Perhaps you might fill us in on what country these are in, so that the rest of the community can find out whether they have to rush off to the newsagent. I feel to start we should have the groups focus on a back corner each. That way the smaller structures can be built around a large tower/centrepiece in the corner. Keep signing up boys and girls, and feel free to add a preference too!

Ok people, time to put your name in the hat. I will randomly draw interested builders out to assign to the groups once the leaders have confirmed. Ok tentative time! How many builds do we want, 2 or 3 groups? I'm happy to lead one group , Dragonator has expressed interest in leading another. KimT are you keen to lead a group? Probably about 5-6 people for each group sounds good. Whoever wants to incorporate the stable should expect to work with Stash2sixx. I would like to build a Wizards tower personally Lets open the next can of worms EB

Looks like the thrill has died down. I declare Thrash the winner for castle floor plan design. Now back to the pinned topic to discuss minor tweaking to what is a great start for the Castle Community build. Thanks all for your constructive criticism and help. Awesome! Guess I better add some more detail It was a while coming, but well worth the wait! Lots of little details that really stand out. Im a big fan of the tree design you have by inverting the shrubs onto a brown antennae, must try that one time. Just like Teddy's MOC I love the window design, I think I know how to build it, but please point out your method if you like. The stained glass window design is great on the rear of the building, just proves that you shouldn't "judge a book by its cover" ie. dont just look at the front, you may miss something cool on the back. All the little details like dragon gargoyles, the ornate decorating of the entrance, the top of the parapets/balcony. Im curious to how you go about holding the raised ground up? I usually use lime green, yellow, red bricks etc that aren't needed for the moc, to build reinforcements under the base. Same for you too? I agree with Athos, in that the building itself would look a little more imposing if it was taller. I also feel the stream might need some movement in it, not sure whether some bubbles from round 1 x 1 clear plates are needed, but thats just personal preference. Another thing is to make the entrance a gate house, this would allow the balcony to be extended forward a fair way. Great work mate! Keep it coming.

I agree! If you have something else to say that doesn't relate to the game say it elsewhere. The whole idea is to assume the role of a member of Salem in the past, not discussing todays events. Save that stuff for other topics that are relevant. Lets get into the Characters that TPRU has created and enjoy the show.

I offer no easy answers for you all, though my voting and the good Fathers hintings led to a massive ground swell of voting for Charles, nobody is game enough to land the final couple of votes. I prefer to take our chances than sit by idly waiting for witches to snuff us out 1 by 1. Though I was at Mustafa's, I didn't purchase anything (to my knowledge) perhaps I merely went there to discuss our plans for the evening. Oh and Philip the book reader. You came close to getting my vote for the ridiculous voting in your post! Take a stand, don't stuff around

The team will decide who builds what part (big vs small) depending on what we all have. There is no rush on this project we are taking our time! Check the first post for people on the list, I think I put you on there ages ago actually just did it then... Clearly all the cool people go on one team, and you get the rest, like me It will be just like school all over again Working in your group will allow you to help out your teammates if they are struggling on details. Everyone is a winner here Thrash, the prize is community involvement on a project that will look great at the end.

Its all chugging along nicely folks. Keep those ideas coming. Thrash I think with whatever design we decide upon we have to use your design program to draw up the final schematic. So if you are keen you can have the job of architect/foreman for the global end product. Cheers

I like where we are going with the parchment being bought by a noble, though this still doesn't really prove that it will be used for Witchery, just writing. Thank you Pickerel, I wasn't aware of how noble i was, im actually a peasant for your info! shocking I know....so I guess that leaves Charles/Hinckley as the most likely parchment purchaser. For all we know he may right a note and throw it at Sergio, not very menacing. I think TPRU is merely showing us how someone will probably die tonight.

Basically the Community response has been outstanding, so we want to make this thing enormous! Step one is to choose a prefered floor plan to then divide up into builds for the community builders. Below are some options that hopefully get us moving in the right direction. Thanks to Sandy, Teddy and Thrash for some ideas. Depending on the floor plan selected, we may then have to determine baseplate sizes for rooms afterwards. Majority rules guys, so help shape this community. 1.Sandy 2.Thrash 3.Teddy = Beaumaris in Wales 4.Teddy = Muiderslot in the Netherlands 5. ISC off net. As a bonus here are some of the room ideas from Pickerel, feel free to add any we may have missed. Garden Barracks Wizard's Astronomy Tower Dungeon Solar Kitchen Blacksmith Stable Armory (for storing weapons) Grand Hall Fletcher Chapel Gatehouses Dovecote King's Room Guest Room Servant's Quarters Carpentry Also the idea of adding a port/ wharf entrance to the castle is a valid idea too, that im sure we could add on somewhere. All plans will need tweaking later so drop by the pinned topic in future to help out

Got the point in one hit pickerel! Its all about fun and cooperation. There will always be an option for a member or two to maybe build and display the whole thing, but for now lets make the best damn MOC's around What i will do hopefully today is post a couple of floorplans (the ones above and maybe others in a poll topic) then we may be able to divie up the projects a little better.
