudes flickr to see all of the new bounty hunters in Clone Wars Season 2 previewed at Comic Con. Hopefully we will get some awesome sets featuring great characters like Boosk! Aurrasing Cad Bane etc
  14. A great job to use all your grey and still create a lively castle with well placed characters and loads of action. The angles work nicely with the hill falling away nicely. The little rabbit is great with his cute cotton tail. I knew you were up to something big as you have been quiet for a while. How embarrasment
  15. Dynamite ladies, now we might find a woman who wont spurn our advances hey Jethro? So what should we really do with this dynamite?
  16. Well to me you have finished on a high note! this is my absolute favourite of the whole series, of which I have thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you so much for investing all this time in what has been a fabulous series. Well done and something you should always treasure.
  17. This is awesome Peterz, I love the look of the photos, i think everyone can agree that the pictures look a lot nicer with the plain background too. On to the MOC itself. I haven't had a go at Post Apoc stuff myself, but the ruins look fantastic. The use of trolls for mutants is top stuff. The action is well posed as well. The well looks great, the tower is sweet and the green mutant blood is a good idea. Well done on a nice build
  18. Whilst I like the idea of this Community build, you really need to lay down a size for modules, perhaps a town plan is in order. Once you have a list of the buildings you want to include, then you can get to work dividing up the town space etc. May I suggest a run down bank, corner store, petrol station, diner etc. Modules should probably be built on 32 x 32 bases to take in the whole size of a standard building etc. People will have more ideas for buildings than I but its a start. Then once you agree on buildings and roads etc, you can plot out the town plan. From here you can give people an idea of which sides of the modules will require fortifying etc from invading mutants/zombies/people. Then people can pick modules to build etc. Keep the ideas coming, but as you have started it Skinnyboy, you will need to be firm about the basic specifications so that the modularity and theme can be spread over all MOCs to truly make it a community build. Good luck. I hope to be able to contribute a MOC or two as time permits. As a faction, I really like the idea of the Orc/mutants they seem like a great menace for humans to battle with. See Peterz's moc Dont let them get closer
  19. Welcome aboard from a fellow Aussie, glad to hear you emerge from your dark ages! It really is a great time to collect Lego at the moment.
  20. What an amazing, massive, truly detailed, splendid MOC AC! You have created a masterpiece here The Abbey is awe inspiring towering above all. The level of detail is great to see, even down to the simple but effective cross. The angled walls truly lend this castle towards its landscape and help to shake the boxiness that can so often pervade a castle MOC. Lots of nice action too, but its beauty is really in the architecture. Well done and thanks for sharing this beauty, I look forward to consulting it when building my next creation. Cheers
  21. Great work CGH! I love the ornateness of the towers and walls. It has a real 80's feel like you say.
  22. What a nice looking set, A great review Jansued! Some great pictures of what looks to be a well detailed interior and exterior Modular House. Thanks. PS: Perhaps you could show us the back of the manual as no one has seen any pics of the UCS 10199 Super Star Destroyer
  23. Happy Belated Birthday Wout. Sounds like you had a great day!
  24. A very nice castle creation with a nice skew of characters! The scenery is not over done and as such the action and Castle facade take pride of place in this MOC. Well done Draggy! Some really nice building on this one. Cheers
