Grey lady "I am still not sure about the size of this plate, it seems freakishly large and doesn't match my decor." Red Lady "I know what you mean, look at the size of our mouths after all. Do you suppose they have any larger torso's in the ladies wear department?"

Happy Birthday to the guy with the easiest username ever! Good to hear you had a great day besides the blizzard.

Aussie sales! Share the news of LOCAL sales!
I Scream Clone replied to Darth_Legois's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
In Kmart today the Tan Creator house was reduced to $80, even though the shelf price is 99, so always check the price people. I still would prefer it at a further 15% off to make it a real bargain. The Apple Tree house was 65 at Kmart and 74 at BigW, that is quite a difference! I wonder if Kmart will raise the price later on, or BigW is being greedy? -
Lovely work DC! The rocks look great, the fort itself has loads of nice greebling/details to draw the eye in. The white panels are something I hadn't toyed with yet, but may have a crack down the line. The curved dock is great, though the ladder would look better if it was brickbuilt like in the larger category. Just feels cheap to put that type of ladder on when you can make a cooler one. The photos are nice and sharp too Good luck with the contest.

Thank you all for the kind comments and critique. See above quote, there are actually all sorts of different colours under the water I think I speak for most here in saying we would snap up a new Western theme for sure! Lets hope TLC gives it a go in the future, for now I will be happy with Pirates, PoP, and new Castle sets to get my historical fix.

Very nice. I might try that in my next creation. Great stuff and thanks for sharing Tom.

Welcome Mr Kelso, glad to see you traipsing around our neck of the kiddie pool AFOL woods. I still marvel at the amount of effort you have put into The Invisible Hand.

Welcome Troll Shaddix, enjoy your trolling at Eurobricks.

No offense, but one small bag of unknown parts is a terrible deal for 10 figures that retail for about $4 US each. It would have to be a pretty substantial amount of interesting parts to have anyone interested. Perhaps you could throw in some more details about what you are offering, some pictures perhaps, piece count etc.

[MOC] Minifig-scale B-Wing (update) & Rebel Squadron
I Scream Clone replied to RenegadeClone's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just beautiful! I love how the cockpit stays horizontal no matter the wing configuration. Very swooshable you say, also nicely detailed to boot. Nice in sand blue or dark red. Well done. -
Amazingly detailed work on this Zuloo! I love the fact that so many great members were able to gift you parts and experience. The Grandeur is beautiful, all the details including rigging, sails and more are great. Is there a captains cabin as well? So what's next after conquering the seas?

A nice looking dock you have constructed there. I would like to see some detailing in the water itself, maybe some white water or raised blue plates, white tiles or cheese etc to make the water come alive. Great job.

Thank you all for the kind comments. Glad you like the wheelbarrows, I tried a lot of different designs for those. That's what I like about your Atlantis creation, its using the pieces provided. I really am not too keen on customs just yet. Cheers buddy. Looks like the writing got you too! Who is this ICS guy anyway? Text fixed. Hey, he is in a barrel after all, can't get much more private. Thanks for the historical nod. I don't quite follow what you mean. I know from the angle of the photos that it is hard to see all the 1x1 rounds under the trans bricks (tan, gold, bley, black, and dark bley), and by using a blue plates I lose this effect as well as the fast flowing nature of the water that I was going for. I guess for a stiller calmer water way it would work out. Cheers, I love a good pistol showdown as long as its not me involved

Looks like you are off to a good start on this creation. This is how you get pictures to show up, just copy the code below or Rt click on your image, copy the properties address and use the "Insert picture" icon, [img=http://my.picresize.com/vault/HDMWGD1N1B.jpg] May I suggest the use on some white carboard behind your creation to remove the distracting back grounds as well. Good luck.

MOC: Driving the cattle past the old shop
I Scream Clone replied to Etzel's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Etzel this is a beautiful build! Well done on the old shop, you can feel the decay! I was planning on a cactus myself for one of my creations. The vulture is an amazing creation by Legohaulic, and I had toyed with using it too. I am very jealous of all the brown flower stems you own, they are certainly a rare commodity in the Lego world. Great job on the interior too, some real rack and ruin. Can we expect more from you? Community Western build anyone? -
TOMBCLONE: Wild West MOC Series
I Scream Clone replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks mate, glad you are enjoying the series so far. Thank you and yes they are tumbleweeds for all that may have missed that. Thank you, I worked on the balcony for a little while to get it all figured correctly. Thanks, glad you enjoyed it all. -
GOLD RUSH FEVER Gold has been found in the town of Tombclone! Gold rush fever quickly envelopes the small roughneck town with many disputes over claims often coming to blows. The locals are quick to try out any technique in the hopes of striking it rich! Be it panning, damming, sifting or stealing, people will try anything to cash in. Thanks to SlyOwl for the mountain technique. Of course more high res pics available on Flickr and MOCPages too Cheers ISC

Welcome aboard Lee, an impressive array of armies on show there. May I welcome all the other "sensible adults from MOCPages that I may have missed as well. Great to have an influx of "mature" adults here. Invasion On!

May I recommend this book, Star Wars Complete Locations, This is an amazing resource with detailed cross sectional images of many well known movie locations. I was planning on using it for MOCing in the future. I suggest you try and tackle it one location at a time though. Good luck.

Whilst it is nice to see these sneaky pics, I will still reserve judgment until we actually see the official pictures from Toy Fair etc. Its not fair to judge a product on angled, dodgy, out of focus pics. It demeans all the hard work that designers put into the products. I am sure that all the figures will look great.

TOMBCLONE: Wild West MOC Series
I Scream Clone replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
The masters secrets! Its happening as we speak, hope to get some building done in the next week or so. I would love to see a Western series in the next few years, but the schedule looks pretty chock-a-block at the moment with Pirates being cancelled. Thanks, an interior Saloon is in the works for later on Kris and I seem to operate on the same wavelength, nothing like a bit of healthy rivalry to spur you on! -
This is really interesting Copmike. Does this mean these colours are in production this year? Sand Blue making a come back? The effects colours look like they are weapon etc colours. Each time they try a new colour its probably recorded, so the random numbers are probably the most useful batches they came up with. Perhaps Holodoc would be interested in a colour chart, though it would be imperative that each colour use the rarest part available. Then maybe Shadows is our man

Sensational work on both these beauties Oky. Just what I imagine these guys cruising around in. All that purple is quite a sight.

Western Lego figures

Some great looking ideas for figs Etzel. The green wizard gown doesn't really fit in my opinion otherwise the rest look great. Good luck on the build. -

I Scream Clone replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Thanks to all of you for stopping by to comment on my Tombclone builds, I hope to have more soon. I guess you figured out the link to my user name I am glad you like, I was keen to use Sand Green for one of the buildings in Tombclone and feel it looks good. Sounds good, I look forward to what you come up with too. Cheers Very creative use of ants indeed. I am glad most people realized they were tumbleweeds How very Thoroughgood of you, cheers! Head for the hills pardners!
