Red Moon Confirmation & Discussion thread
I Scream Clone replied to Hinckley's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I was very, very tempted to hit the report button on this one but remembered there were other ways to invite you over -
That is a beauty Dave. I love the poncho and revolver. The legs do look a little bow-legged though, the idea of Dillon to try the 75 slopes is probably the best solution I can see. All in all though its a really good build. Cheers

Ok, agent dmitry, first of all, welcome to Eurobricks. Please introduce yourself here and tell us a little about yourself and take the time to read the site guidelines too. Secondly there is no real reason to post in a topic that was last posted in 6 months ago just to say that the price is 400.00. Please have a reason in future for bumping such an old topic. It diverts attention from newer topics that people are sharing at the moment. Enjoy your time at Eurobricks, there are plenty of great topics and creations to keep you busy. The case is from the first release of the death star at a Lego convention (not sure which one) and either belongs to Lego or the person who set up the display (unknown)

A great review of an interesting set. On the one hand it offers a fairly ordinary looking shop design, but on the other it contains lots of interesting and unique parts that definitely raise my rating of this set. Thanks for showing off this set with such a conclusive review Inky

Thanks, I cropped a photo down to 48 x 48 pixels and then zoomed up. From there I painstakingly mapped out each 12x12 quadrant based on the colour palette I had available.

The whole scene comes together brilliantly AC! The capture and being surrounded, R2 and C3PO hiding, the bunker itself, even the angle of the photo really add up to a great creation. Thanks for sharing. ISC PS: Eurobricks guidelines for images are 800x600 or less

Wow, thank you all for the nice comments. I used lots of 1x2 1x3 2x2 as well, but yes you do need a lot of 1x1s, i almost ran out of white ones. Thanks Etzel, I cropped the picture down to even dimensions then shrank to 48x48 pixels, zoomed up the image and mapped out every single ^%$@$ pixel onto 12x12 grids at a time, needless to say it is quite time consuming but the end result is worth it and thanks for the Frontpaging buddy.

Hello Eurobrickers, thought I would share my mosaic of Heath Ledger's Joker from Dark Knight. and here is the inspiration pic. Cheers ISC

I was very happy with the quality of the Arealight Twilek's as well and thought I would add some action shots to Sieggy's review. Not just limited to SW Cheers

Welcome aboard Tobbe! I am sure Eurobricks will keep you busy for some time to come

This is a lively and interesting scene with a great back story Matn! The Steampunk machines are all lively and nicely executed. I think the balloon is my favourite. I love floating rock MOC's and you have nailed this concept really well. You are coming on as a builder all the time. Keep it up. Go Team Eurobricks! (MOCPages MOCathalon team )

Sorry, I am having trouble understanding what you are asking. Do you want to know how I built the outhouse?

This looks great LT. The stickers really lift the whole creation and firmly ground it in reality. One suggestion for the pants is to use a jumper plate and then one of the current clip plates on the top, this will then only require on rack like in real life and look like a coat hangar. Cheers ISC

Great to see you back building AC, i remember exiting my 20 yr dark ages and marveling at your work on FBTB, so its nice to see you on Eurobricks. Cheers

An amazing creation packed with details. Loving the bath and toilet. Great job.
-
Marcos this is a really nice creation. The blending of such basic colours works really well here. The white actually looks like grey stonework due to the green and yellow. Kind of the same way that sand green looks different on the GG when paired with tan and grey. All the lovely slopes on the corner work beautifully and the sidewalk is crazy. The rendering looks fantastic too. Well done again.

A really nicely designed Tavern! I like the action. The floor is nicely done, great looking tavern all round actually. I would have like to have seen the baseplate of the tavern concealed on the back but that is only a small nitpick on what is a great job.
-
Ok can we get the torches and put them back in the chamber in a North South East West pattern? From memory the statues were east and west. Is that right?

Welcome Marcus, Glad to hear you returning from the "dark ages" and welcome to Eurobricks. As far as MOCing goes, try picking a theme you like and start there. If you like Castle, then check out some great castle builders in our MOC index You will find MOCindexes in most theme threads. There are also plenty of good builders and groups out on Flickr (make sure you search for Lego as one of the keywords) and MOCPages, which is just Lego creations. Good luck and remember to enjoy the hobby

EB Community Castle Build: Discussion Thread
I Scream Clone replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
No one has submitted a LDD project for the Comm build. Perhaps it would be better to just make a new topic for it in History. It will probably get more exposure as well. Cheers -
This is a really great creation Badsneaker I am loving the flower beds and awnings on the ground floor. The top floor whilst beautifully designed feels a little bit too high to me in the final version. I feel the previous versions with the white and red lines break up the upper floor nicely and would be my preference. Great job once again.

Happy Birthday Svelte! Here is a lovely glass of red for you! mmmmm Claret. Don't mind the brain in a jar over in the sticky corner, he just needs a body.
-
This is indeed troubling that the statues have disappeared. Fortunately there are plenty of knives currently in peoples possession. I starts to strut around without my top on due to the relative safety we appear to be in.
-
Take a look through Flickr and MOCPages as well for contest groups. There are generally a few going on those sites too.

I am still present and packing only a camera and my wits, so i am screwed! Ok lets go with the possessive element of collecting. Who has an item found on this trip on their personage? There is the Sword, rock/s, is there a locket? crown?
