  1. To all ye knights and fare maidens, the Community Castle Build has reached its finale. It was an absolute blast while it lasted and I really enjoyed the camaraderie it created around the Forum. I was fortunate to witness many great Castle themed creations from loads of great members and without all the participation this project would never have gotten off the ground. A special thanks goes to the Staff at Eurobrick's for giving this idea a chance, I think it helped showcase us to the wider community of Castle fans. It has spawned many reflections over the last year or so and for this I am amazed. It is able to unite many great builders in one place to showcase their creations and learn from others as well. All in all we were able to build 88 modules! Most competitions would struggle to get that sort of turn out! Another special mention to Thrash for not only designing and redesigning the layout, but contributing soooo many modules as well What new projects await the Castle Forums? Who can say? For now though I say thanks to the community for all their help in getting this marvelous project off the ground. Cheers ISC.
  2. So it seems I Scrub Commodes (with cats). Shadows strikes again! Nasty!
  3. I Scorn Cats probably from anyone of the Staff who actually like cats, as I do not. Of course it fits the whole ISC as well. In my opinion cats make excellent toilet brushes.
  4. Wow that is a lot of impressive entries! I had no idea that the community build had got so large. I think I shall give exotrator my vote, just a vibrant pleasing cannon foundry
  5. Thanks for the thorough review Ricey I can't wait to get my mitts on this great looking set, lots of tiles, interesting parts and awesome figures. Cheers ISC.
  6. Sounds like a blast, hopefully I can make a visit. If there are trains, my eldest son will be in heaven!
  7. A hilarious addition to the community build. I love it. Great rehab program and the roof looks fantastic.
  8. Well done on a great assortment of entries! I love the skull island.
  9. Very nice work, seems faithful to the original, perhaps you could incorporate some wear and tear into the brick work to give it the old world look? Other wise really nice work.
  10. Amazingly detailed work again DC! Love the background story. I love all the detailed buildings and the shoreline and figures are nicely done as well. The green building itself is equivalent to a Cafe Corner, so there is just loads of building on this beauty to enjoy! Who is the character standing between yours and Sly's figs? I am inspired to have a go at a coastline myself soon. Cheers!
  11. Very nice work on the Mech and custom figures. It all adds up to an awesome creation. Loving the greebling and hands on the Mech. Well done.
  12. Cheers guys, Glad you all got a good laugh out of this vignette/comic.
  13. This is a really nice review of a set I previously wasn't too interested in. However you have piqued my interest and I love all the rarer colours of bricks this set has. $100 seems like a sweet price for 1000 pieces too. Hopefully there are still a few cheap ones out there.
  14. Evil catacombs FTW! Looks swanky Svelte, I can't wait to lay hands on one or more of these. I always enjoy your Lego expenditure at work. Even if your credit card doesn't.
  15. This is my creation for the MOCPages MOCAthalon in the category of; I can write better than George Lucas. Go Team Eurobrick's Finest! So if you wanna know the real reason Padme died during childbirth then read on. Location: Polis Massa Birthing Room. Obi Wan, Padme, and Birthing Bot. Obi: Its ok Padme, I am here. Just try to relax. Observation room: Yoda, Bail Organa, R2D2 and C3PO. Yoda: Troubling times this is indeed. Birthing Room: Birthing Bot: Ooba, Ooba Obi: Its a boy. Padme: Luke. Observation Room: Yoda: A moment step out I must. Bail: Please Yoda stay. Your skills may yet be needed. Birthing Room: Birthing Bot: Ooba, Ooba Obi: Its a girl. Padme: Leia. Birthing Room: Birthing Bot: Ooba, Ooba Obi: Wait, a third child! Its a ... Its a .... Bail: Master Yoda! Do you have anything to say for yourself? C3PO: Oh my! Yoda: What?!?! Why are you all looking at me? It was obviously the immaculate midi-chlorion conception! Padme: Uuurrrkkk! Reference shot. Chroon-Tan B-Machine Hope you like. Cheers ISC.
  16. Great idea, I thought about doing this but time is running out for us in the Comp, so I just went for simple.
  17. Thank you all so much for the nice comments I hope to play it soon. The boulder platform is on hinge bricks, you just tip it down when you reach the end, thereby vanquishing your foes!
  18. Seems like a good bunch of idea to try Sheldon. Sorry yall, I was ar busy er changing the film in my digital camera, yer that sounds feasible.
  19. I built this Indiana Jones game for the MOCAthalon over on MOCPages for the "Its Only a Game" category. I can't wait to have a few games with my son. It features 6 unique characters from the Indiana Jones Movies, a dice and a Snakes and Ladders style game. It even has a nice twist at the end for the winner. The winner can drop a boulder onto any one right behind them for a bonus victory! 6 figures so everyone can be Indy! More here at MOCPages Cheers ISC.
  20. Thanks guys! Always up for nice comments and even critique Cheers.
  21. Thanks Brickster for the Frontpaging and to all the nice comments as well. Cheers.
  22. The key is the 1x1x5 bricks, they stop a lot of the flexing between bricks, as I ran out and resorted to 1x1 bricks it starts to fall down on the edges a little. Or did I already say that somewhere else?
  23. Team Eurobrick's Finest entry for The Honorable Yuri Fassio Spinning Top Category, MOCAthalon 2010. Now its a given that most Orc's aren't the smartest crop, so its a mystery who created this Orcish weaponry? However its most likely he or she met with the same fate that all operators of this spinning monstrosity tend to. No need to promote Orc's in this division, they don't generally survive long enough. Start er up! Run you fools! Blades of Fury in action. More at MOCPages Cheers.
  24. I had no idea there was a train set in the Spiderman line. Brickster you have produced a top notch crisp review of a really nice set. I love the detailing on the subway car, as well as the webbing complete with radioactive spiders Looks like a nice set of figures to boot. Great stuff.
  25. Nice work on this Thrash, the colours work quite well for drawing attention to the questionable activities that lie within.
